I had Columbus Seamless, Inc. installed a steel/metal roof with a lifetime warranty on our home on September 19, 2014 for $15,162.33 in which said steel/metal roof leaked at least 13 times and Columbus Seamless refused to replace or resolve. I had to replace his leaking roof myself last month at my cost because Steven Jenkins, the owner of Columbus Seamless, did not nor does he still not accept any type of responsibility for his leaking metal roof. I had to get my attorney involved in which then Steven Jenkins decided and agreed to pay me for less than half of the cost of the metal roof, which I agreed to, so as to end this dilemma. However later than same day, Steven Jenkins went back on his agreement to pay and reneged on his word. I am now having to take Columbus Seamless/Steven Jenkins to court for resolution.

Since the installation of this steel/metal roof on our home by Columbus Seamless, we encountered events of water leaking from said roof totaling a period of over 5 years. Columbus Seamless Inc. attempts to fix the leaks by doing additional work and repairs were unsuccessful. Also during this time, Mr. Steven Jenkins came out and stated that the leaks were not from the new installed steel/metal roof but from the adjacent aluminum patio roof and recommended that I replace the aluminum patio roof so as to stop the leaks from occurring. I agreed to do so based on his inspection, conclusion and recommendation and on November 9, 2015, Columbus Seamless Inc., replaced the aluminum patio roof at a cost of $8,739.36 with a composite patio roof and cover. The replacement of the new patio roof did not resolve the water leak problems and the steel/metal roof continued to leak.

When I replaced the steel/metal roof last month, April, 2021 with a reputable roofer, we found that Columbus Seamless had installed the steel metal roof with Ice and Water Shield roofing underlayment without removing the adhesive plastic backing, installed 2 different types of valleys on top of each other instead of 1 complete piece, did not remove the existing roof before installing the steel/metal roof, and screws were missing throughout the installation of the steel/metal roof. All this caused water damage and mold to the decking and rafters. Overall, all I have received from Steven Jenkins has been unfulfilled promises, excuses, and him going back on his word.

Unfortunately I had to give a rating of 1 star on this review, but it should be no stars. Do yourselves a favor and do not find yourselves in a similar situation. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well but this does not matter to the owner of Columbus Seamless. I am a Senior Citizen and an U.S. Army Veteran who feels that I have been taken advantage of in this situation.

Hired Columbus Seamless to install gutters on outdoor living room after ruining rugs because of rain seeping in. I also had them install the Leaf Logic gutter guards. My estimate was extremely reasonable. I cant say enough positive words to relay how hard working, reliable and professional Kevin and James were . Their work was exceptional and they did a very thorough clean up when they finished. I am beyond pleased with the finished project and just want it to rain now so I can see the difference in the dryness of my floor. I give them my highest recommendation.
