Josh at C&R Roofing inspected our roof shortly after a hailstorm and told us that we needed our roof replaced. He provided all the documentation that we needed to submit to our insurance company and then came and was with the insurance company when the insurance company assessed the damage. We were approved for a new roof and C&R Roofing allowed us to select the shingles we wanted based on what our insurance company had approved. C&R allowed us to schedule when they would replace our roof so it wouldn't interrupt our schedules and even asked us where we wanted them to set up their trucks, trailers, and materials when they came in case it would hurt anything.

When they came to install the roof, the crew was very nice and cleaned up each day after they were finished. Our roof took a couple of days to finish except for some of the flashing that they needed to order to complete the job. C&R Roofing allowed me to pay them after I received the payments from my insurance company so I didn't have to worry about not having enough in my personal account to pay them. After they finished my roof, I thought it looked fantastic, but I am not a professional so I had a friend of mine come take a look at the roof to see if he could find any issues. He affirmed that the job was well done and even pointed out how straight the shingles were installed and that the valleys and ridges were very well done.

I enjoyed working with Josh and C&R Roofing very much and I recommend them very highly. I am thinking about putting metal roofing on gables above some of my windows and would definitely call C&R Roofing first to get them to do the work.

Long story... but, these guys drove through my neighborhood after a decent storm and went door to door in attempt to get ppl to file claims with their insurance under ""acts of god"" for storm damage to their roofs. Their intent was to do the work and pick up the check from the homeowners insurance. I had Joshua Nicholson and Josh Stamps show up to my door to advise me that I incurred some storm damage, and offered a free quote. I advised them I had recently tried to get a roofer out for something completely unrelated to the storm that was discovered while cleaning our gutters. So, we scheduled a date for an inspection.

The day of the inspection Jeremy Stamps shows up, and apparently his colleagues did not advise him that we lived on a slope. As a result, he didn't have the ladder necessary to get on my roof. We discussed expectations and he told me he'd have someone come out the following day. For some added insight he informed me that my insurance company is sometimes difficult to file a claim with, which I advised wasn't a concern and I'd pay out of pocket if necessary, but I was also concerned about the other issue that I was trying to get a roofer out for prior to them showing at my door. Jeremy acknowledged this.

Now, fast forward to the day they actually get on my roof. They were up there for quite some time. One of the roofers, who I failed to get his name, knocked on my door and advised me that there wasn't enough damage to file a claim with my insurance company. When I asked about the other issue that I was concerned about, he advised me that his boss never told him about it, so he never assessed the situation. A little upset, I asked for a quote for the supposed storm damage that I did incur. He said he'd have his boss get back to without so much asking for an email address or anything. Guess what? No quote.

I ended up having another reputable roofer come out to repair the issue that was my initial concern, and not only did he address that issue, but he repaired the ""storm damage"" C&R said I incurred from the storm at no additional charge. Shady way of doing business is all I have to say. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of other mostly positive reviews, which I now find hard to believe. Only reason I gave two stars was because everyone was at least very friendly to my face.

FOLLOW UP: Got a call from Jeremy within hours of posting my review because ""a bad review is bad for business."" Normally I'd give him some credit for trying to reach out and make things right, but apparently he just saw the bad review without actually reading it because he offered to come out and give me a quote for the repair I already had done by another roofer. Just more and more I think about it, the more and more I think these guys are scamming people. Buyer beware!
