We hired Clemont roofing from Oviedo to reroof our house. Joe Buck was the salesman. We figured once the contract was signed, last we would see of him.
Best contract we ever signed.
Joe was here every single day. We had excellent communication from the office on when they would start. Joe was here every day to tell workers where to park, guide the delivery. The workers are amazing. Worked 12 hours a day 5 days straight to strip the old off. Install the new.
At completion, they walked the yard with magnets and metal detectors for debris ( nails ). Can't say in writing how great this company treated us.
If anyone has apprehensive thoughts, all I can say is we had 5 star service. Hire them ! Bill V

In 2018, Clermont Roofing installed my roof. In the three years since then, I have had numerous callbacks due to leaks caused by missing shingles, improper installation of shingles, and inadequate flashing. Only use this company if you are knowledgeable about roofing and able yourself to fully supervise onsite.
Workers often take shortcuts that result in problems with leaks later. Though the company will respond to warranty calls, ""bandaid"" fixes often don't address a full remedy unless you document problems with pictures taken by professional outside inspectors. Slow leaks may take a couple years to show on the interior ceilings. Unfortunately by then, the five-year warranty may have run out.

Clermont Roofing has proven to be the most unreliable, untrustworthy company we've ever encountered. My 78 husband and I are 15 year residents of Lake County, and believed Clermont Roofing to be a reliable, trustworthy company that would guarantee a good, professional job for their customers. Our six (6) month ordeal - nightmare has proven us very, very wrong. Clermont Roofing installed a new roof mid March 2018. Approx one week later, we noted something very wrong with the roof, but as an older couple, it's difficult to view from the ground. Their rep ""Abel"" said he could see installation errors from the street - numerous rows of incorrectly measured, layered, installed shingles (numerous rows and rows of shingles only 3 inches wide running across our roof. He confirmed the crew didn't measure the job correctly before beginning. Was the crew inexperienced or impaired in some way? A 2nd crew was sent end of March to attempt to correct the errors and failed to do so, yet owner Patrick Scott inspected the work and assured us it had been corrected. We'd soon discover that was false - it wasn't corrected, and we've posted the photo documentation to prove it. Office Manager Michelle Hanson advised we ""should be happy - it's better than it was."" Clermont Roofing is well aware there is no way to correct the original measurement errors - the entire roof would need to be replaced to result in uniform-size, uniform color shingles throughout the roof - the very reason they've done nothing to resolve this matter for 6 months. We recently discovered they even installed the wrong color roof vents - white on a brown roof! They couldn't even do that right. We've now waited 26 weeks - more than 6 months for Clermont Roofing to do the right thing and provide the roof we paid for - with uniform-size, uniform-color shingles throughout the roof. To date, they have refused to do so. Numerous phone calls, emails, emailed requests for a return call by owner Patrick Scott have gone ignored. A request for a 15 minute meeting at our home to review the matter was also ignored. Our last call to Patrick Scott (on his direct phone number he provided) on June 7th was answered and immediately disconnected. We immediately called him back, leaving a voice mail message stating it would be our last attempt to reach him to resolve. Three (3) months later, he has failed to respond. Do these sound like the actions of a honest, trustworthy company you'd want to do business with? After 4 months of waiting, we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - along with supporting photo documentation of their shoddy workmanship. Please zoom in on the photos provided to see the measurement and installation errors running across the front of the roof. We understand mistakes happen, and have been more than patient and understanding. It's IF and HOW those mistakes are addressed that separates the companies with integrity from those without. Clermont Roofing (and all involved) has proven to us to be a company void of integrity. To treat any customer in this manner is inexcusable, but to put a 78 year old Veteran (""Marine Bill"") and his wife through this six month ordeal is appalling, and absolutely inexcusable. We both feel a moral obligation to warn as many folks as we can throughout our community.

I picked this roofing company as they are licensed and insured. Owner Patrick Scott owns both Clermont Roofing and Oviedo Roofing. I had new roofs installed by these jokers, the workers put 492 nails into finished beautiful tongue and groove ceiling in my 1,200 sq ft Florida room. I notified them and they came inside and hammered the nails out (leaving 53 still in the ceiling) and did even more damage while doing so by gouging holes and scraping the wood with their tools. They stood on furniture, (no ladder brought inside) and had total disregard of furnishings damaging and breaking several objects. Salesman Jim Strzalko feels no responsibility after neglecting to tell workers the type of ceiling before this occurred. Nor did Jim tell them that I had eaves w/o soffits typical of homes built in the 1960's (guess roofers don't look up) thus 200+ nails are poking through the eaves. The shed had new roof installed as well, roofers replaced some 1/2"" plywood and then placed 2""nails thus leaving nails poking into the shed, brilliant! Estimate to repair the room ceiling ALONE is $7,359.00. Owner Patrick Scott refuses to call or come see damage done and best offer, albeit I should NOT have to negotiate having ZERO fault in this huge error, is $2,000 off my invoice. Why doesn't Patrick Scott use his insurance to fix this as this is why he carries insurance in the first place. All this professing to be Christians! I am elderly and disabled on top of everything else. These folks are criminals in my opinion. If Patrick Scott and/or Jim Strzalko do the right thing I will amend this review.

Installed shingles that are peeling off my house after four years. They said I had to file a warranty claim with shingle company. Shingle company said there is nothing wrong with the shingles. So now I am waiting for answer from this roofing company about what they will do. This roof was installed in 2014 by Oviedo roofing , same as Clermont Roofing.

Our sales person promised to take care of receiving final payment from our insurance company, which he did not. No big deal, we did. Received the final payment which was only 30% of the total balance. Brought the check into the office only to find out that they had put a Lien on our house! There was no letter of intent, email or even a phone call! We would have certainly paid out of pocket if asked. The owner of the company refused to endorse the check we had in hand from the insurance company, written out to us, unless she followed us to the bank to watch us deposit it. I have never been so baffled with unprofessionalism in my life! This company doesn't deserve to affiliate themselves with our town, and will not extend any respect or decency in conducting business. Shockingly terrible service and abuse of law. Unless you want to spend the day at the court house releasing the lien permanently recorded on your property by heartless indecent greedy business owners, I strongly urge you to do business elsewhere. Do not be taken advantage of
