Joshua was super quick to respond to my gutter cleaning request. I was searching around for a gutter cleaning service before the next bout of rain. There were other gutter cleaning pros closer to my area in San Gabriel Valley, but the next time I need such service, I will contact Clean Out Pros direct.

No call, no show for a gutter cleaning and roof tile repair in November last year. I called to check up with them about an hour past their scheduled arrival time. I thought there might have been an emergency or they were lost. It's now the new year and I still haven't heard from them so decided it was time to write my ghosted gutter review.

They were efficient and delivered exactly as promised. We had about 30 tiles to be repaired and the flat portion of the roof resealed. The guys were on time and the quote was exactly like we discussed. Josh was friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience!

They supposedly would do roof repairs as well. I did receive a competitive quote for my roof repair, after asking a couple of times, but I needed their license number as well. They said they have one. After asking a few times for it, they never gave it to me. I guess they don't have a license number, while they said they did. Just don't lie about it the first time.....

And here is an update after the company's rebuttal. I'll start with a chronological order of events:

- 8/24: We had a phone call about the job description

- 8/29: I received a quote

- 9/6: informed about an increase of the roof surface.

- 9/7: received an updated quote

- 9/7: asked for the license number as a third party solar company needed it. He would send it that evening. I didn't receive it that day.

- 9/9: I send a text if he had sent over the info/license number (this of course implies I haven't received it). I had other questions as well. He only replied with a thumbs-up. So, it's not clear for which question that is. He did say he would call me be back that day. He didn't.

- 9/15: I gave him a few days to call me back. On 15/9 I texted him that I hadn't heard from him and if he was still interested in the job. I never heard back!

- 9/26: I gave him a 1 star Yelp review, based upon the above experience.

Note: I was waiting for his response until 9/26 patiently as the third-party solar company was waiting for me. There is a reasonable chance the solar company would just drop me due to my delay, increase their pricing eventually or I could even lose my NM2.0. So there are inter-dependencies here and risks.

After my posted Yelp review, he responded back within 5 minutes. He claimed he had sent me the license number on 9/7. I sent him my phone screen dump to prove I didn't receive it. He sent his phone screen dump showing that he did send it. So apparently something went wrong between his T-Mobile and my AT&T, a rare event. (But in his communications, he blamed me for being wrong....)

The fact that he ignored me after 9/9 (no promised phone call, no response on my text on 9/15), is already enough to give a bad review. Certainly, given the fact that I was waiting for him to get back, so I could inform the solar company. And he knew about the fact there was a the solar company involved.

I only increase the review from 1 star to 3 stars in the hope he will learn to improve his communication skills. The whole purpose having Yelp is to improve companies services for future customers.

Additionally, there are more critical(!) issues I could reveal, but I'll leave it to one item: communication skills. First he said: ""you just have too much time on my hands"", then he said I'm a ""crazy old man in my opinion"", then on Yelp he claims ""I'm struggling to manage my mom/dad's property"". Which is it Sir? Actually non of these 3 are true. It's basically 100% FAKE (using your words).

Everything I said, in my rebuttal above, is actually 100% accurate and can be 100% proven to be accurate as well.
Also: it's utterly clear that on Yelp companies get reviews from family and friends. ALL with 5 stars.
Go figure...... when a company only has 5 star reviews, that says enough.,,

Josh and his team did a great job cleaning out my rain gutters today! Josh was friendly, knowledgeable, and you can trust him. I had asked for a downspout during the bidding process and after discussing the total scope of my project when he got on site, he advised against putting in the downspout and charged me less money. Who does that in this day and age? A company that wants your repeat business and they will have mine. I highly recommend Clean Out Pros to my friends, family, and the Yelp community.

My parent's home needed gutters cleaned out, gutter guards installed, and the roof inspected. Josh and his team came out and got straight to work. They found areas of the roof that needed work, took photos to show us the problem areas, told us exactly what it would cost to make repairs, and got it all fixed. We had questions about one area of the gutter system after the team left and Josh came out the next day to remedy it and ensure my parents were happy with the job (read: he backs his work). The house stayed dry inside and the gutters performed flawlessly during the ongoing tropical storm. Very pleased with this company.
