The roofing process began with determination of square footage and ground level walk thru evaluation of obvious defects and fascia board issue. An itemized estimate was provided for review. After further consultation about on roof insulation for a large finished open beam family room the updated estimate was very acceptable.
The first day of old roof teardown, the crew arrived at a reasonable time and laid out tarps around the property to catch debris. The teardown was very efficient, and debris was cleaned up from around the house and driveway at the end of the day and following days.
Once the old materials were removed, the base wood roofing was thoroughly examined for defects, rot, and insect damage. The defects were expertly removed and replaced. The carpentry was precise, the wood cuts were tight, angles and difficult areas of fascia board replacement were excellent.
The large finished open beam family room insulation was installed with great precision without any stray nails or wood splintering. (Note: The on roof insulation already makes a huge difference keeping the room comfortable).
The remaining new roofing materials were installed with great attention to detail to ensure a problem free roof for decades to come. Installation was completed in a very reasonable time frame even with rain delays.

Just like all the other reviews I had a wonderful experience! Liza was on top of everything and moved at lighning speed! I was told by other roofers that it would be 4 to 6 weeks and it was completed in 10 days from the start of the quote process to my new roof. Communication was great thru the whole process.

Wow! You can stop reading here and just secure their services now! For those that want more...Liza and her team are just spectacular. Not an adjective used often in roof repair and replacement I presume, but they deserve to be called spectacular. From the initial response time and fast affordable quote, they nailed it, all they through the final walkthrough and follow up. I began the process knowing nothing about roofs or the process and stressing about the 25 solar panels mounted on a 30 year old leaky roof...thinking oh man this is gonna be bad, but it really wasn't. I got 5-6 quotes before making a decision, but I really didn't need to. Liza worked with our budget and made sure everything was done on time and correctly. Demo went smoothly and I also have to give Ruben (solar expert) and Neri (install) a shout out. So professional and some of the only contractors I've ever worked with who retained info and followed through on every detail we discussed without needing a reminder. Book now!

We worked with Liza & Coast Roofing to replace our flat roof this summer. Liza quoted us the best price, and it was especially nice that she took care of coordinating the removal and reinstallation of our solar panels and included that in the price. Other roofing companies we spoke to either didn't offer that service and we would have to coordinate ourselves, or they charged almost double for the solar piece. I'm really glad we went with Liza and her team. Rueben and Jose were great, fast, and communicative and the roof was done in just about a week with minimal noise or disruption. Liza was also very communicative and flexible throughout, and was even kind enough to give us a great discount when replacing our skylight at the tail end of the project. Overall it was a positive experience and I'd recommend!

I will preface this review with the fact that Coast Roofing provided us a beautiful new roof in a very timely fashion. Liza came out within 24hrs of requesting a quote and was able to provide one right away. She kept me updated on materials, day to day roofing work, and final delivery. The work was done top notch.

Only issue I had was what was quoted versus what the final price was. I was told during tear-off my roof had three shingle layers... which I already knew bc my home inspector told me of it. Not sure how that wasn't known from the initial bid when a home inspector was able to spot it. It was a great quote compared to the others we had received so I went with it. I know there are likely going to be extra costs for projects like this, but over $2k in extras seemed a bit high.

All in all, we're pleased with the roof and would recommend Coast Roofing. But it doesn't hurt to inquire about some of the additional costs that may be incurred up front.

Installing solar and needed a new roof. I can't speak highly enough about Coast Roofing. The experience from start to finish was beyond excellent. Liza is an amazing communicator and extremely responsive. I feel the quote was fair and the quality of work was excellent. I gave up on trying to patch a few leaks in my roof, and decided I'd just bite the bullet and get a new roof installed. After getting a few estimates, I settled on Coast Roofing Services to install a new TPO roof, and the experience was fantastic!

It cannot be overstated how happy I am with how good Liza is at communicating - it truly makes a world of difference to have somebody who kept me up to date on changes in material delivery, was very on-top of making sure things got done right, and was constantly in communication about the status of the job.

Huge bonus here is that Coast Roofing Services is also flexible and resourceful. When the color of TPO I needed was a long-lead item, Liza worked out a plan to get the roof sealed up immediately in case there was additional rain (to stop the leaks!), and then suggested doing parts of the roof that can't be seen in a similar color with a shorter lead-time, and following up on the highly-visible areas when the real color came in. Excellent plan, executed well, and I was kept up to date each step of the way.

None of that would matter if the price was exorbitant or the quality of work was bad, and happily that's not the case. Coast Roofing Services wasn't the cheapest of the bids I received, but the fact that Liza and team were so easy to work with tipped the scales in their favor. The quality of the work done also appears outstanding. It was evident from watching them work that they really cared about doing things the right way, and we adjusted the scope of work a few times throughout the project as the team came up with suggestions on how to improve the final appearance. In all cases, communication was clear, and Coast Roofing Services was upfront about any schedule or cost changes if we opted to go with the scope change.

I wholeheartedly recommend Coast Roofing Services. It's really no fun to have to deal with putting a new roof on a house, but Liza and team made it as painless as possible, and the communication and overall sanity throughout was very much appreciated.
