First of all they showed up 30 minutes late for the scheduled appointment. Their bid was the highest bid BY FAR that I received. They were nice and professional until they wanted my drivers license so they could run my credit. I told them I was just collecting estimates right now. At this point their unrelenting high pressure sales kicked in. Kevin the Covenant Roofing representative faked a phone call to a ""finance manager"" promising cheap deals and low interest rates if I committed to the work and signed a contract right now. It felt like a con. I asked him to leave my property. It ended with Kevin walking to his truck yelling at me that I wasted his time. THEY ARE CON MEN, DO NOT TRUST THEM

The roof construction itself is quality work. The roofing crew arrived on the time and date specified and cleaned up after their job. My roof passed county inspection. My issue with the company is not with the roof itself, but with their warranty. The salesman advised me this company has a 15 year workmanship warranty on the roofs they install. This was a key determination to choosing this company over its many competitors in the area. The salesman even showed me examples of competing roofing company's sales contracts which indicate only a 5 year standard warranty for work done. The salesman confirmed the cost with Covenant to be higher because of this 15 year warranty. I signed a sales contract which states ""12. ALL WORK COVERED BY A 5 YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY. CRC upgrade_warranty applies."" The salesman confirmed that their CRC (Covenant Roofing Company) upgrade warranty was to total the roof under a 15 year warranty. He stated I would receive the warranty at the completion of the roof. I was sold. The roof was built. The final CRC inspection was completed by a project manager. I asked about the warranty paperwork. He stated I would receive the papers upon payment. I asked specifically if there were any out of pocket costs. He said he did not know, but that the paperwork would indicate such terms. At a later time, this is the warranty coverage I received:
""Covenant Roofing & Construction, Inc. warrants to you an extended warranty of __15___ years. This warranty is transferable to one new owner.
This warranty includes 5 years of unconditional workmanship. An officer of the company will need to perform a maintenance inspection of the roof starting on the 6th year and every year thereafter for the life of the warranty. There will be a fee of $150.00 per inspection for the recertification of the roof. If an inspection is missed the warranty will become void.
This warranty does not cover product defects, extreme weather conditions or acts of God. This warranty does not cover any additional cost to remove and/or reinstall any roof peripherals to complete repair.""
Needless to say I was distraught over the additional costs to maintaining this warranty and the indication that it would become null and void if I was non-compliant.
After several in person and phone conversations, there was no remedy to the fact that I would need to make additional payment beyond that of the sales contract, if I desired to continue my warranty coverage after 5 years. They did, however, gift me 2 separate VISA gifts cards in the amount of $50 and $150 for my inconvenience.
The office was pleasant and apologetic in listening to my concern, but apologies will not cover my cost after the initial limitations. I advised them not to sell customers on what they are not actually offering in their agreement and without making such knowledge available to the consumer.

Do not hire these people. They are dishonest, they are very happy to take your money. They didn`t complete the work they were hired to do. My roof
solar ventilator and front gutter ended up in the trash without telling us what was going on. When I went outside to inspect the finished work, I complained about the solar ventilator and front gutter. Their answer was that the solar ventilator was broken and instead they put a larger exhaust which will do a better job. $600 dollars went to the trash, we still had a year left in the warranty, we could had a new solar ventilator installed by the vendor. We had been calling many times about the front gutter. We always got the same song and dance. ""Someone will call you later"" After a few weeks waiting and several phone calls, we finally we had a HONEST answer. We misunderstood and people were telling us the wrong thing. We are very disgusted with these people and their dishonest way of doing business. Once they get your money, you are on your own. They will not get a good recommendation nor they will get a good review. They are getting a big fat ZERO and a very bad review. Run as fast as you can to get away from these people.

CR&C was amazing! They weren't pushy at all, the crews showed up when they said they would, and they finished on or before when they estimated. The work is great, the staff are super friendly, and they helped get my insurance claim to cover my entire roof, not just a small repair. I highly recommend them; you won't be disappointed!

Don't call unless you want a hard sell and to be insulted for not researching their competitors. Salesman barged in house (without offering to wear a mask). Price was 50% higher than other bids. Wow! He called his supervisor to listen in on sale and was insolent when asked to leave. Couldn't get guy to leave. Most uncomfortable sales pitch I've ever heard.

Another positive observation in addition to my yesterday's review. After the job was done ad the area carefully cleaned, today Covenant employee again inspected/cleaned the area around my house using a special tool and the air blower, before pulling the dump container. Really professional attitude!

Very professional people to work with. Respectful and knowledgeable about our particular roof. We wanted a steel roof and we had several companies come out and give estimates. Covenant was the only one who knew how to do our roof the way we wanted. We could have gone with lower bids.. but would have sacrificed quality. Covenant is top notch in their craft! Would recommend this company to everyone!

I wouldn't trust anyone else to put a roof over my head. After I called them they were out for an estimate the next day. They provided amazing 0% interest financing. They also completed my roof a week ahead of schedule. The workers were respectful and cleaned up after themselves, they saw that my dryer vent was broken so they replaced it and hooked it back up no questions asked. I am excited to officially remove the bucket out of my living roof! Overall a very pleasant experience, EASY 5 STARS!

from soup to nuts, it is hard to imagine a roofing company, or any kind of company, that could out perform these guys. They show up, stage the materials, and then when they come to do the roof, they right well do the roof. They put ours on in two days in the blazing hot Florida sun and were gone. There was not a speck of refuse or a single nail anywhere on our property. The roof came out fantastic, of course. We could not be more pleased.

VERY ANTAGONISTIC! I've now asked them 3 times to STOP emailing me and calling... and they STILL continue... as their last email indicated , ""If you don't want anyone to contact you, then don't post online where companies can reach out to you.""

This was AFTER I emailed her, ""Please do not contact me anymore. I cancelled HomeAdvisor within hours after being inundated with contractors. I only expected the contractors I selected to contact me.""

---------------
UPDATE... DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. After sending a 3rd request, she sent me 3 more emails... THEY WON'T STOP BOTHERING YOU EVEN AFTER YOU ASK THEM TO!
