I hired Covelli Roofing for a reroof based on the reviews I read. I was impressed with Juan who inspected my roof. Danny seemed like a very nice person...It all went downhill when the crew (which I assume was sub-contracted) worked on the roof. Poor workmanship. They repaired a section of the roof and on one section of the board all the nails missed the truss. As an engineer I went up into to attic to check what they did and that's how discovered it. The underlayment (peel n' stik) buckled in many places, they couldn't apply it smooth. Next, the drip edge, gaps everywhere, they tried to fix it several times, in the end we agreed they would caulk some of the gaps. Buckling of the shingles, certain rows of shingles were not overlapping equidistantly, they call this ""low gap or side."" There is a section of the roof that seems to have a ""dip."" Overall I am not impressed with the workmanship. As a customer I shouldn't be pointing these things out, they probably would not have said anything and collected their money and ran. I would NOT recommend Covelli Roofing.

From the start it was a pleasure working with Danny the owner. Very professional and knew everything that needed to be submitted to the insurance company. Not only did he take care of all the paperwork but was punctual which is a hard thing to find these days. His crew was amazing to work with also. Highly recommend.

Found Covelli web page and because it stated they were veteran owned I sent them an email through their web page.
3 days later after no response to the email, I called the number listed. Guy answered and I told him what we wanted to do.
He said someone would call me.
Later that day I received a call from 'M'.
Scheduled an inspection date and 'M' arrived at that time.
Said he detected hail damage and took pics of the roof as verification.
Said we should contact our insurance and put in a claim.
Said he would come out when the insurance inspector would be here. Contacted insurance, scheduled inspection date, called 'M' and let him know.
He said he would be there.
Date of inspection, no word from 'M', no phone call, no voice mail, no text.
Insurance guy will arrive shortly.
Still no word from 'M'.
Sent 'M' text msg reminding him of the inspection.
RESPONSE: ""I was in an accident this morning and can't make it""
THAT's IT - NOTHING MORE
I respond asking if he's ok.
He responds yes, but says he's really shook-up.
I think he died right after that text msg because that was the last I ever heard from him. . . . or Covelli, or anyone else associated with that company.

The insurance inspector came and went - we're not getting shit from them based on 'Their' inspection. . . . . .

Covelli? - - - adios muchachos - you now have a lifelong 'Hater'

#1... We're not complete assholes!!!! Accidents happen - that's the way of the world. But. . .

#B... I'm not a roofer so I'm uneducated in the correct roofing protocols when something like this happens. . . so the following may be some sort of unacceptable roofing breach of ethics or something. . .

#15... Had it been me, once I was safe/ok/conscious, I would have contacted X to let X know that I couldn't make it. I wouldn't have waited until X had to call me. . . .

#L...Had it been me, once I was safe/ok/conscious, I would have contacted someone at Covelli to let them know I wasn't going to make it and could they send someone else out for the inspection and kept X aware of everything. . .

#O-2... Had it been me, I would have followed up to see if Covelli was able to send someone out, how the inspection went, any other questions.

#Z... I would have apologized profusely. . . many times

Quality and professionalism. Extremely friendly and always responsive to inquiries. I recently had my roof replaced and it could not have been an easier experience. They took care of EVERYTHING! I recently had some hail damage that the staff was kind to inspect. They helped me out through the entire process including filing my insurance claim for which they maintained continuous contact with my adjuster. They were even able to get the shingles that my HOA required by the next day even though they weren't normally the type they usually work with or had in stock. The crew came in on the scheduled day early and got to work. In about a day and a half, I had a beautiful new roof and my property was left perfectly clean. They had to gut my gutters and are replacing them with new ones that are better secured and all around the house! I'm so pleased with the results I already hired them to get my rental property handled as well. Superb work! It is definitely as good as it can get!
