David was our project manager during the roof replacement. He was prompt and professional. He was also very thorough in his inspection. He took pictures. He crawled in the attic. And he even invited my husband to go up on the roof to explain (in his professional opinion) the condition of our roof. Again, I can't say enough how thorough he was. I had two other companies send representatives to get estimates for roof replacements, and none of them were as thorough as David. At the end of the project, David continued to advocate for us ensuring that the men completed quality work, making sure the vents were put on right and freshly painted to match our new roof, and the area around our house was clean.

The actual roof removal and replacement took about 3 days. The men got there early at 7am each morning and worked all day to finish the roof quickly. Because of weekends and scheduling with the city the inspections, the whole project from start to finish took about a week and a half.

Our initial estimate and the actual final cost of the roof replacement was very different. Partly, it was our fault because we were not informed to know what to expect. Once the roof was removed, there was another walk through to assess the condition of wood. (Read below for TIP)

An area to improve would be communication. A day or two would pass before we were notified when inspections would happen or when the portal potty would be picked up.

TIP:
Estimate more than half, if not ALL wood replacement. In the initial inspection, ask the representative to give an estimate with the expectation to replace more than half, if not ALL the wood under the roof. In our estimate, it stated replacement of 10% of the wood. This small detail/ mistake ultimately doubled the cost of the roof replacement.

Their crews were all very polite and super hard working, from demolition, to framing, to final installation, they do excellent work!

George and Steve came out to my property to give me a free estimate. These guys did a great job and were extremely knowledgeable. They were super very reasonable on the pricing and made sure not to cut any corners. With that being said I chose the Owens Corning Midnight shingles with the 50 Year Warranty. I gave them the green light on the project and they pulled the permit and started the project within a week. I feel comfortable knowing they had passed all the necessary inspections and provided me with all the documentation from the city. They also made sure to always answer my phone calls.
