We had arranged an appointment in 2024, but Cobex Construction Group failed to show up as scheduled. What's more, they did not even provide a call to inform us that they would not be able to make it, leaving me waiting without any prior notice or explanation.

Made an appointment for them to inspect my roof after noticing a leak, and they never showed. They asked to reschedule it, and again never showed for that appointment. When I finally reached out a third time and blocked off a 3rd day from work to be available for them, again, they never showed.

The ABSOLUTE most terrible construction group we've ever! The salesperson lied about knowing how to install our large sliding glass door to the degree that they couldn't even figure out if they had the correct parts or not. He also lied about Cobex knowing how to do a quality siding job. It looked like a child did parts of our siding. They fixed some of those bad cuts, but left caulking smudges all over the entire house so that it looks permanently under construction. When their painter was here, he said Cobex TOLD him NOT to fix that. We had another company redo our deck, and do some concrete work. Cobex stained and dented our new deck, stained our new concrete stairs and pathway, they dented our new porch door, ruined some of our landscaping, and left lots of trash and nails. In fact, 2 of my snow tires were punctured by nails they left after they said they had cleaned them up. When something was done terribly, depending on the person you talk to, their answer was, ""Well it can't be perfect."" No one was asking for perfect. Very concerning was that they did not put the weather proofing under our new slider, or to the sides of it, leaving it to rot, and causing our project to be halted for months. Cobex is supposed to come fix all these issues, but only pretends they will fix it. They have continuously no-showed week after week. Some things were not done to code and need to be fixed. Save yourself, and do NOT hire Cobex for anything! They are not qualified to do many of the jobs they will claim they know how to do, then abandon you once they have most of your money. They do NOT stand by their work, but will just keep saying they are coming to fix it FOREVER, and not show up.

We just got our new roof installed and I love it. It's not only that the roof itself is more energy efficient but they added low profile vents and created good airflow and things our old house just didn't have. I also appreciate that they did the work very fast and had good communication with us from beginning to end. It was a lot of money, but we got more than one quote and since theirs was just about the same as the others, but I felt like it was a better value and company, we went with them and I'm glad we did. Note that the roofing colors look different in the samples vs in the sunlight so be sure to look at online pictures of completed houses. We went with a darker color that actually looks pretty light in the sun. I'm glad they explained that to us.

Hired Cobex, based on a referral from a friend, to do a large job including roof, solar, windows, and siding. Stan took several hours explaining everything and providing a very competitive quote. The results reflect a craftsmanship that is honestly really rare these days, and I'm so happy I discovered these guys! I was looking for a wooden patio door and sidelight, rather than a slider, which I special ordered from ETO Doors in LA and had Cobex install, and they did a fantastic job on that too. Thank you Cobex for all your hard work=)

Do not sign a contract with this company until someone with construction experience has looked at it.

There are two things at play here, a roofing company that does good work on roofs, and a roofing company that can't get anything else straight.

Our relationship with Cobex has been long and arduous. Given the choice to do it again, I would stay far away from them.

Negative Motivation begets negative reviews. I just received a Mechanics Lien on my home because of Cobex. The issue is that they are billing me $1000 too much, and I have contacted their sales VP and account manager(5/16 and 5/30), the workers that serviced my home, or anyone who can help. I received no replies despite having a simple 2 page contract that says exactly how much I owe. It is very clear.

Other than their back office mistakes, their painting team was the worst I have ever seen. Their ""team"" showed up late each day, with two guys in two vans. I swear this isn't a riddle. The first guy would get out of his van and put around all day doing little and the second guy would put in a little bit of work before disappearing until after lunch. When I called to talk to leadership, they said they would put more guys on it so it would get done faster. That never happened, and the guys got even worse. At the end of the job, I walked around and showed the very obvious mistakes, but am still expected to pay with an extra rack on top. That's fine, I really don't mind paying up just to get them out of our lives for good, but I'm not paying that $1000 overage.

This will get sorted out with Dmitriy Matushevskiy, as his name is on the Lien. But I wanted to take the frustration and disappointment I felt today, and channel it towards helping others.

Do yourself a favor and go with a company that has an established track record of success, that doesn't bribe customers for positive yelp and google reviews.
