STAY AWAY - Gave deposit to have 4 roofs done. They did not want to abide by their contract, said they would return deposit and of course that has not happened. Never returned phone calls and are very unprofessional people. Stay Away if you know what is good for you.

I've had an absolutely frustrating experience dealing with Cloud Roofing. Cloud was recommended to me to do my roof repair after the 2016 San Antonio hail storm. I looked into them. They have an A+ BBB rating and I liked the fact they were a local family run company that has been around since 1975. All things considered, I decided to contract with them. BIG MISTAKE. Then entire process from start to finish has been a nightmare.

Maybe they were good in the past, but they are clearly in it for the money with this latest hailstorm and have scaled back on quality workmanship. I hope they made a crap ton of money from all of the poor roofs they have put on now because I assure you they have tarnished their name by subcontracting out of town workers to complete jobs and will lose business in the long run. Just Google Cloud roofing reviews and look at what others have said on Google reviews. Make sure you sort by newest review. Not a single happy customer.

Don't hire these people. First time I called, I was told it would be at least two weeks before anyone could contact me to SCHEDULE an appointment. What kind of company has no ability to schedule an appointment for two weeks? Against all odds, I did end up hiring them. Big mistake. Not great work. Shingles don't match existing shingles (my fault for not being home when they did the work), and when I called back they said it would be eight weeks before SOMEONE COULD CALL ME ABOUT IT. When I pointed out that it would only take a few minutes to drive by & look at it, I was told SORRY, but someone else needs to call you back in 8 weeks to schedule a time for someone to come by. Seriously? This company is a joke. The five star ratings have to be by the owners or employees. WORST experience ever. Oh, also I found out that I paid at least twice as much as I should have.

cloud roofing was supposed to remove my existing shingles and put on a new roof (2012). they were paid for the removal of shingles.

it turns out that they weren't removed from my garage, so in 2016 when i had to get a new roof the old shingles had to be removed, that were supposed to be removed in 2012. the insurance company had to pay for that again.

if you use them, get an independent appraiser to look at their work before paying the final amount.

Feeling mislead at this point. Contracted with Cloud to replace roof due to recent hail damage in SA. Understand roofing contractors busy. Signed our contract 6 June, with verbal that work would begin in about 8 weeks. Understand delay. Heard nothing from them, so called early Aug. Was told our job is not scheduled until OCT. From 8 weeks to 16 weeks, alot of difference. Advice -- get your approx start date written in your contract.

The whole family at Cloud roofing has been nothing but accepting and accommodating as I have come to work with them after leaving a ""Fly By Night"" roofing company here in San Antonio. They have been professional, knowledgeable and really put their homeowners first when it comes to getting everything replaced or repaired fast and efficiently.

I had this company work on my roof in December. Caleb was very nice and professional-the lull before the storm! The supply drop off before the job started was on time. The job started off bad. They removed all the shingles from my deck. They were not supposed to touch the deck roofing! They agreed and I didn't have to pay for that. When the workers started working on the rest of the house they dropped the shingles everywhere. They keep smashing the shrubs and plants with the shingles. I told the workers on three different occasion to be cognizant of the surroundings. They didn't understand a word I was saying because they didn't speak any English. Their equipment spilled oil on my driveway. They scratched the heck out of my deck on the clean up. I discussed these issues with both Caleb and Mr. Cloud. They appeared indifferent to my concerns. They didn't seem to be concerned with trying to compensate me for all the surrounding damage. I do not recommend anyone use this company unless you get EVERYTHING stated in explicit detail in the contract!

Wonderful people. Family folk who live here in San Antonio. Ken is the owner and actually lives in our community. They fixed my roof and you can drop by their location even. The best experience.

Worst roofing installation company ever. First of all it took 5 days to install the new roof and then took an additional two weeks to complete all of the repairs to fix the bad installation. When it was all said and done I now have a water leak that I didn't have before Cloud Roofing worked on my house. Almost two months later I have paid for the installation of a new roof that has buckles and lifted shingles and a roof that now leaks. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company the quality of work they feel is acceptable is not by any standard good enough for what you should get for a brand new roof.

Cloud replaced my roof years ago. They did an excellent job. Recently my roof buckled. I called and it was still under warranty. They said they would be out within a week to look at it. That was about 6 months ago. I have called maybe 6 times, each time they say someone is coming. Finally got mad and someone called to schedule but he cancelled twice and never called to reschedule. I called today and I am back on the regular list AND now they say they are not doing repairs at all. I referred neighbors and family to Cloud. I will make sure and let them know about the poor customer service. Even though we are under warranty I am taking my business elsewhere. Worst customer service ever!
