The Sunday before Christmas when a moderate storm came through Suisun, my husband discovered a leak in our bedroom ceiling. Monday morning, I called a couple of different roofing companies (one a larger company), not sure if I'd hear from anyone. Well, Tuesday morning Carlos called me and made an appointment to come out and take a look that day. After inspecting our roof (tile, 22 years old), he gave me two quotes - one to fix the immediate problem and one to fix all of our roof's issues. The quote to fix all of these problems (given the pending El Nino) was too good to pass up. He came out the next day and in the course of 3 hours fixed every loose and cracked tile, replaced missing tiles, removed debris, and took care of every spot on our roof where water might intrude, along with cleaning the gutters. About a week and a half later, my daughter reported feeling a drop of water from her bedroom ceiling. I called Carlos at 4 p.m. His lovely assistant called me back and Carlos went out that evening to take a look given our first El Nino storm was scheduled to come that night. Thankfully, everything looked fine (my husband & I agree that everything looks dry). The storm hit @ 2 a.m. This morning we checked our bedroom and my daughter's bedroom ceiling and everything was completely dry. Carlos has impressed my husband and I with his promptness, attentiveness, and the professional way he runs his business. We will definitely be using Carlos for the care and maintenance of our roof and recommend him to friends and family.

Carlos is amazing and is very polite. He makes everything stress free and is easy to talk to. His estimate came in cheaper than others, and his crew arrived on time, with no issues. It is amazing how fast they got our roof done, for our home and detached garage. Finished in 2 and a 1/2 days (came in on Saturday morning with a light crew to finish it up), cleaned up after themselves, and were super thorough. Aside from the banging, I didn't even notice they were there! LOL Would highly recommend. He also did our BIL's house, and came as a referral. What a great company.

Carlos, , provided detailed written work & material in job estimate. Workers were very professional, no hidden surprises or cost over runs from the estimate. One thing that surprised me was the fact that there was no up front money required, and no payments as job was completed. Pay off was at the completion of the job. Roof, gutters, flashing, (chimmey/skylight), roof jacks, cannot be improved on. Very satisified. Have no idea, why my address would show up from my last residence in Warrensburg Mo. Now in Vacaville?

Oh, oh, the first winter storm of '14 indicated we had a problem with our roof. Carlos of Cost U Less Roofing was referred to us, and we couldn't have asked for better service. Carlos arrived on time for the estimate. He first viewed the interior damage then carefully accessed the roof. After showing the problem area with the use of photos on his phone, he informed us he had managed to stop the leak, however the area would require new felt in that particular area. The repair cost was reasonable and was performed a short time later. Carlos, Ceclia and crew were outstanding. The recent stormy days on Friday and Sunday proved the leak is a concern of the past. After reading yelp i called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate around 5-5:30pm today, sadly no one has shown up or called. Four minutes past six and all I get is a answering machine.

I read the reviews for roofers in Fairfield and Cost-u-less Roofing (CUL) stood out. I'm a property manager and wanted to choose a contractor who would stand behind their work and provide professional service. CUL was the third bid and they were $800 less than the other two companies recommend by friends to replace a asphalt shingle roof on a 1,100 sq house. I called their reference and they were singing their praises. I wish more people would write reviews.

They showed up on time and completed the job very professionally. About 5 hours later, I had a brand new 30 year rated roof. Carlos has both liability and worker's comp insurance. I won't use anyone without it. The workmanship has a 5 year guarantee against leaks or he will repair at no charge.

Like the other Yelper stated, they cleaned up everything as if they hadn't been there. WOW! I also highly recommend this company.

We needed a roof replaced, Cost U Less came when they said they would, did what they said they would and were extremely professional in every aspect.

Everyday when we came home from work, you couldn't tell anyone had been there - they cleaned up daily and thoroughly, other than the roof was torn off one day, papered another, then replaced.

Have you ever had a business do what they said they were going to do? When they said they were going to do it? For the price they said they would do it for? Yeah, well us either until now - every business could take lessons from the owner, Carlos. He clearly has his team knowing what is important and they take it to heart. Every business should be run this well.

In asking my husband in all his years of business if he ever experienced anything like this, his reply was no. I knew I had never, but was just convinced that was just the way it was - every business giving you about 75%, if you're lucky. To have a company give 150% made us wonder ""OK, something is going to happen, because this just doesn't exist anymore"". Happy to day, it does still exist.

We had a concern about the flow of a gutter after our first rain, and not only did Carlos come to ""fix the problem"" the solution wasn't going to look good, so he called my husband (like he did every time from arriving on the job, to absolutely any question) and gave a different solution and did not charge more.

I have been in sales, retail, wholesale for over 30 years and I can't recall ever having an experience like this. They are the Nordstroms of Roofing!! Keep up the good work, and thank you for such an experience.
