Located in Medley, Florida, Construction Research Laboratory is the premier curtain wall testing facility in the world, capable of managing more than 30 wall mock-ups simultaneously.

Since 1955, Construction Research Lab has tested more than 3,500 full-scale curtain walls and an additional 3,500 windows, doors, roofs, and other related items for significant structures including the Sears Tower in Chicago, the World Trade Center in New York, Hong Kong Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong), the World Financial Center in Battery Park, New York, Canary Wharf in London, and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

Construction Research Lab operates as a full-scale research facility, concentrating on testing diverse building products, with a primary focus on air infiltration, water infiltration (static and dynamic), structural performance, interstory differential movement, seismic racking, impact resistance, thermal cycling, and condensation resistance.

With 38 test chambers ranging from 5 ft to 38 ft wide and over 40 ft high, the lab routinely performs tests that adhere to the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials, now ASTM International, the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), and the Florida Building Code for curtain walls, skylights, windows, and doors.

Renowned globally, the laboratory holds accreditation from the AAMA, Miami-Dade County, and the State of Florida.
