We just had our 1964 roof done. My husband and I enjoyed working with Competition Roofing Company, but we cannot recommend them enough. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, their team was professional and efficient. We are satisfied with the service; thank you to Frankie, Zad, and the crew; they are hard-working guys who cared about our concerns or questions during the project process. The only downside is that we didn't get the special offer ""Competition Roofing 2"" advertised on their website. Despite that, it was worth it. We love the GAF charcoal color!

With the torrential rains the past two years, our roof took a beating and was leaking water into our home. Like a lot of other Californians, we had to quickly find a licensed roofing company to replace our roof.

We had several referrals from our friends and neighbors for different roofing companies; however, my husband with his trust issues needed to do his own research of which company to go with. He scheduled consultations with several roofing companies, and out of all of them, we felt most comfortable with Competition Roofing. What sealed the deal was how honest and detailed Kyle was during the initial estimate. My husband mentioned that he learned something about roof installation through Kyle's explanations compared to his other consultations, and how Kyle genuinely cared about how roofs should be installed (even if we were to go with a different company). Their pricing was also fair compared to other roofers and the scope of work.

Communication was very easy with the team, and they have always responded promptly to our questions. They gave us referrals for different homes in our area to check out their work, so we made it a field trip with our children to try to spot the different colored shingles on the roofs.

As the installation date got closer, the team was in close contact with us due to unexpected rains affecting our start date. Although they quoted up to a week for installation, their team was able to complete the job in 3 days, just in time before a severe thunderstorm. My husband and I can now sleep soundly without fear of our home breaking down from rain.

Recently, our skylight dome was damaged due to heavy winds. When Competition Roofing heard about the issue, they helped install a new one for us the same day. Normally large home projects are stressful experiences, but I've been at ease with how professional and responsive Bob, Kyle, and their entire crew have been. You can tell they really take pride in and stand by their work. I am grateful that my husband did his research and picked a great company to do work with.

I have used Competition Roofing for over twenty years,
Bob Currie and his employee have always completed repairs and a new roof as quoted. We live on a golf
course and he checks for broken tiles every two or three
years. I called him and he inspected my roof the next
morning, no roof problems however he identified a small
Pinwhole in a copper water pipe. My plumber said I was
lucky to find this problem before it caused any damage.

I had a unique roof leak problem that other contractors tried to fix, but didn't. I called Competition Roofing because they are local and have many years of experience. They have been great to work with. Very quick to respond. Quick to come inspect the problem. Quick to provide a detailed bid. It did take a while for them to get to my repair, but I was told upfront that they were extremely busy and given it was not the rainy season I was ok with the wait.

The repair was completed and the crew was thorough, polite, and took care to clean up all the roof debris.

Months later, on a very rainy day, a window near the repaired area was leaking. I called Competition Roofing and Bob was at my house within an hour. After looking at the leaking window he found the seal around the window was compromised. Even though the window was technically not part of the repair, he offered to reseal it at no additional cost. A couple of days later, Competition Roofing was back at my house and applied sealant to the window.

I didn't need a whole new roof and they never tried to sell me anything more than what I needed. When I do need a whole new roof, I will be calling them.

I had a portion of my cement tile roof redone. Kyle C one of the family owners clearly explained so it made sense to me why I required repair and how their work would be done and guaranteed. Their pricing for any additional materials above the estimate was easily understood. The timeline estimate for being able to start and complete the job was accurate. I found the workers to be friendly and exhibit the same interest in customer satisfaction with the job as I had hoped. The follow up by owner, Bob, was appreciated and I feel as if I had definitely made the right choice in roofers!
