Please use someone else. I had a TPO roof put on my mobile home September 2018. They closed off vents on end of mobile home said we didn't need them for ventilation. Now heat from roof enters through bathroom fan and bathroom very hot. Roof holds heat. Called and she tells me we get ventilation from soffets told her we don't have soffets . Tells me a charge of $300.00 dollars for them to come out and look at it. He didn't have a problem driving to my house to sell the job but now that he has his money he could careless. He never showed his face to see how job was completed. Please get someone else. They obviously don't care. Workers also dented in siding with ladder. It seems no one cares once they are paid. Very disappointed with them find someone else even if you have to pay more.

I have a roof that has failed installed by Comfort seat back in 2003.So far i am not getting any where with them replacing it. When they want a job they come running, when you need them to repair they take there time. The house will be flooded by the time they get around to looking at it.

I had a roof put on 10 years ago by comfort seal. Guaranteed for life. I have many leaks. It has been leaking slowly unbeknown to me I have insurance. But water damage is not covered the leaks now are dripping fast now. I called another roofer to see what to do. As comfort wants$300.00. Just to look at it. They also want to add labor. They were very rude. The cover they put on is sopping. Wet and has to be removed there is mildew coming in bothering my allergies. They do not play fair. I cannot afford anew roof

BEWARE: I signed a contract with Comfort Seal and put half the money down ($11,221) to replace my roof. I was unable to get the company owner to commit to a schedule for the repairs, and his communications became increasingly unprofessional. After almost two months with the repairs not begun, I was told by Comfort Seal's owner to ""go find another contractor."" Surprised by this response, I asked for the return of my deposit, which he refused. I subsequently took him to arbitration, where it was confirmed that he had breached the contract and was ordered on March 18, 2014, to make a payment to me within 30 days. He has not abided by this ruling. I have spent far more on legal fees than I will ever recover from the arbitration judgment even if Comfort Seal abides by that binding decision. As a community service, I am sharing this story. Had I had a clue of any of this at the outset, I would never have done business with Comfort Seal.

[The following is response to the Comfort Seal libel posted below]

Wow. This is the type of erratic behavior you can expect if you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with this guy and his company. So to hit some of his low points: if I'm the con man, I'm not a very good one seeing as he has my money, and I don't. Insurance fraud? No, not true. A lawyer and an arbitrator ""fixing"" the result of an $11K case? Really?! No. And the only assault here is his assault on the truth. He can't handle the truth, but you can, and should know it. To that end - FACT: I wired $11,221 to Comfort Seal on 6 May 2013 as a 50% deposit on a roofing job. FACT: as ruled by the independent arbitrator, Comfort Seal ""terminated the contract between the parties on June 25, 2013"" with no work completed on my roof replacement, and the owner refused to return my deposit. FACT: because of all the delays caused by this situation before I could get a terrific local roofing contractor to complete the job, the interior of my house suffered more than $40,000 of additional water damage. Shout out to State Farm of Florida - they were wonderful and covered all these repairs, less my deductibles. Please do business with them! FACT: Comfort Seal was required to ""pay to the Claimant [that's me] the sum of $8,094 within thirty (30) days of the date of this award."" That 30-day date passed on 11 April 2014, with of course, no payment received. I could go on, but you can read this and decide for yourselves. Oh, but there is one last VERY IMPORTANT FACT: Comfort Seal is under investigation by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the State Government agency responsible for licensing and monitoring contractors and other service providers. If you have been victimized by this man or his company, please contact the DBPR Tampa office at 813-233-4419 and reference Case 2014018872 to make a report to the investigator in charge of the case. Together we can weed out unscrupulous contractors, while doing business with the hard working, deserving men and women of our communities.
