As a child, I watched my father repair everything around our home. If anything was thrown away, such as a TV or car, he would salvage it and bring it back to life. I recall one Christmas when he crafted a full replica of Santa Claus in his sleigh, complete with lights, and placed it on our roof. To me, he was not just handy; he was a genius! I aspired to be like him, but being a girl in the 50s posed challenges. So, I set aside my dreams and pursued a college education. Upon finishing at the top of my high school class, I joined Corporate America. During weekends and free time, I honed my skills in different trades. Over thirty years, I completed numerous home improvement jobs and ultimately started my own business—Concierge Renovations.
