The owner met us at our home and explained in great detail about the shingles, time frame, warranty and gave us a much information to look through. He also provided 100s of references. They are in excellent standing with the BBB. He mentioned the shingles he uses (impact 3 I think) which withstand wind and would save me money on my insurance. Sure enough the insurance company knocked off around 450.00 because of the quality of the shingles.
I needed to have my property reroofed before my insurance was due and he was able to fit me in. I really appreciated this. His bid included superior shingles and a much better quote than competitors.
I also investigated the shingles he suggested to put on my roof. The brand he uses are rated superior in every article I could find. I read a lot about the shingles. They look great too.
In the end I'm going with a company i feel I can trust and puts my interests first. I found Tom to be honest, reliable, trustworthy and his crew and lead man Jessie did a great job. We were happy with the entire experience. I know his company has been around about 40 years or so and you can feel it. Good old fashioned honest work.

During the quote the quote process, other roofing companies gave estimates of completing my roof in one day. Craddock estimated two days, and I was ok with this. I even took vacation so I could be home while the work was being done.
On the morning the work was supposed to be started, only 4 guys showed up, and they said the work would take three days. The owner, his son, and I then went back and forth on the time frame. They claimed first the extended time was needed for quality control, then they blamed the length of the days and cool weather (as if the number of hours on the target date had some how shortened between the time the quote was given and when they showed up). The problem was they wouldn't allocate enough workers to get the job done in the original time frame they quoted.
As I had so much time and effort already invested, and I had taken the time off from work, I finally agreed to just get it done on the revised three day schedule. Ten to fifteen minutes after agreeing to this with the owner, his son called to say.....they needed AT LEAST three days...most likely three and a half days!! At that point I just told him to get his people and equipment off my property.

Roof replaced by Craddock in Feb 2016. 3 years later, still good. Minor issues were taken care of. They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive. They were really competitive. I liked that we were able to change and upgrade as needed (pricing was very transparent). They are now my goto roofer. I also chose them b/c they manually nailed shingles and not with the airgun.

My husband and I put alot of time towards the process of getting quotes and researching quality roofers, making sure we were getting the best deal for quality work and good customer service. As soon as we talked to Parker, we knew we'd go with Craddock Roofing. Parker was extremely professional and patiently answered all our questions (it was our first time to get a roof replacement). He explained every detail in the quote, so we felt comfortable with understanding exactly what we would be paying for. We ended up getting the CertainTeed Landmark PRO and were so happy with how everything turned out. Within a couple weeks, the workers came out and completed the roof in 2 days. Tom (the owner) came by to do a thorough inspection of the work and it seemed as if he really cared about the quality of our roofwork, checking that we were happy with everything. Would definitely recommend this company to all family and friends. It's a family-owned company and it definitely shows in how much they cared about keeping us informed every step of the way and the quality of their work.

We had an excellent experience with Craddock roofing. Thorough upfront information and helpful reference roof list and sample boards to assist choice of shingles. We received a very clear quote from Tom with options transparent. Tom was flexible when we wanted to make a change to the original order. Our roof was replaced before Hurricane Harvey and was fully water tight throughout showing the quality work. His team on site were professional and careful around the property and his foreman came to inspect the work before billing. Highly recommend.

Had an absolutely perfect experience with Craddock Roofing.
It began with my first meeting with Parker, who explained all the various materials options that were available, and gave an unbiased cost-benefit analysis of each of them.
Prior to the actual project beginning, I met with Parker and Jesse so that they would be aware of my special needs and concerns.
From the beginning all the way to the end, Jesse was the definition of the perfect supervisor. Always polite, always helpful, always attentive. Each day began with protections being built to protect my slate courtyard, and to protect the delicate camera-phone system in my gate. Each and every night, all these protections were removed, and the area totally ""manicured"" to factory-new cleanliness. The next morning, all the protections were reinstalled.
I asked for, and received, MULTIPLE photos of the work as it progressed.
An almost unheard of special feature of Craddock is that they HAND NAIL each and every shingle. All the other roofers I talked to use pneumatic nailers, which don't even come close to the perfection of hand nailing. Takes much more time, but the result is orders of magnitude better.
I'm a cranky, nit-picky customer, and difficult to please, but Craddock did it.
To Parker and Jesse (must again mention how spectacular Jesse was), THANKS FOR A PERFECT JOB!!

I communicated with 3-4 different contractors at the time and instantly dropped the rest after talking with Craddock Roofing. They were very knowledgeable with the work and also was very willing to work with the budget. Knowing that they have been in business for a long time also gave me a peace of mind that I can call them years down the road for warranty repairs. The workers all showed up on time and did a wonderful job on the roof. I couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience.

Great experience from start to finish. Very pleased with my new roof. The entire process went smoothly. Tom Craddock explained roof materials, options, and job process. I would certainly use Craddock again and have referred his company to friends.

An outstanding roofing company for Houston. We are really pleased with the quality of the install. 6 nails per shingle ,130 mph roof. We have the best looking roof on the whole block. I'm glad I did my research, and I'm glad I went with Craddock Roofing.

Tom gave me a detail introduction on the materials and the process how his team will install the shingles, and walked me thru all the details. In the quote he gave me afterwards, he listed different options and their prices and I chose Certainteed Landmark Pro, Max Def Moiré Black, which turned out to be great looking on my house. Oh, I forgot to mention that the reason I'm replacing my roof is that there was a leak around the jacks during one the storms in April and I figured that it would be better to replace the whole thing given that the roof is almost 20 years old. Though tom told me that they have to wait for at least 4-6 weeks before they can start due to capacity, he patched the leaking area without charges. Right after the fix, we had several storms, including the devastating 100 year rain/flood, but no leak anymore. 4 weeks after signing the contract, I talked to Tom to see if he can start early to accommodate my travel plan in May, and he quickly agreed and the roof was done in two days. The crew spoke and understood English very well and kindly addressed my questions the whole time during the installation. After the job is done, Jesse, the manager came over and did a detailed inspection of the work and addressed a few issues I pointed out (space between the shingle and gutter etc.). Overall, I loved the job and the new shingles look beautiful and I feel that my house looks newer. I will definitely hire them again in the future if anything need to be done with the roof.
