This company has no clue. Roof they installed is now leaking for the fourth time! Office staff is RUDE, Roofers don't care and can't do the job!

So Sad. you see the TV ads and think your dealing with a proffessional company and instead you find out quickly its not so.
I called 3 months a go for a quote, the sales rep showed up, i spoke to him
in front of my residence and explained to him i was interested on a metal roof. He didn't even know what i was interested in although i specifically let the office staff know what i was interested in. The sales rep told me he would be better of checking my roof thru google maps since i was wanting a metal roof. O.K your the expert! NO SO... i've made 3 separate calls wanting the total on the estimate so i can set up the job, but all i get is ""ok ill have John the sales rep call you. STILL WAITING!!! i guess they are not interested in my business, but if this is the treatment a potential customer receives i cant even imagine how poor of service will be provided if there are any issues after the installation. Guess its time to look somewhere else.

Collis did a roof repair about 4 months ago, and then a larger leak appeared only a foot or so away from the original repair. They are saying it is in a different area. My concern is, if the leaks are that close in proximity, why didn't they see that area at the time of the other? I think they zeroed in on the first spot and the looked no further; apparently should have done a more complete inspection the first time so both spots could have been repaired at the same time. Their roof repair costs are not cheap. Extremely disappointed that they won't make it right or take any responsibility whatsoever that they MAY have missed something.
Hate writing bad reviews! Just want a company who will be loyal to their customers as we have been loyal to them. (They had previously installed the flat roof on the back of our home.)

People often come here looking for recommendations. I've done that in the past and have had great success. But I also want to warn you about what company not to recommend ...and that would be Collis Roofing. They gladly took our money 8 years ago when we needed a new roof. Now that we need someone to come out for a simple inspection they have repeatedly ignored my phone calls for days and are days past their 72 hour window to schedule an appointment. I highly suggest you go somewhere else for your roofing needs..

It seems others have had the same issue with horrible customer service communication skills. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Collis did a great job on my roof. The team was professional, quick, and efficient. Thank you! HOWEVER.... communication is bad. And I had to keep on top of every single step of the process, sometimes hammering people, which I'm not fond of doing. And don't believe any timeframe they give you. I was told 2 separate times gutters would be on ""within the week"". I said... are you sure ? We want to put our house on the market."" Again I was told... yeah yeah... you're good. So I sit here watching the rain pour down ruining landscaping and possibly lost a sale because people saw this happening. And.... still nothing on gutter replacement. So.... I do recommend them. But keep on them every step. And don't believe any timeframes they give. And get ready for the ""Godfather-type"" call you get asking for final payment even when work is not complete.

We called Collis and had an appointment to come to our home for an estimate and he never showed up or had the decency to even call to say they can't make it or to reschedule.

Collis Roofing out of Lakeland has taken my Elderly Parents insurance check and refuse to give them a new roof until my Parents pay them more money. My Father has tried to contact them by phone numerous times but gets ""No one is in the office to take your call""This has been going on for over a year My parents house is 900sq ft and they're holding a $10k insurance check. They replaced my roof back in 2018 charged my insurance company almost $20k for a 1100sq ft home. While replacing my roof the workers almost burnt my AC because they placed a tarp over my AC... I had to get a AC repair Man out and they never offered to pay the bill DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!

Do NOT under any circumstances use this company to do your roof. While the subcontactor they used to do the work did a good job replacing our roof after we had hurricane damage, the company itself is beyond shady and illegally cashed insurance checks made out to our bank who was also involved in the restoration process. After doing an assignment of benefits agreement, which specifically states that the company will accept the insurance payment as 100% payment in-full for the work, they then attempted to illegally bill and then harass us for an additional $6,500 in costs they say they incurred replacing roof decking. Illegally cashed checks that didn't have their company name on them, attempted to illegally bill us for additional costs. DO NOT even call them. You have been warned.

Avoid at all cost, terrible management throughout, they performed poorly on a project and were rude when asked to fix shoddy work issues with nails and seams; just call ANYONE else....

DISMAL operating skills for a ""family company."" Absolutely no management skills or follow up.
We scheduled an appointment for an evaluation and quote for repair of a roof leak and were given a window of 12pm - 4 pm on Friday 11/22/19. We were to expect ""Willie."" At 3:45pm I called the office to see when I might expect Willie to arrive. Gabriella, in repairs department, was going to let me know and I could expect a call back in 10 minutes. NO call back. At 4:10pm I call again and was told the vehicle was on its way to my house and call back at 4:30pm if it hadn't arrived. No one showed so I call back at 4:45pm and they have no idea where Willie is, and by the way, Gabriella has gone home for the evening. I would not recommend ANY dealings with this company.
