I don't have a very good impression of this company because they keep parking their Cornerstone Construction Pickup trucks and vehicles near our property line day and night on a long-term basis in front of our house. They have plenty of space where they are located in front of their place, but they inconsiderate and have no respect for the HOA rules and bylaws. As a business they are unprofessional if they act like this and I wouldn't recommend them to friends, family, or acquaintances. We've called and spoke to them about this before and they keep doing the same thing over and over again.

This is my second review. The person who was supposed to be watching over my roof being replaced was never here, less than 5% of the time. The person handling my complaint said he was supposed to be on my jobsite 90% of the time. The 2nd day of the roof replacement, the guys were throwing shingles all over my heat pump. Three times I had to remove all the shingles. Told the help not to drop it on heat pump. They ignored me. We had string lights from the house to the trees, and they threw shingles over them and they were hanging on the lines. My wife told them not to do it. They continued. I sent the pictures to the salesman, and he called and said that happens. I did not have a name or number for the person looking after our roof. The guy showed up that evening, and I showed him the pictures, and seemed not to care. I sent an email to the project manager, got no response, the salesman told no one. By chance a month later a salesperson from Cornerstone came to our door and my wife told this person of our experience. She contacted the person who handles complaints, and that person contacted us. What an amazing joke. Explained my issues, he would send someone from his company to look at my heat pump. Almost a month went by and had not heard a word. Called him and left a message. He called the next morning and said he sent someone to our house on October 2nd. The complaint guy did not notify me about this person coming to my house. The person that came to my house did not call or ring the doorbell. He assumed no one was home because their were no cars in our driveway. We have a garage we park our cars in. The complaint guy says this person is shy, probably why he didn't ring the doorbell. This person messed with my heat pump without our permission. It had been almost 2 weeks since this guy came to my house and no word from complaint guy. I called and left a message. He called and thats when he told me he had sent someone to my house to look at the heat pump. I had to wait a few days, to comprehend the shyness appoach. I sent them the bill the week before for the lighting. As usual no response from complaint guy. I call and leave a message. Over 24 hours pass, and not a word. So, I call the office and talk to someone and explained everything. This person said in the contract, that they weren't responsible for the damage to the lights. She said they had received the bill and talked about it the day before in a meeting. I told her complaint man said his guy was supposed to be on my job 90% of the time. Everything seems way above their capability to understand the issues. Not to long after that conversation, complaint guy calls and explains I will be taken care of. Two days go by and haven't heard a word. I call and talk to the lady I spoke to before. I explained again that someone came on my property without my permission and messed with my heat pump without my permission and I wanted his name. She said I was just one customer, and they had plenty other customers. She said it was my responsibility to contact them about my complaint, and I said I contacted 3 people on July 28th, and I didn't understand why it was taking so long to handle my case. So from her perspective, it was my fault for all the problems.
I told complaint guy my wife and I had to oversee our roof replacement, and the other guy got paid to not be here. I asked him what my compensation would be and he said he would take care of it. After my conversation with the lady, she started yelling at me, I hung up. Not to long after that complaint guy calls and tells me I am getting a check for the light replacements. I said thats it, he said we didn't do a good job of taking care of your roof and handling the complaint. I told him, so if my heat pump goes out, I am responsible, and basically he said yes. I told him our conversation was over. The insurance company gave me their name, and also a friend, who siad he wished he had never given me their name. I went to the insurance company and explained my problem with this company. It sad to say that a company takes no responsiblity for their actions, but they didn't have any problem overcharging me and taking my money. You will defintely never get a referral from me. Guess who the person was that showed up at my house to inspect my heat, the guy who was supposed to look after my roof. I would like to know if he was licensed to check my heat pump. Oh well, Cornerstone doesn't give a damn.

I had an amazing experience with cornerstone construction. in May my roof shingles got damaged due to a nasty storm and needed to be replaced. i was approached by cornerstone about getting my roof shingles replaced. I was apprehensive at first but eventually agreed to let them help me with my roof. I'm sure glad I did. The team did an amazing job! I highly recommend them. Curt did an amazing job guiding me through the proces.

Not everyone is going to have the same experience with any company but ours was 5 star worthy. They were prompt, professional and thorough. And they made good on their promises.

Our contact was Trey Cushwa and he followed up on every issue we noted. He made himself available before, during and after the process. I also interacted with Albert and he was excellent as well.

The process took 1 day and they were very respectful of their surroundings. I would use them again for other work based on our experience with the roof.

I can't rave enough about Cornerstone Construction, Hunter Belue specifically. I called and he helped right away. My rental property had a leak in the roof and he came out and assessed the damage and fixed it right on the spot with ease! Best service I have received in a long time and really appreciate his hard work. Highly recommend using him/them for your roofing and other needs! THANKS HUNTER BELUE AND CORNERSTONE CONSTRUCTION!!!

After a recommendation from my insurance agent I called Cornerstone Construction. Much thanks to Ryan Belue who responded to the call. We didn't have to wait long to get someone out and I could not have gotten better customer service. I won't hesitate to call them for all my future roofing needs.

The experience My boyfriend and I had with Cornerstone Construction is definitely not favorable. This is what my boyfriend wrote (I'm posting for him): ""They were contracted to replace the asphalt shingles on my house and metal roof on my garage, totaling $53k. They did a decent job on the shingles but the metal garage roof was installed improperly.

The installers missed the purlins dozens of times and then just caulked around the screws. When I brought this to their attention, Stephen Bishop and Brian both agreed that was incorrect and agreed to perform the work again.

Upon the 2nd attempt, the work was better, but upon missing the purlins this time they drove their screws in at angles or used a clear epoxy to cover them. There are several screws that they used that do not have rubber washers to seal.

Upon bringing this to their attention again, both Stephen Bishop and Rick Hamlet agreed to fix this problem. Both of them promised me that they would not walk away after giving them the final payment. After 6 calls and 2 emails, no one has ever come out and they have walked away from their poor workmanship. That was 5 months ago.

To my knowledge, they do not inspect their crew's work as both times I had to climb on the roof to do my own inspection. I certainly do not recommend this company.""

Cornerstone Construction (Greenville area, South Carolina) installed a new metal roof with snow rails, gutters, and GutterGlove Pro gutter guard panels on the house during the summer of 2018. When a winter storm dropped some heavy snow the beginning of December '18, the snow rails ripped off of the roof, the gutters tore from the gutter hangers & straps, some of the GutterGlove Pro panels flipped up like dams and others were ripped off of the house. No other house in the development had their gutters damaged or ripped from the gutter hangers and straps. I contacted Cornerstone Construction the day of the incident and sent pictures. I spoke with GutterGlove Pro Corporate representatives and they stated they have GutterGlove Pro panels installed in heavy snow areas in the U.S. and Canada and they do not fail, and have NEVER failed, like they did in the photos I sent them. I also spoke with the Best Buy Metals store manager for the location where the metal roofing came from and he mentioned the snow rails were not installed correctly. So, two of Cornerstone's suppliers said their products don't fail as ours did - one said in the history of their company they have never seen them fail like the ones installed on our house, which leads me to believe that the products were not installed correctly.

Cornerstone Construction after a period of time and a number of communications sent a representative out to survey the damage a little over a month after the failure occurred and I was told he would go back and discuss a corrective action plan. Two weeks passed with only one communication from Cornerstone, stating they were going to have another roofing representative (not a Cornerstone Construction employee) stop out to the house and look at the situation. We are now 4.5 weeks from when the Cornerstone Construction representative was at the house (10 weeks from when the failure of the products occurred) - and they have not communicated how they are going to correct the failed installations and products. Over 2 weeks ago and they said in discussions ""about what needs to be done not only to fix it but we want to make sure it doesn't happen again"". Communications with the customer are not proactive or very good and right now their Customer Service to stand behind their installation and products is lacking. A week ago, the owner stated in a reply to a Facebook review ""but we are still trying to help you."" and ""Albert called yesterday to discuss a solution & couldn't get ahold of anyone."" Despite saying both of those comments in two different replies - no one from the company has contacted us, so it seems like these statements are untrue.

I did notify my insurance company when Cornerstone FAILED to communicate with me that they were going to address the problems, just to make sure my insurance company was aware in a timely manner of the issues and if the owner of Cornerstone failed to step-up and stand behind his products and crew's installations. I should not have had to follow through with an insurance claim and have a claim on my record with my insurance company, when Cornerstone said it was in discussion ""about what needs to be done not only to fix it but we want to make sure it doesn't happen again"". That statement tells me, the customer, you are going to fix the problems so they won't happen again) and I shouldn't have to pay the deductible, and have that claim against my record with the insurance company. Apparently, when Cornerstone tells a customer they are determining what needs to be done NOT ONLY to fix it, but make sure it doesn't happen again - that is NOT the truth. ""Fix it"" to a customer means the issues are going to be corrected. The owner of Cornerstone mentioned a few times that this is an insurance claim - my personal belief, is since he was the ONLY distributor of the Gutterglove Pro panels in the area, that he expected he could get paid again (by my insurance company) to reinstall them correctly the second.

The owner of the company did reply to my Facebook review very quickly, but never replied a second time despite saying they attempted to contact me to ""discuss a solution"" - interesting despite having all my contact info they never reached out to me.....not surprising!

So, by not replying or contacting with me tells me that the owner of Cornerstone Construction DOES NOT WARRANTY his company's products, installations, or work. The gutter install started on June 4th '18 and weren't finished up with the GutterGlove Pro panels until July 26th - so I see that Cornerstone is telling their customers (at least us) can expect to have problems with their products
