Richard and his Company are Professionals. His workers are considerate and do Quality Work. His estimate is precise and you know what you are paying for. I interviewed many roofers and was not comfortable until I met Richard. You need look no further. His work is quality and he cares about doing the job right and with quality. They did a new roof for me at my personal home and rental property and also did the gutters and gutter toppers.

Definitely five stars for Richard Hicks of Classic Roofing and Gutters. Pine tree fell on our garage after a big storm. Richard arrived on time to give his estimate. He thoroughly checked out the damage and gave us our quote. It wasn't the most or the least, but it was a very reasonable price. We chose Classic Roofing because of the attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling and sincere demeanor of Richard Hicks. He was honest and straight-forward about the work they would do and the team they employ. There was no hard sell, anxiety inducing what-if scenarios or any attempt to sell us more that we were asking. Richard Hicks is laid back, flexible and will keep you in the loop every step of the way.

After he repaired our garage roof, we were so happy with his work we asked him to do the rest of the house. Again, our expectations were exceeded. : -)

Classic Roofing installed a new roof and gutters to our Marietta house in the spring of 2015.
Richard was one of the most knowledgeable salesmen we interviewed, and his company provided very good customer service and expertise.

Our roof started leaking 12 days after Classic completed a brand new roof installation on our ENTIRE house. The leak damaged our hardwood floor which we've since had to replace at our own expense.

Early on, Classic said they would file a hardwood floor replacement claim with their subcontracted roofer that actually installed our roof. We said ""OK, but we thought Classic installed our roof-- not a subcontractor!"" Classic seemed fair and honest about the situation until 7 days later when they said: ""Sorry but our roofing subcontractor doesn't have General Liability Insurance."" That's when they started using phrases like ""pre-existing condition"" and ""no liability"" and asked to get my Homeowners Insurance Company (Allstate) involved.

I trusted that Classic had my best interest in mind when I agreed for Classic to meet with Allstate. It's now clear that Classic's intent was to mitigate their own admissions and efforts before they found out that their own roofing subcontractor didn't have Insurance.

Classic's accusation that the leak repair by a competing Roofing Company (Northside) is being used ""as a cover up before issues can be resolved"" is false. We had to fix the leak with another Roofing company because (1) Classic wasn't able/willing to fix the leak after multiple attempts, and (2) water was leaking inside our home for 11 weeks after Classic installed a new roof on our ENTIRE house. How many more weeks should pass before ""issues can be resolved""?

I want to be careful on providing too much identifying information, otherwise I may never have my warranty honored if there is a problem. Basically, my wife and I did our homework and had approximately 8 different roofers come out and give quotes. We picked Classic, thinking we had made a good decision. That was not the case. Their salesman was completely ignorant on their product. We didn't get the roof we wanted (or had agreed to) and had the threat of being sued and having a lien put on our house if we didn't pay. I felt like I got bent over a table, but there wasn't much I could do. We paid them, but I feel horrible that I did. I just hope no one else gets duped by this company.
