Company Overview

Our company offers a wide range of roofing solutions. We focus on custom homes featuring natural slate and clay tile roofs, as well as standard residential shingle roofs. Additionally, we serve as a commercial roofing contractor and are certified installers for many of the nation’s leading material manufacturers in B.U.R., single-ply, coatings, PSF, tapered and rigid insulation systems, and sheet metal. We provide $1M in workers' compensation and $2M in general liability insurance to give our customers added security and reassurance. Our team is experienced with certified payroll for prevailing wage jobs as needed.

In 1991, two founders established Coastal Roofing and thrived in the custom home sector, but by 1996, they had both transitioned to other careers.

Andy Witham revitalized Coastal Roofing Co. in 1999, returning to the custom home market just like the original founders. Andy was able to retain many of the original staff to maintain our high-quality standards.

Today, we proudly consider ourselves the largest small roofing company in the area. We have cultivated an excellent reputation and a dedicated customer base that spans over two decades. We provide roofing solutions of all kinds, including repairs, maintenance, and new or existing residential and commercial roofing. The Coastal Roofing team is skilled in installing intricate clay tile, slate, cedar, standing seam, composition, synthetics, coatings, sheet metal, PS foam, single-ply, B.U.R., tapered systems, and more. We believe that no project is too large or too small.

Andy, a native of Indiana, has lived in Huntington Beach for over 40 years. He graduated from Huntington Beach High School and attended San Diego State and Cal State Fullerton. His passion lies in family time, and he enjoys beach outings, surfing, sailing, camping, cooking, and traveling.

Andy began his journey at Coastal Roofing in 1992 as a laborer and apprentice. In 1999, he became the owner of Coastal Roofing and has since expanded the business into various markets with fresh roofing solutions.

My favorite aspect of working at Coastal Roofing is the opportunity to hire many people and learn about their individual talents, families, and personalities. It brings me joy to see them apply their skills and advance in both their careers and personal lives.

Coastalroofinginc.com is currently doing my neighbors roof. Just know if you hire them, they could cause a lot of damage to your neighbors home.

We live next to the ocean with a prevailing west wind. Coastalroofinginc showed total disregard for my property, promised to clean and did not. I asked the project manager to protect my property and he said he ""didn't have to."" All of this on camera.

I have spent three days cleaning the inside and outside of my property. I still need to have it professionally cleaned. The project manager did not suggest we cover furniture, close windows or anything.

I have to have my window manufacturer come and check my windows because dust from the unprotected project is entering my window seals.

The attached photos will give you just a small idea of the damage they cause. Damaged windows, tile, ruined furniture....the list goes on.

Besides the damage to my property, I am probably most disgusted by the amount of waste they directed to the ocean just a hundred yards or so away. I took drone footage of this.

I made sure and put my security cameras in good locations and caught two days of this on 3-4 cameras. That's 648,000 stills per hour. At least I have that.
