The year 1950 marked the beginning of Clyde Nettles, who collaborated with Sabin Nettles and Neclause Porth to establish a roofing, painting, and minor carpentry service. These men committed themselves to creating a legacy of quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. Today, we are among the most respected names in roofing, painting, and home upgrades in the Southeast.

When Mr. Nettles retired in 1983, the Porth family acquired the business, and they continue to own it today. When Tony Porth, the eldest son of Neclause Porth, assumed control, he vowed to Mr. Nettles to preserve the Nettles name and its reputation for quality. Following Tony's death in 1997, the Porth family has continued the tradition of quality craftsmanship set by the Nettles and Porth families.
