I'm so disappointed with this company. I had a great experience before hand with them communicating with me every week check-in; however, when they received the money all communication stopped and haven't heard from anyone in 4 months. My roof is still damaged with no indication of anyone letting me know when it will be fixed. It's sad to see that we have came down to a point that this is about to get very disgusting. I have email everyone that I have previously communicated with and no response. It's at a point where I don't want it to be an extreme issue and numerous amount of individual needs to be involved.

We signed with CMR months ago after Ian. The service was good until now. We have called numerous people there but have not received a response back. We left messages with Paul, the AI secretary and still no response. The last person in charge of our account was Abbie Dople. I have left messsages for Abbie but not response. Our roofing material should be delivered soon as we have been waiting for months. . We have a permit on our lamp post outside. We cannot reach anyone to find out the status of our roof. Paul, the AI secretary takes our information but no on calls us back. Is CMR still in business?

I am writing this post as a cautionary story about hiring CMR Construction for roof replacement. We signed a contract in October 2022 in the wake of hurricane IAN. We finally ended up using D.R. Martineau in February of 2024. We live in a duplex home and the CMR rep attempted to get our villa mate to contract for the job along with us. They were not successful.
We reached out to Martineau when we received a notice of non-renewal from our insurance company for not completing roof repairs over a year after their payout. Martineau was able to get agreement from our villa mate and completed the job within 3 weeks after our agreement. I was able to have our insurance reinstated and all ended well.
The nicest thing I can say about CMR is that they were unresponsive and did not adequately notify me of the status of the negotiations with my villa mate, citing customer confidentiality issues. At one point they claimed delays in obtaining materials. It was nearly impossible to reach their customer service group. We had no fewer than 3 different reps assigned to our account over the year and three months our roofing project was ""active"". Calls to them almost always resulted in ringing through to their voicemail accounts only to hear ""the mailbox is full"" messages. My numerous calls to their corporate number (in Texas) resulted in pointless conversations with a representative who took details of my issues and promised to ""have someone get back to me""...which never happened. I have since found out that CMR franchises its business to third party concerns who employ contract customer service contractors. As an aside: I called the CMR phone number returned by Google for a local CMR business and received a ""that number has been disconnected"" message.
Are you getting my frustration with CMR yet? I finally received an argumentative and condescending call from the local business owner to discuss their offer of 25% of the money that I paid them for no services received along with an agreement to not comment on the transaction in social media, YELP,Google or NextDoor. I rejected the offer and insisted on a 40% return which I viewed as a good compromise but the owner dug his heels in.
So here we are. I learned an expensive lesson but life goes on. Unless you welcome doing business with a company that has extremely poor customer service , I would avoid any offers to do business with CMR.

CMR has hundreds of complaints against them @ myfloridalicense.com (regulating agency) there is also an open investigation with the FL AG's office. Don't give them money & don't let them touch your roof. Pls file a complaint with the two above agencies.

We contracted with CMR and they have half of our insurance settlement. Job was supposed to be completed by Jan 15 2024 We are no longer getting return calls from the company with no new ETA of job completion. All of our previous contacts are no longer with the company.

0 stars for this scam of a company. They collected 25% cash up front for our roof over a year ago after Hurricane Ian. That is over $24K! They were unresponsive and full of delays. We filed with the FL AG office and understand that an investigation is open against them. Do NOT trust CMR. Total scam and it is coming to an end.

They have all my insurance settlement ($59K )and have now told me they do not have the cash to buy the materials from suppliers.
Will not return calls .
Total dishonesty.

I had contracted with CMR for a roof replacement due to Hurricane Ian storm damage in 2022. I paid them a $4,000 deposit and my insurance company gave them an additional $3,000 upon review of their bid. They were unable to get my duplex mate to sign on with them after several months passed and my HOA would not allow a 1/2 roof replacement. In June of 2023 I began requesting a refund and here we are in February of 2024 and no meaningful response. Their game appears to put me on a rotating customer service rep cycle. I am on my 4th one now. Never any satisfaction from any of them and I can tell when I will soon get a new one because their telephone mailbox goes full and I get ghosted. Do yourself a big favor and avoid these people. You will NOT be happy with the way you are treated. You will be unable to speak to anyone who matters. I was also not surprised to call numbers associated with CMR in Bonita Springs and Naples Florida only to find they were no longer in service. Don't be fooled by what appears to be a professional organization based on their website. They are NOT.

Company comes around during storms with young fellas offering free roof inspections. I guess this is a positive side of the story as is if they really found damage to my roof I wouldn't know otherwise. They go offer their ""Program to get your roof paid at no cost to homeowners"". This is where the problem starts. You will sign a contract that say that you will pay them 25% of any money you receive regardless if you contract them for the work. Once you sign they recommend their partner lawyers and start the process of law suit. In my experience CMR went MIA after that. They called me once in a while to give me a worthless ""update"" telling me the same thing I got from the lawyers days or even a week earlier. BTW the law firm will tell you they work for you and not CMR, Many times the lawyer stated that communication with CMR ""is very bad"" and asked me to attempt to reach out to them myself too. They never responded to messages or calls. For the 1 or 2 that they responded it was after a week of continuous calls and messages. ~3 years went by with 2 scary hurricane seasons. Since neither I nor the attorney could get a hold of CMR to discuss how much they were willing to take for the repairs, I had to accept a settlement amount based on another roofer's estimate (2x lower than CMR). Once the settlement was done and the check was in process, CMR started to call and email me very often, I wish they were like that during the process and not leave me to dry. I 1000% regret having bump into CMR. Worse experience ever.

CMR has been awful. My parents who are in their 80's had their roof replaced. The entire time they worked on the roof they had many complaints, they fixed some but Levi and Olivia kept saying wait until the end and give us your list and we will fix them all. There are still so many issues and they don't even call back! Someone came about two months ago to fix the paint and the screen they ripped, they said they will come back the next week, never heard from them. I have called and text and no one returns my calls. We were told not to use them after we had already hired them, this has taken way too long.
