I recently had my shingle roof replaced with Craftsman Roofing. My initial contact was with Julius who at all times was professional and answered any questions I had during the whole process. On the day the crew came to remove the old shingles I also spoke with Joe who was overseeing the job, he answered all my questions and was very professional. I was amazed how quickly the crew was able to remove the old shingles and clean up! The same was true when the new shingles arrived and were installed. I was completely happy with my experience with Craftsman Roofing and referred them to my Aunt and Uncle who are now in the process of having their roof replaced by Craftsman Roofing. My experience was a positive one.

My story is about the same as others except I paid Josh 22,000.00 and all I got after over a year was a roof and soffit board.. no porch..they did put shutters back up but one is already down. No one will answer me when call and I just don't know where to turn to get my money back for I know they have STOLE it.. thinking of small claims court because I do have signed contracts for this work.. now another story bad on me.. the insurance kept my deductible of 4,000.00 but Josh told me I had to pay them that same amount in a different check.. what made me do that again is beyond me but know I got took AGAIN.. if any one knows a better step for me to take please let me know.. DO NOT USE!
Where to begin. After the hurricane in Oct of 18 I contacted this company (Nov) and wanted them to handle several repairs for my property. I was in contact with an employee named Ronnie who was supposed to look over what the insurance quoted for repair and then make adjustments to get everything fixed. Fast forward a few weeks and nothing has happened. Several more weeks later I am passed to another employee named Jordan because Ronnie went to work another location. Started back over from square one with Jordan. After another few weeks Jordan stopped answering his phone and Ronnie was reassigned to get the work done at my house. Up until this point communication was terrible and I was never informed of progress.
No progress was made until Feb. In Feb Ronnie went and made some repairs to the roof himself and I paid him directly. Once he made the repairs he called and text several times which was unusual since I rarely heard from him. I paid him through Venmo, so I am sure the work he did was not licensed or a permit was not pulled and it never went through the company who I was hiring just him personally.
After the roof I was still not provided with any dates or status updates for the rest of the repairs. Skip forward another week or so I tell him that the process is taking too long and that I would be getting another company to perform the work at my house and would no longer be using them. It was at this time I was contacted by the GM Donnie and one of the Owners Sean who insisted that they could get this work done. I agreed to allow them another opportunity and Ronnie started to provide me with dates that the work would be done (Approximately a week later). Fast forward to that week and no work is done. I contacted Ronnie and it was at this point he said he had taken on more work than he could handle and was basically ""Blowing Smoke"" when he was making dates up that work could be done. I informed him I would be contacting the owner and GM about this and he said that is probably the best idea at this point.
The end of March I spoke with the GM and owner and told them about the situation that was going on and the lack of progress. The owner said he did not build this business to do work like this and begged me for another chance to prove his company is a good company. After this I was told that I would no longer be working with Ronnie but with the GM directly. He informed me he would be reviewing the details of my account directly and then would begin the work. I was told that the work would be done on Sat 13 April. On that day I called to see why the work was not done and was told that after reviewing my account there was a lot more work that needed to be done that they did not realize needed to be done so they needed to re-look over the information and would not be able to do the work that day.
At this point I am furious with this company and tell them to just forget it and that I would get another company who would be able to do the work. He asked to please give him until Monday to get back with me. I said fine. One last time and if I did not have solid dates and times on Monday I was dropping this company no matter what.
Well here it is Monday and no word from anyone in this company. Really sad that it had to come to this but I think that any company who treats a customer like this for so long should not be in business.
