Company Overview

We are a comprehensive roofing service provider. We focus on custom homes featuring natural slate and clay tile roofs, as well as standard residential shingle roofs. Moreover, we are a commercial roofing contractor and certified installers for several major material manufacturers, covering B.U.R., single-ply, coatings, PSF, tapered and rigid insulation systems, and sheet metal. We provide $1M in workers' compensation and $2M in general liability insurance to give our customers added security and reassurance. We understand certified payroll processes for prevailing wage work when necessary.

In 1991, two founders established Coastal Roofing and thrived in the custom home sector, but by 1996, they had both transitioned to other careers.

Andy Witham revitalized Coastal Roofing Co. in 1999, returning to the custom home market just like the original founders. He brought back several previous team members to ensure a commitment to quality.

Currently, we see ourselves as the largest small roofing firm in town. Our outstanding reputation and customer loyalty have developed over the past twenty years. We offer a variety of roofing services, including repairs, maintenance, and both new and existing residential and commercial roofing. Our team can handle complex installations of clay tile, slate, cedar, standing seam, composition, synthetics, coatings, sheet metal, PS foam, single-ply, B.U.R., tapered systems, and beyond. We hold the belief that every job, big or small, deserves our full attention.

Andy, a native of Indiana, has lived in Huntington Beach for over 40 years. He completed his education at Huntington Beach High School before attending San Diego State and Cal State Fullerton. His passion lies in family time, and he enjoys beach outings, surfing, sailing, camping, cooking, and traveling.

In 1992, he joined Coastal Roofing as a laborer and apprentice. He made Coastal Roofing his own in 1999 and has been expanding into new markets with innovative roofing options ever since.
