The day they were coming out to start work on our roof, they called and told us they measured the roof wrong and didn't include the whole other side and it would cost us $6,000 more. They wanted us to make a decision right then and there with the roofers sitting at our house. We told them hell no. Corrupt or just incompetent, you decide.

This was a project started and completed the end of 2018. I did not rate them on Yelp at the time. I am in the Rescue/Shingle Springs area and was having a very difficult time finding a contractor here in the foothills that would even give me a quote. Cobex was a lifesaver!

The Cobex Construction Group experience was great. Dave Palmer kept me informed. Although we were scheduled to start our project in January, they were able to move it up the first part of December. This was a lifesaver for us, as we had a houseful coming for the holidays. They successfully and professionally finished a week before my guests started arriving. Alex and his crew were great. He discussed with me what they were doing and when they expected to finish. Very pleased with their work!

A tree feel on our house in Pollock Pines. I contacted 7 roofing companies and only Cobex would take a look. There is no driveway and it made the work that much tougher. They had to repair 5 trusses and we had the whole roof done. Great job and looks beautiful!!

It started with a garage wall my son backed into. Also the fence connected to the wall. Impressed.
Went on to the roof. Fantastic.
Then the paint. Beautiful.
They were nothing more than professionel all the way through.
Cleaned up at the end of everyday.
Only flaw there was a bit of broken English. The the work was amazing.

Scheduled an appointment for a roof inspection while at the Lodi Grape Festival last weekend. They were a no show to the appointment. No call, no email, nothing. Very disappointing.

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the cost of the project was exhorbitantly high. They do a fabulous job (so I'm not disputing that), just thought the charge for the new closet doors was a bit expensive as it only took Dave less than 2 hours to complete a perfect job.
The person who completed the work was Dave who did a wonderful job, was efficient, pleasant and cleaned up the mess.
They are expensive, but well worth it.

Follow up on Cobex construction company. Over the past few weeks, we have received some many glowing comments from friends and neighbors? about the? remodeling of our kitchen, french doors in our family room with access to a central courtyard with new flowing steps. Installation of beautiful Brazilian Quartz countertops with no seams, glass tile backsplash, new electrical switches, new designer cooktop hood, dishwasher, and microwave. Repair to weather damaged doors and full replacement of gutters and an amazing ""Cool Coat"" exterior paint finish. We recently replaced the double ovens and the commercial refrigerator.

It is a joy to come home every day and see how beautiful, and open the Cobex team, (Vaz, Alex, and the entire crew) has made our home. All of our friends love all of the work and the difference it made. Two close realtor friends have commented on the amazing improvements and increased value Cobex created for our home.

Their excellent workmanship, on-time service, clean up and follow up to ensure everything is to our satisfaction has been excellent.

We are very happy with our experience with Cobex. Julian was kind and friendly and was prompt for our appointments. He went over everything in detail. The roof ended up being a lot more than anticipated but it was at not fault to the company. The roof was old and they did an amazing job of getting it done and helping with financing. They even came back when we had money left over to do the siding. Its like we have a new house ! Sergey is professional and knows what he is doing. Everyone who worked on our house was courteous and they cleaned up every single night even though I told them they didnt need to. If doing repairs or building always count for 10-12% increase in cost. They cannot tell the damage until they tear the layers away. If you plan ahead you always are better off. Thank you Cobex !!!!
