We have worked with Bob, at Competition Roofing, in the past so we naturally called him when we developed more leaks in our thirty year old roof. He came out within a day to check out our situation and give us our options. We went with a total re-roofing this time. The price was well within reason and we had already experienced the professionalism of Bob, Pauline and his crew. They arrived on schedule and worked 7 a.m. till 6 p.m. every day until the work was finished. They were completely self-sufficient. I didn't have workmen running in and out for bathroom breaks, no loud music, no shouting to each other and they cleaned up each evening before they left for the day. Their work ethic is very rare and truly appreciated. After the job was finished, Bob stopped by to make sure we were happy and to encourage us to call him immediately should we have any concerns. I would recommend Competition Roofing to anyone looking for an excellent company and a hassle-free experience.

If you do honor your warranty, why didn't you respond to our calls and messages? Anyway, it's a good thing you didn't because someone else has prooven the error in your installation and fixed it. With the recent rain, after the repair was done we are not having the leak problem anymore and we're dealing now with fixing the drywall. Thanks but no thanks Bob.

As a frequent user of Yelp, I hired Competition Roofing based on its outstanding Yelp reviews. Bob responded to my residence to provide an estimate on a re-roofing job I needed on my two- story home. I had already received other estimates from roofing contractors so I was well informed on estimated cost, work completion time frame, etc. They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. My first impression of Bob was that he was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly, ethical. I hired Bob and never looked back. His crew arrived as scheduled and appeared to be equally as knowledgeable as Bob. Bob ensured the inspector responded to inspect the roof job during the process and after the completion for sign off. This was a no stress job for me completed by Competition Roofing. The job was completed in a timely manner, clean and professional. I would highly recommend Competition Roofing to anyone looking for a professional roofing job.

I decided to hire a contractor base on Yelp reviews and it turned out as good as I had hoped. In addition to great Yelp reviews Competition Roofing has also won a couple years of Best of Alta Loma business awards. The workers showed up on time and cleaned up after every day of work. Bob and his crew were courteous and willing to do any additional adjustments I requested. Bob recommended an Air conditioning company that I used that turned out to have excellent Yelp ratings. I got my roofing, air conditioning system, and a solar system installed in one week because Bob coordinated so well with the other crafts. I don't know how you could hire a roofing contractor that would do a better job.

We just had a new roof put on and I highly recommend Competition Roofing. They answered all our questions, were always on time, finished the job as promised and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. All their employees were pleasant and helpful. Bob is extremely easy to talk to and is very knowledgeable. The roof looks great and, since it's rained since it was finished, I can say watertight. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I was referred to Bob at Competition Roofing by my exterminator, Terry from Victory exterminating company. I called for an appointment for an estimate. I spoke to Pauline who stated they had an appointment available the next day. I took it. Bob showed up on time. He was friendly, helpful and professional. He inspected and measured my roof. He discussed a couple of options with me. He stated he would send me quote for the 2 options we discussed after he got back to the office. I received his estimates. He called me the next day to follow up with me to see if I received the quotes and if I had any questions. Bob answered my questions and concerns. I made a decision and called Bob back to see when he could get started. I emailed him my approval for the job. Bob gave me a timeline, which he and his crew kept to. Bob pulled the permits with the city of West Covina. His crew showed up on time and ready to work. They were all friendly and professional. During the process I called Bob and had him add 2 additional O' Hagen attic fans to the garage, which he did at a reasonable additional cost. The replacement of my roof was done as per his timeline and as per our agreement. The work was done in a clean and professional manner. Pauline was very friendly and helpful as well. She advised how to register my CertainTeed Presidential roof warranty online. I highly recommend Bob and Competition roofing to anyone that needs a new roof. As a matter of fact I referred my cousin to them.

I first met Bob to discuss the job and he was professional and courteous. He explained all costs to me and some of the problems that could arise from my job. His honesty has been unmatched by any worker I have hired to date. His crew was very professional and friendly and finished the job on time. I didn't have to worry about inspectors, permits, or supplies. All that was taken care of by Bob. Bob and Pauline are wonderful to work with. We were a little surprised at how expensive roofs are! I did a lot of research, and while I had one lower offer, I am extremely glad we went Competition Roofing. I want a company that stands behind its work, and Bob came out before the building inspector, and made sure everything was done well and clean.

They pulled the permit and scheduled the inspector to come out. We didn't have to do any other work. Bob wasn't above telling me issues we might have in the future if we didn't make some additional minor repairs, and I appreciated that, rather than be concerned I may suspect price inflation. He was patient and very clear with what needed to be fixed if we planned to be in our home for a long time, and we do. When searching for a company like this, make sure you pick Competition Roofing: when there are warranties involved spanning decades, you want a company that has been around for years, has excellent reviews, and will be around in the future. In fact, I trust them enough that I continue to stay in contact to ask for other contractors and service providers they trust.

10 OUT OF 5! They just finished my roof and attic insulation last week! the roof looks absolutely amazing and the house is at least 10 degrees cooler after they installed insulation. Bob is such a honest man and every business should run like he runs his. I asked five or more quotes before I hired Bob and his team. People lied and quoted me super high because of the area that I live in. Bob came and pointed out the problems of my old roof and gave me a super reasonable price. He was honest and sincere during the inspection. Once I decided to hire them, I realized that I needed to be in London for a business trip during the time we scheduled for the work. Called Bob and his wife Pauline again and they assured me that everything would be okay even if I wouldn't be at home. They emailed me on the progress regularly. After I came back, the work was done and my yard was all cleaned up. I highly recommend them!
