We recently used Cornerstone Roofing for our new raised seam metal roof. It was a challenging project due the age and height of the house (100 year old Victorian) along with the severe pitch of the roof. As with any such house there were many unforeseen issues through which they communicated closely with us and meticulously worked to the project's completion. They stayed within their very competitive bid and we are extremely pleased with the outturn.

In conclusion, our experience with Cornerstone was very good and we noted absolutely none of the negative issues expressed in some of the older reviews (which likely were written prior to a change in ownership of the company). For our part, we would definitely use Lucas and his crew (headed by William) again and strongly recommend them for any similar project

As a side note; do not understand why Yelp has placed several reviews for Cornerstone in a secondary category at the bottom of the page noted as 'Reviews Not Currently Recommended'. What does this mean? These reviews are mostly very positive and should be included in the main section of the Yelp Reviews for this company.

I am exceedingly pleased with Cornerstone Roofing. Lucas and his team did everything they promised and more. I know other contractors working on houses in our area were impressed enough by their work for us that they have hired Cornerstone too.

Alonso and his crew were on time everyday, worked fast, worked hard, did great work, and worked around the other trades on our site. With their cooperation we were able to maintain a fast pace, high quality project.

Cornerstone Roofing recently re-roof our very old roof. They did a great job for us. We were very pleased with the results. They handled new skylights and roof drains as well, coordinating with the sub-contractors. Everything went smoothly and the service great. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I recommend Cornerstone Roofing, they did a wonderful job re-roofing my house. Lucas, their estimator, was very responsive and helpful giving me various estimates for different options of re-roofing areas damaged from leaking solar panel penetrations. During the tear off, they took photos of the water damage and also brought to my attention damage caused from a heater vent (which was too short for the roof and a potential fire hazard). They replaced the vent with a taller one (""to code""). After I signed the bid, they were able to begin work within a few weeks and there were no delays during the installation. Before leaving the site, they cleaned up the yard leaving no roof debris or nails around my yard.

Despite good workmanship on the part of the roofing team, the owner was not on site much and seemed distracted during our project. The reason for the poor rating? Communication was tough and we saw some anger management issues on the part of Paul, the owner, over an inconsequential question we posed. I suspect he was under some stress at the time but there is no need to take this out on a client. Unfortunately, this colored the entire experience and I cannot recommend. We have moved but I will look elsewhere should I need roofing in the future.

DO NOT, do not try to use them. First, they are very hard to even reach. Voicemail always full. Then we finally spoke to Paul. Promised to call back in a few days. NO call. We call again and again. Long story is that we wasted almost 3 months waiting for him to a. Call back or b. Show up. Empty promises and even rude about it when we politely mentioned how long we were waiting. Forget using them.
