I guess the issues in previous posts were addressed by the owner and the workers trained properly, because this was a great experience with a roofing company. Excellent communication prior to install, both written via email for schedule and what I needed to do prior for materials delivery, clear driveway, and during install, the project manager was on site during the install and reviewed any damage issues needing to be addressed and their carpenter foreman took care of it in masterful fashion. I was highly impressed with the workmanship and teamwork during the day. Arrived on site by 7 and finished around 6, same day. Cleaned up the area very well. Saw the same actions previously when they roofed houses down the street. So glad to choose these folks.

If you want confidence that your roof is installed properly and to code, look elsewhere.

I thought it would be fun to video tape the installation of my roof and create a time lapse recording. Turned out it would capture numerous instances of this contractor installing the roof improperly. It wasn't installed to the manufactures instructions or to Florida Building Code. There were so many issues in fact, the only choice was for them to completely remove the newly installed roof and reinstall it. Had it not been for the video, these issues would have never been discovered. Once the shingles are installed, everything is covered up and hidden but the issues would have led to property damage over time and the inability to withstand storm conditions we experience in our area. In addition to not being code compliant, there was a small section they didn't even remove the original underlayment (or install new underlayment) they just installed new shingles directly over the old underlayment which is fraud. I seriously doubt the issues I experienced are isolated and limited to only me. After speaking to the owner, he admitted to installation practices that do not conform to code as confirmed by the manufacture, Okaloosa building department, and others. The installers were aware they were being recorded so clearly it was SOP. They also damaged my stucco thanks to careless workers who were literally swinging the shingle remover to loosen shingles on the flashing and hit the stucco multiple times breaking the coating. They got tar all over my driveway by not having a tarp down, broke my gutter and I ended up with water damage to my ceiling because they wanted to finish in a single day instead of stopping work and tarping it during an hour long downpour.

I watched three other roofing companies install new roofs in my neighborhood and none of them had the issues I experienced (Their installations were also code compliant).

I wish Negative stars was a thing. They must be cheap and they definitely don't care about your property or your neighbors. At least that's the impression I got. My property manager used them for the house I rent. Coastal Roofing did not put any tarps down to catch what they threw down. Leaving my yard a mess and nails for my dogs to find They dumped all kinds of waste into my house after ripping out and covering up sky lights. I called them because no one on sight seemed to be in charge or have the ability to talk to me. At least giving me a heads up to the mess. No one returned my phone call or care to acknowledge it. They also left Plenty of nails and trash. Thankfully I had a neighbor with the metal broom to pick up what they left for my dogs to step on or a tire to catch. They don't have any respect to the person living inside because the next morning before 0700 they had blocked me in. I had no idea they where staring. They show up with no heads up. Now my neighbor is using them and they again leaving trash to blow everywhere. They decided to park in my driveway and block the entire court making it hard for anyone to leave or enter. Not a fan of this unprofessional company.
Lastly they use a blower to blow garbage towards other people's homes. No one walking warping cleaning up what ends up in your neighbors yard.

I bought an older home which needed to be updated, but was located in the perfect location. I needed siding replaced and a new roof. The contractor I hired to replace the siding recommended Coastal Roofing to complete the re-roof. After I told my neighbor, he suggested Coastal Roofing as well and showed me an area of his roof they replaced after a previous roofer did a poor job.
I have a fairly large two story home with a steep pitch, and Coastal Roofing came out and completed my re-roof in TWO DAYS! They moved all of my outside furniture, covered my plants to prevent damage, installed new boards, a membrane underlay, and beautiful dark shingles on the home along with three new skylights. Afterward, they cleaned up as if no one had ever been there and my beautiful new roof just appeared by itself. They even ran a powerful magnetized push cart around the entire home to ensure there were zero nails left anywhere in the yard. It looks as if nothing but the roof were ever touched!
Highly recommend Coastal Roofing! They are definitely the best and most professional in the area!
