Liza (the owner) was exceptionally responsive and scheduled an appointment the next day. Hamilton and his assistant did an excellent job, and Liza sent me before/after photos and a letter to my insurance company the same day. The pricing was also very reasonable. When we had our roof replaced, we did not address our detached garage, hoping to wait a few years to replace it. Last week we noticed several shingles had fallen off the garage and we were concerned. We reached out to Liza the owner of Coast Roofing, and even though the garage roof was not a part of their initial job, Liza immediately sent out a crew to fix the roof for us. She went above and beyond to help us, even though she had no obligation or reason to help. No other company would be so responsive and generous. Liza and her team were great, we had requested bids from 6 different companies Liza was the only one who came next day and had an estimate for us same day. I had 3 companies not even show up! The other 2 took 1-2 weeks to respond. Liza was always willing to answer my questions and I had a lot of them before during and after the projects completion. After interviewing two other companies, I contacted Coast Roofing at the advice of my next door neighbor, who just completed a big roofing project. Liza stopped by the next day to inspect my leaking tile roof, and she was able to provide recommendations, general advice, and a few different bids based on options. I should also add that I have 19 solar panels, which Liza was able to help with facilitating them being professionally removed and re-installed. I ended up going with a new tile roof, and Liza and her crew were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. They moved quickly and with a good sized crew, which is important with unpredictable weather. When they were done, I asked my retired roofing friend to take a look at the work, and he was very impressed with the precision. He called it a work of art. The roof looks beautiful, and we're so grateful for Liza and the Coast Roofing crew. I'll be recommending them to my friends, family, and real estate clients.

Coast Roofing is the best! I needed a new roof to continue insurance coverage. Liza got me an estimate in just a few days with a very good price. Liza promptly answered all texts and emails within hours. It's a very busy spring for roofs in San Diego and other roofers took days, sometimes weeks, to get back. So we received amazing communication from Coast Roofing during a very busy time. And then the work -- they squeezed it into their schedule for me. It was a total tear off, up to five layers in parts, and much wood needed replacing. I was kept informed and shown pictures of the sad shape the roof was in. And while the work was being done, the crew was so careful. I was amazed that they did not damage the extensive garden at all. A neighbor recovering from surgery commented that the crew was considerate as to starting time and that even though roofing can be noisy, they kept their music on low.

Lots of communication and photos of the progress of the tear off, wood replacement and final roof. Clarissa patiently helped me understand flat roof materials as I only knew shingles and pitched roofs. I have the highest compliments for their responsiveness and quality of communication to keep me informed. Wonderful people! It is a great new roof too! I highly recommend Coast Roofing!

Liza was quick to respond and was in good communication through the entire bid process and the job itself. My neighbor, who is an older lady, was honestly gypped by another roofing company: they put on a whole new roof, charged a lot, and then didn't honor their ""warranty"" when her roof leaked over and over again. Liza was there quickly to do the bid, the team came out the next day to put a tarp over the roof for the impending rain storm, and as soon as the rain passed the team was there to fix the roof. The next rain storm came and there was another spot that leaked, and the team was there immediately to repair it. It has rained since and there were no leaks! I know that leaks are very hard to find and repair in a roof, which is why the first roofer really screwed over my friend by not doing it right the first time; however, Coast Roofing has done a great job repairing the roof so that it has stopped leaking!

Start to finish expertise and excellence.
The roofing process began with determination of square footage and ground level walk thru evaluation of obvious defects and fascia board issue. An itemized estimate was provided for review. After further consultation about on roof insulation for a large finished open beam family room the updated estimate was very acceptable.
The first day of old roof teardown, the crew arrived at a reasonable time and laid out tarps around the property to catch debris. The teardown was very efficient, and debris was cleaned up from around the house and driveway at the end of the day and following days.
Once the old materials were removed, the base wood roofing was thoroughly examined for defects, rot, and insect damage. The defects were expertly removed and replaced. The carpentry was precise, the wood cuts were tight, angles and difficult areas of fascia board replacement were excellent.
The large finished open beam family room insulation was installed with great precision without any stray nails or wood splintering. (Note: The on roof insulation already makes a huge difference keeping the room comfortable).
The remaining new roofing materials were installed with great attention to detail to ensure a problem free roof for decades to come. Installation was completed in a very reasonable time frame even with rain delays.

Just like all the other reviews I had a wonderful experience! Liza was on top of everything and moved at lighning speed! I was told by other roofers that it would be 4 to 6 weeks and it was completed in 10 days from the start of the quote process to my new roof. Communication was great thru the whole process.
