Works no good and they don't work but an hour or two a day if they show up at all. Larry took $900.00 and didn't do the work. Larry asked for me to make check out to him and Ben said he didn't know he got the check. Ben was to come back and finish, NEVER DID.... Good Riddance to them

Hired Ben to repair a leaking window. In the process he broke the glass. Over a month of excuses as to when he was going to replace the glass and finish the job. He finally offered to pay us for the window. Guess what no money and have never heard from Ben again.

I would never hire them to do a job for me again. I was told by Larry and Ben the co-owners on the first day I met with them that they were familiar with doing construction in Surfside Beach. They also told me to close in my garage would only take them two weeks. I signed a contract with them, then the problems started. They did not know the permit process in Surfside. They did not show up to work most days and when they did it was one person (Ben) and then he would only work for an hour or two. Ben did not do the quality of work that you would expect from a licensed contractor. After five months Ben sent me a text telling me he was not coming back anymore leaving the job half done. I have had to hire other people to re-do most of the work that Coastal Contracting did.

Would never have them do a job again. Very unreliable. Had to constantly call them to find out IF or WHEN they were showing up. Then they never finished the job. My husband finished putting on the door lock and painting the woodwork. They asked the first day what color door lock we wanted. In the end neither partner delivered. So we got it ourselves to finish the door. Not only that, only one worker showed up the days the ceiling was being done so my husband pitched in. When they did show up it was normally late in the day and we had no idea if they were even coming. If you pay by credit card the price quoted goes up 2%. Sounds trivial but why not state that up front? Then they needed an advance on the balance because they hadn't finished but needed some funds. Foolishly we played their game to the end. Bent over backwards for them even went so far as to clean up the site because we wanted them done and gone. No recommendation will ever come from us. They posted pictures of ""the job"" without our consent or ever stating they would do so. So, beware. They are not trustworthy and their work is not up to par.
