I had a half dozen damaged roof shingles from a recent wind. A friend and I had already fixed a flatter roof surface but one section was too dangerous for amateurs. CMS quoted me a good price. The three man crew was quick, efficient, and friendly in their repair and they were willing to use shingles I already owned.
My roof is old and when it needs a full replacement I'll be giving CMS a call.

I called several companies for an estimate on my roof but felt CMS gave me the most honest answer and was very respectful and courteous. Once I hired them they were on time, communicated often and done quickly! Highly recommend!

I hired CMS in past (2016-2018) to inspect/clean gutters, install new gutters, install leaf guards and flashing, among prior jobs. I had been quite impressed with their workers' expertise so in June 2020, I asked them for a quote to replace two attic fans. I specifically told them in email and in person that I wanted CMS to replace the existing fans with the exact model, size, style, color of what was in place/being replaced. I do not know how to determine attic fan specs or how to choose attic fans so my thought was I would be dodging complications in having the wrong fans if I just get the same fans to replace what I have. CMS chose fans that were for attic spaces twice as big as the area the fans must ventilate. Their own rep (Marlana) confirmed with the fan mfr after install, wherein I complained of excessive vibration and noise from these 'new' fans - that the reason is because the fans CMS installed were too big and create an airlock -- which subsequently stops ventilating the space and starts vibrating loudly. According to the mfr she spoke with, this also shortens the life of the fans. I asked for CMS to replace these new fans with the proper size and Marlana suggested that I would have to pay for two full installs and two sets of fans -- now a $2800 job from should have only been a $1400 job had it been done correctly to start with. It has been 3 mos of me trying to get a response for them to absorb their error rather than me -- and after providing the proof in email I requested the same size fans as the home had and not larger ones. There has been no response from CMS among the dozen or so times I have tried - and I have documented proof of trying to reach out. Their only offer of a solution is that I absorb the entire cost of two installs due to their error. Fortunately, I have documented proof of telling them I wish to purchase the same size, color and model of fans currently in the space and that I wanted a quote for 'the same size fans' to replace what we have. I trusted CMS based on gutter work and their recommendations of fans for my home after I specifically told F2F and in writing to match what I have for attic fans being replaced. Their workers do good work - but after this giant hassle, I will no longer do business with this company and will share my experience with others among social media. This shouldn't have happened. If you hire experts, you should be able to rely on their professional oversight of a job from start to finish and they should be trustworthy enough to install the right parts to do the job correctly and oversee every aspect of the job is executed correctly.

I went by the Irmo office to set up appointment, they said they would call next day with time and date. After a two day wait, I called and got appointment date and time. On Tuesday, Jeremy Smith, Superintendent of Residential Operations, came out to view the problem (water leak on ceiling). After seeing the problem, he said he would send estimate by e-mail on Thursday. Seven days later I still haven't received the e-mail or heard from the Company.
