Shopping for a new roof? Let me give you my best recommendation. Save yourself time by just calling Collis Roofing. From the initial phone call to the installation of the roof and inspection, this company made the whole process as seamless as possible. After calling Collis roofing asking for a quote, I was lucky enough to have Kyle assigned as my roofing consultant. He called and texted me to set up a convenient time to inspect the roof and give a quote. Arriving promptly for our appointment, Kyle spent time personally not just giving me a quote, but explaining the process and materials used by Collis Roofing. He provided insight into what reroofing entails without any sales pressure. I was impressed by the time he took to explain as well as his knowledge of the reroofing process. Honestly, the quote I was given was not the least expensive, but it included quality materials and full disclosure of everything needed to replace my roof with figures that were upfront and easy to understand as well as an extended warranty. Another selling point for me was that Kyle would be my contact person throughout the entire process, so I knew I was guaranteed excellent communication. Following the initial meeting, I texted Kyle on numerous occasions with a variety of questions, all of which were answered promptly and courteously. At that point, I decided to hire Collis Roofing to replace my roof. True to his word, Kyle remained in contact with me to ensure that everything was working out. The first day that the roofers arrived, a 3 way text was set up with Chris, the job supervisor, Kyle and me so that I could be kept informed of the progress. This was such a wonderful way to let me know how the reroofing was going. When Chris became ill and had to leave the job, he texted to let me know that Jim would be taking over. I was so impressed by this communication and the follow through of these employees. Thank you, Chris and Jim. The roofing crew worked tirelessly for two long days and did a beautiful job. The roof looks gorgeous! This hard working crew also did a wonderful cleaning job when they left. Collis Roofing provided a beautiful roof, fabulous communication , and a seamless process from start to finish. No one looks forward to having a home reroofed, but Collis Roofing and the efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous employees will make the process as easy as possible. And a huge thank you to Kyle!!

For a company that touts its ""family-run business"" credentials, Collis Roofing certainly does not treat its customers like family. Fish rots from the head with this organization as far as their warranty coverage. After their incompetent warranty department dragged out my legitimate warranty claim (for multiple shingles repeatedly blowing off our roof) for over 3 months, I appealed to the CEO for help in getting the warranty process moving. Instead of an apology for the delays and horrible customer service, he told me the defective roof his company installed for our builder wasn't his problem and tried to charge me to honor the warranty specifications.

Had a leak around my chimney. Paid Collis $742 to repair it, but it still leaked. They sent out another guy to look at it, and he said it would be a bigger job than they thought. That was over 2 months ago. I keep calling and emailing, but they just ignore me, and won't even return my calls to give me an estimate. As of yesterday, I've given up and would just like to get a refund for the non-repair, and I'll call another company.

Collis is the roofing company that installed my roof for a dr Horton home. The tiles didn't have nails in many of them. We found a broken one in an area that you couldn't see but it was over 1 years old old so they have no desire to fix their mistakes. Also the concrete grout that they use for the tiles is cracking. Dont recommend them, they done even believe in their own product cause they only insure a 20 year roof for a year.

I needed three areas of my roof repaired and put a request in on Collis' website on Sunday Sep 24. Collis called first thing the next morning starting the repair process.
Adam showed up September 29 at 11 AM and inspected the areas needing repair and determined what needed to be done. Repair was completed Oct 12. Everyone was very professional and nice. I was kept informed of what needed to be done and when. The work was completed under warranty.

We've always used Collis. Their work is excellent. Their crews are clean, quiet and professional. This would have been a five star rating but there was a huge issue with getting them to provide a final bill and then getting them to process the check. The left hand, (office), didn't know what the right hand, (sales guy) was doing over there and I was stuck in the middle. While this won't stop me from going back to Collis, I will make sure these payment issues don't occur again.

Do not use this company. They want to charge me 1700.00 to repair their poor workmanship (all pre IAN, so not from Hurricane). They charged me 18K for a new roof that has done nothing but leak since. They left a hole in my ceiling from a nail gun that was never repaired. TERRIBLE COMPANY!! They have no problem taking your money, but don't want to fix their screw up's. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!

My friend, Hosea Crooms had to have his roof replaced from a guarantee. These people have stalled for over 1 year and are refusing to pay for materials in an attempt to reduce their obligation to my friend. A Mr. Jack Lambert said he inspected my friend's roof but never actually did the inspection after writing an inspection report that the roof was fine. A second inspector, did a follow-up inspection and found many problems with the roof after Mr. Lambert failed to actually inspect the roof. The roof is replete with bad wood as well as 2 bad pipe boots that still have to be replaced. There is also excessive condensation in the attic. Collin's is refusing to do anything more, until Mr. Crooms pays for materials, which is not part of the guarantee. These people are dishonest and are simply trying to wear my friend down, which will not happen.

There are also mold problems from the work.

I need a new roof, one I am going to pay for, not through insurance, so I requested an estimate from Collis and three other roofers for a metal roof. Collis was responsive and sent an estimator within a couple of days.
When I got their estimate, I couldn't believe it. They were $5,500 higher than the next closest estimate, and over $9,000 higher than the other two. Also, any plywood replacement with Collis is extra, whereas every other vendor included some plywood.

Needless to say, I didn't choose them. I expected some price differences, but definitely glad I got other estimates.
