Cornerstone Roofing replaced a shared fence between my neighbor and I. The day they started the fence should have been an indication of how the project was going to go. Without ever asking, the contractor pulled his truck and trailer right up into my lawn, over irrigation lines without a care. They showed up with the wrong materials. They had brought 8' pockets and 2x6 rot board when the spec called for 6' pockets and a 2x10 rot board. The plan was to do certain sections to keep the 6 pet dogs enclosed in their respective yards during the project. That plan never happened. They completely disregarded the entire plan, tore down the entire fence and kept promising the fence would be back together by end of day. End of day came and they hadn't even finished setting all the posts. I had to get out a roll of temporary fencing and install it myself at 10:00pm at night to make sure our dogs couldn't escape when let out. The next day, we expressed concern that they were dry pouring the bags of concrete. We were told that was fine. I called Sakrete, the manufacturer and was told that that was absolutely not ok and the concrete will not mix. Advised the PM of the situation and was reassured it wouldn't be a problem. After the first section was started, I had to explain that the way they were building the fence was not going to work. the pickets and rot board would be in two different planes and the pickets would not sit on top of the rot board correctly. That issue was somewhat addressed but is later an issue with the way they attempted to correct. The contractor then showed up with a framing nailer and 3"" nails attempting to nail in 1/2"" pickets and a 1.5"" framing member which would leave hundreds of nails protruding on the back side and we were told they would just bend over the nail heads with a hammer. I said absolutely not. They agreed to get the proper length nails. They then showed up with a mini hobbies compressor used for air brushing to run a pneumatic framing nail gun. I offed my portable compressor for them to use because they would be there for days nailing pickets while the compressor tried to repressurize after every nail. They finally finished the fence. I had reservations about the appearance and quality immediately. Less than two weeks had passed and the boards were beginning to warp. Pickets were missing nails. I reached out to Kiel and was told that he would look at it. Week after week i reached out to Kiel asking what the status was. I advised the issues were getting worse and worse. The nails were beginning to rust and streak the pickets. I decided to drive a test probe into the concrete and found the concrete hasn't cured as we expected. Kiel has not communicated one bit about what the plan is and just keeps deferring week after week. One week ago, he finally sent out another subcontractor to review and his verbal response was he recommends the fence be rebuilt from scratch and he would speak with Kiel for further instructions. Kiel has yet to communicate what he intends to do to correct these issues. Week after week, more issues pop up, the wood continues to warp, improper hardware is rusting and pulling out with ease. The fence isn't even two months old yet. I have spoken with Kiel via telephone and exchanged several emails to no avail.

Excellent quality work, fairly/competitively priced, pleasant company to work with. Would definitely recommend them!

Prompt, professional service. Cornerstone did everything agreed to and did it superbly. My highest recommendation. Thank you, Mike!

I found this roofing company through our neighborhood website. They have worked on several houses in my hood. We worked with Daniel, who was very informative and walked us through the entire process. They did quality work on our roof. I definitely recommend.

They go door to door in our neighborhood each year. This yea they rang our doorbell but would not leave. Instead they stayed around talking to our smart doorbell until we answered. Very unprofessional. No answer means move on.

We have a rental property that we rent and the tenant is a project manager for cornerstone roofing his name is Brad.
Odly enough my name is brad also. He was on top of everything and made this experience smooth and painless. His crew did my roof, gutters, windows, painting fence and interior painting 3 huge rooms. His crews were always on time and polite. All the work was done start to finish in 2 days. I was new to dallas storms but now im so happy i wont have to stress thr next storm. I can just call Brad and he help me go it through all again.

Worked with Mike on our project which included new shingles, re-stained fence and replace broken window. Could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. Everything went just as expected, Mike was responsive and professional. Highly recommend Cornerstone Roofing.

If you want a true professional and outstanding customer service, call Josh! He came out the same day that I called him to look at my roof. He was with me through every step of the process and he always answered my questions with a smile on his face. Now I have a beautiful new roof and I never had to worry about a thing.

Josh with Cornerstone Roofing was amazing. He came to inspect my roof the same day I called him. He want to make sure he was there when the adjuster came to make sure everything that needed to be replaced was covered. He was very thorough throughout the process and even walked the property for nails and to make sure the area was clean. I highly recommend him and Cornerstone Roofing.

WARNING, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. After the hail storm in 2016, we have chosen cornerstone roofing for repair to our two properties. Once the first property was partially finished, the company demanded payment and even waited at our house at 7pm to collect money. Window installed at the first property wasn't installed with the correct shade. Window screens, AC units and garage door were damaged from the falling shingles. As of this date, the screens were not repaired and the window is still not fixed. The second house was again partially finished and Mike Cromer, the rep that we have been working with, demanded payment. Payments were made in full and that is when all the problem started. Window screens are all missing at the second property and we have tried calling Mike for more than ten occasions. The shed on the back was not removed as promised. As of now, Mike has completely blocked our phone call. Several calls were made to Trevor McCormick at the office and again, no follow up, no return call. Now our second property has no window screens and it's a mess in the back yard. Never had i have so much problem with a company.
