Competition Roofing just did a job for us this week. All I can say is that this company is FANTASTIC! Do not hesitate to call them with any roofing issues. They are the best! Here are the reasons: I called and made an appointment for an estimate. Bob came out at the scheduled time. So many companies have excuses why they can't make it, or they will be late. Not Bob, he was right on schedule. The estimate he gave us was very fair. Bob is so knowledgeable about roofs and so is his wonderful crew. They did an awesome job for us! My husband loved the work they did for us. Very professional team came out and got the job done right on schedule.
If you need a roofing company, Competition is the one to call. I actually found Competition Roofing from Yelp. I read the reviews and decided to call them. So happy I did. So is my husband!

From the estimate to the completion of the project, I was extremely satisfied with the way Competition Roofing handled everything.. The crew that did the work were amazing.. When they were finished, there was no trace of them being here... Kyle, Bob and Pauline were extremely personable and professional. They didn't try to over sell, nor pressure me into anything... I didn't even get another estimate.. I felt extremely comfortable with their price and the fact that they were a local family business sold me on them..

Bob was a gem from day one through the project completion. Always concerned of the perfect job all the way through. I must say this also , I called him back 3-4 months later after giving me the price for a go and he said without hesitation I will hold the price. He said and I knew cost had gone up do to the demand. He said that is OK I will honor the price.
His team was wonderful from day one and the job was perfect .

After four bids, I decided to go with competition roofing for a new roof based mainly on the Yelp reviews from previous customers as well as competitions many certifications. As I waited for my projected install date, I checked with the State Contractors License Board and found NO complaints and all proper licensing up to snuff. Pauline, in the office was very pleasant and provided me (had delivered) with a bunch of requested roof samples. The bid through completion was seamless and overall a great experience. Bob, Kyle and their install crew are awesome hardworking fair people. Did I mention a 10 year warranty? Use this company, you won't be disappointed!

I would to have echo the previous reviews for Competition Roofing: courteous, honest, fairly priced,kept us informed during the job, job was completed on time (in spite of a rain day on 9/15) - overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

If zero stars was available, I would leave zero stars. My husband made an appointment with Competition Roofing to have one of their technicians to come out to our house on Saturday between 9AM and 10AM for an estimate. The technician never showed up nor did he call to convey that he decided not to show up. I called their company the last two days because I really wanted to understand their lack of professionalism but I could not get a live person to actually answer the phone and stay on the line. Someone would always pick up and immediately hang up. I am disappointed that this company had received such high ratings but ultimately was unresponsive.


To respond to the comment left by Competition Roofing: You are correct my husband did leave a message indicating that we no longer needed your service AFTER your technician failed to show up and did not communicate that to us. I called your company in the days to follow to try to understand why a company that is so highly rated ended up being unprofessional.

I just had my roof replaced by Competition Roofing. Rather than throw another layer on our existing roof, like the other roofing contractors wanted to do, Bob Currie suggested a tear off of the existing roof. His bid was fair and reasonable. Bob's bid with the tear off, was even under what some of the OTHER roofer's bids were for adding a second layer onto the existing roof!

I have an older home, so there were some things that needed to be replaced. Also, the existing plywood was not properly nailed down. Competition Roofing took care of all that and now my roof is up to code -- the total was not much more than the bid. I am very happy with the outcome!

I am glad I chose Bob Currie and his crew to do our roof. They are professional and the job was done in the time frame given. I have already begun recommending this company to our friends and neighbors.

Many thanks to Competition Roofing for the excellent job they did on my home and detached garage. I am also thankful to Yelp for allowing people to give their honest reviews about a company, which enabled me to find and ultimately hire Bob from Competition Roofing to do the job.

I had terrible experience with the competition roof company and its owner Bob Currie. They charged me more than $14400. 00 for 2100 sq ft roof area. they did a very mediocre job and cheated customer on materials. They used the narrowest drip edge metal and valley metal on the places where you cannot see when you stand on the ground. When I went up to the roof a few months after the roof replacement, I discovered them. Also their craftsmanship is very poor. They were not careful. They hammered the nails everywhere on the beam. I really dislike their job. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Of course city inspector will sign off. Do they care about whether Bob Currie cheated his customers or Bob Currie's craftsmanship is poor?
