Company Overview

We deliver full-scale roofing services. We focus on custom homes featuring natural slate and clay tile roofs, as well as standard residential shingle roofs. We also act as a commercial roofing contractor and are certified to install products from top manufacturers in B.U.R., single-ply, coatings, PSF, tapered and rigid insulation systems, and sheet metal. We maintain $1M in workers' compensation insurance and $2M in general liability coverage to enhance our clients' security and peace of mind. We understand certified payroll processes for prevailing wage work when necessary.

In 1991, Coastal Roofing was launched by two gentlemen who succeeded in the custom home industry, but by 1996, they had both pursued other opportunities.

Andy Witham revitalized Coastal Roofing Co. in 1999, returning to the custom home market just like the original founders. Andy was able to retain many of the original staff to maintain our high-quality standards.

We now view ourselves as the biggest little roofing company in the community. We have cultivated an excellent reputation and a dedicated customer base that spans over two decades. Our services encompass all types of roofing, from repairs and maintenance to new and existing residential and commercial projects. Our team can handle complex installations of clay tile, slate, cedar, standing seam, composition, synthetics, coatings, sheet metal, PS foam, single-ply, B.U.R., tapered systems, and beyond. We believe that no project is too large or too small.

Born in Indiana, Andy has called Huntington Beach home for more than four decades. After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, he went on to study at San Diego State and Cal State Fullerton. He values family time and loves spending his free moments at the beach, surfing, sailing, camping, cooking, and exploring new places.

In 1992, he joined Coastal Roofing as a laborer and apprentice. He took ownership of Coastal Roofing in 1999 and continues to grow the business into new markets with innovative roofing solutions.

My favorite aspect of working at Coastal Roofing is the opportunity to hire many people and learn about their individual talents, families, and personalities. It brings me joy to see them apply their skills and advance in both their careers and personal lives.
