After filing a complaint with the BBB, I finally received a check from Cloud Roofing for the amount that was in dispute. Thank you for doing the right thing, Cloud Roofing.

The WORST service I've ever experienced. They promised a new roof within 6 weeks but never even called to set up the time. We tried to set up meetings over and over again over the course of 6 months. They made me tons of empty promises and wouldn't refund my money until I threatened a lawyer and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. NEVER use this business.

Ken Cloud and his family are the most unprofessional and toxic people I have dealt with to date. They worked on a roof, never to come back and finish. It's been over four weeks since they said they were coming back, and they do not return calls. Both my father and I have called them on a weekly basis only to be told Ken will call back at HIS convenience. I am still waiting on a call from Ken. He never has the convenience. I did get a call from them about two weeks ago to collect the rest of their money, and told them they have not finished. Again I was told someone would call back and nothing. I finally went to their office today 11/18/16, and was verbally attacked by Ken, his wife and his son. Ken immediately started yelling at me and was yelling at me to ""shut up."" The wife then came out, yelled at him to go away, and told him she would handle me because she talked to ""this nasty lady on the phone."" She then proceeded to yell at me about a roof that wasn't even mine. Their daughter in law corrected her, which let me know immediately I was not the only unsatisfied customer. The son then got involved and started yelling at me calling me a ""nasty bitch,"" repeatedly. He then threatened me with calling the police, which I did, and told me to get out. No resolution..... yet! DO NOT USE THEM!

I chose Cloud Roofing because they are a local company and have been in business for a long time. The way they handled their warranty is a concern, however. You might want to consider another company that is more customer friendly. They bused a water pipe but refused to even come out and look at it and help me resolve the issue. Will look for another roofer next time.

I don't even know where to start with this company. All I can do is recommend you take your money elsewhere. Don't fall for their ""we're local"" sales pitch.

I contacted this company to receive an estimate for a new roof after the recent hail storm. They told me that someone would get in contact with me in roughly 7 days, and set up an appointment for estimate. After 2 weeks have gone by, I call them back up to find out why I haven't heard anything back. They tell me they will contact the estimator I was assigned to (Chase), and find out why he hadn't contacted me. Later that day I receive a call from Chase and we set up a 1300 appointment on a Saturday. The appointment time came and gone and he did not show up. He did not call me. He did not answer his phone when I called him. He did not call me back after I left a message. Nothing!!! At this time I should have realized what type of company this was and just went elsewhere, but my foolish self gave them another chance. I called the company back after Chase ignored our appointment and they set me up with an estimate from a Keith. Keith came out a few days later.
My house had a full tarp on the roof prior to Cloud roofing coming out. This was done by another company and was done to stop any further interior damage. I told Keith that I prefer he didn't walk on my roof because I didn't want the tarp to get messed up. I told him that I already provided Cloud Roofing with the USAA estimate so they already had the dimensions of the roof. He said they had to get up there and take their own estimates. Also while he was at my house the rope to his latter broke and he left it in my driveway for me to pick up.

So a couple days go by after Keith was on my tarped roof and I noticed the tarp had started to come undone and was coming loose. This was on a Saturday and we were about to get rain later that night and on Sunday. I called up Cloud Roofing and told them the tarp is loose after their employee walked on it. It's no biggie, I just need them to get someone out there to nail it back down before the rain comes through. They called up Keith and called me back. They tell me that Keith said ""he did not touch my tarp."" Seriously!?! My entire roof was tarped. It was impossible for Keith to be on my roof without being on the tarp. I explain to them that I need someone to come out and nail the tarp down. They then tell me that they ""do not have anyone on Saturdays,"" and basically they are sorry. So the storms come through. The tarp gets blown off and blown to pieces. And I have water coming into my house all because of this joke of a company.
After the storms I call them up again to see when someone can come out and patch the roof leak since the tarp is now gone and since it is no longer a ""Saturday."" This first person I talk to tells me they will move me up and will repair my roof in a couple of weeks. I tell her that's fine but I need the roof patched in the meantime. She says they will call me back. I then get a call from Keith and he asks why I need it patched because they will be repairing the roof this week. I tell him that is not what the last person said. She said a couple of weeks. He assures me that she was confused and it would be within the week.
The week passes and I hear nothing again from this company. I once again CALL THEM the following week. The person I speak to tells me the supplies are on order and it will be a week or two. I try to explain everything to here. Again, it is fine if it is a couple of weeks, but we are to be getting rain and I need my roof patched in the meantime. Why is this hard to understand? The roof only needs to be patched because your guy walked on my tarp and cause it to break away from the house.
Keep in mind, I had asked to speak with the owner on multiple occasions. I was told he was not available and they would relay the message and he would call me back. Not once did he even call me about the issues. He showed no interest in knowing how his company was handling business. Showed no interested in fixing these problems. This is the kind of man people are choosing to give their business to.
After I explained to this girl about needing the patch on my roof while we wait these couple of weeks for the roofing materials, they put me on hold. A guy gets on the phone. It is someone I had not spoken to before. He did not introduce himself. He simply said they will do my roof on Wednesday. It will be done that day and before the rain. He did not apologize for anything. He did not have any amount of remorse for what I've dealt with to this point. And although he never made mention to who he was, I am pretty sure it was Mr Ken Cloud. Wow dude! Some businessman you are.
As told, they came out the day the promised and completed the roof. They got most of the debris but...Full review can be found on BBB website

STAY AWAY - Gave deposit to have 4 roofs done. They did not want to abide by their contract, said they would return deposit and of course that has not happened. Never returned phone calls and are very unprofessional people. Stay Away if you know what is good for you.

I've had an absolutely frustrating experience dealing with Cloud Roofing. Cloud was recommended to me to do my roof repair after the 2016 San Antonio hail storm. I looked into them. They have an A+ BBB rating and I liked the fact they were a local family run company that has been around since 1975. All things considered, I decided to contract with them. BIG MISTAKE. Then entire process from start to finish has been a nightmare.

Maybe they were good in the past, but they are clearly in it for the money with this latest hailstorm and have scaled back on quality workmanship. I hope they made a crap ton of money from all of the poor roofs they have put on now because I assure you they have tarnished their name by subcontracting out of town workers to complete jobs and will lose business in the long run. Just Google Cloud roofing reviews and look at what others have said on Google reviews. Make sure you sort by newest review. Not a single happy customer.

Don't hire these people. First time I called, I was told it would be at least two weeks before anyone could contact me to SCHEDULE an appointment. What kind of company has no ability to schedule an appointment for two weeks? Against all odds, I did end up hiring them. Big mistake. Not great work. Shingles don't match existing shingles (my fault for not being home when they did the work), and when I called back they said it would be eight weeks before SOMEONE COULD CALL ME ABOUT IT. When I pointed out that it would only take a few minutes to drive by & look at it, I was told SORRY, but someone else needs to call you back in 8 weeks to schedule a time for someone to come by. Seriously? This company is a joke. The five star ratings have to be by the owners or employees. WORST experience ever. Oh, also I found out that I paid at least twice as much as I should have.

cloud roofing was supposed to remove my existing shingles and put on a new roof (2012). they were paid for the removal of shingles.

it turns out that they weren't removed from my garage, so in 2016 when i had to get a new roof the old shingles had to be removed, that were supposed to be removed in 2012. the insurance company had to pay for that again.

if you use them, get an independent appraiser to look at their work before paying the final amount.

Feeling mislead at this point. Contracted with Cloud to replace roof due to recent hail damage in SA. Understand roofing contractors busy. Signed our contract 6 June, with verbal that work would begin in about 8 weeks. Understand delay. Heard nothing from them, so called early Aug. Was told our job is not scheduled until OCT. From 8 weeks to 16 weeks, alot of difference. Advice -- get your approx start date written in your contract.
