They came out to my house made a bunch of promises told me they would take charge of working with my insurance company and then stopped taking my calls after 2 months of back and forth....I wish I could give them 0 stars

We have a concrete tile roof installed by Collis about 5 1/2 years ago. We sold our house. During the inspection a few tiles were found to be loose and naturally we had to have those secured.

The repair crew were at our house for about 10 minutes to fix these few issues. We were charged $270! Ridiculously excessive.

The roof is a handsome roof. But, if you have a Collis roof, be sure to get an alternative quote before considering them to make any repairs.

Our builder contracted with them to install tile roof on our house. Underlayment was installed 6 1/2 months ago and have been unable to get them to return to install tiles. The UV exposure has exceeded the six month limit on exposed underlayment

They have promised at least a half dozen times to show up at a given date but always cancelled.

Avoid this company like the plague. Trying to communicate with the Jacksonville office is painful. Without exaggeration Collis Roofing may have the rudest and poorest customer service I have ever had to deal with.

Even if their work turns out to be exceptional, it would not be worth the pain of having to interact with them.

I called Collis Roofing in September 2017 to set up an inspection of my roof after the hurricane. I understood that they were busy with roofs that may have been damaged or needed complete replacement; and therefore was not dismayed when the receptionist took my name, address, and phone number and said someone would contact me in about a week. A couple weeks went by and no one from Collis Roofing contacted me. I called again and got the same response except this time I was told someone would contact me within a week. After about a week, I called a third time and received the same response. It is now the end of March 2018 and I am still waiting on Collis Roofing to call me. I think this experience is not the abnormal for Collis Roofing but the norm based on the other reviews I have read. They need to work on their customer service, reliability, and integrity.

I know Irma kept everyone very busy. I called the first of September to get on the list for a quote and roof repair. They said it would be 8 - 10 weeks. Ok no problem. Called again the end of november and was told they would contact me soon. Called in December and they told me I was on the top of the list now and they would contact me within a week . Called again at the end of December and was told they would be calling me back right away. It is now Febuary and still nothing. I am glad they are doing so good that they don't need the extra business.

Tried to contact them through their website then by phone. Never got a return call. So disappointing since I was referred to them. Not a good experience.

Unfortunately for me, this review is an easy one. I've owned two homes that have had roofs installed by Collis roofing. Both roofs had leaks. My current home has a roof installed by Collins's roofing and I had to have a whole section replaced costing me 1000s. I tried to get them out to look at it before I paid to have it repaired and they just kept telling me they would come out and they never did. Then, when I discovered another issue, I finally got them to come out. Granted it was weeks after making the appointment. When they finally came out, they observed the issue and blamed it on the framers. I then asked for a quote and they promised to have it right over to me. It has been over a month since they inspected the issue and I've called them twice for the quote, yet they still have not sent it. There are much butter options for new roofs and for roof repairs in my opinion.

I tried contacting them for a repair estimate and had trouble just getting anyone to respond. Then I waited for a month for someone to come out and weeks later I still have not received a repair estimate. Numerous calls and emails were answered with promises of a response but nothing. Don't waist your time and effort!!!

The worst thing I have ever experienced in customer service.

I requested to speak to a manager on multiple occasions, I tried through their reception, finance department, and was always rerouted to my sales contact.

They started a month late, didn't finish the job and then started demanding final payment, finished the job but left a mess and routed my gutters according to their mood rather than our agreed upon contract.

I caught them lying on several accounts and they denied them for months for no reason but I guess lethargy. After I bluntly called them out and showed evidence, they put in a half assed effort to remedy it, never apologizing for the lies they spent months defending.

4 months of agonizing communications and the project is finally complete. These guys do not respect their customers or themselves.

Piss poor communication. Zero follow up.

Do yourself a favor and go with a higher bid. These guys arent worth any cost savings.

I don't really have a beef with the work, which was pretty good. Once the job finally got started the crew showed up and worked like banshees. But this company's communication with its customers is really, really bad. That is, it got bad after I signed the contract. Everything goes through the ""estimator"" (salesman). No one else seems willing to talk with the customer, even an unhappy customer. My roof was completed a couple of months ago and I've yet to receive the warranty documents I was promised would be coming. The salesman keeps saying he'll look into it. I called again today and specifically said I'd rather talk with someone else who can get this matter cleared up and next thing I know the salesman is texting with more excuses and a promise to get back to me. It's pretty unprofessional behavior. When people say government should run like a business, they should specify a well-run business, not one that gives you the runaround.
