Put off for several years replacing the original wood shake roof on a rental home and finally broke down this year and did it. Can't say enough how great of a job Clark and his crew did including great correspondence with the office ladies regarding appointment and payment stuff. I was glad I took an advice and seek 4 estimates and chose Clark Gables. He met me at the property, showed me a detailed sketch of roof work and samples of materials. Even got a discount - so don't forget to ask... never hurts. Oh, and he's much younger and taller in person than his online photo!

We just had our roof replaced and we could not be happier! The crew at Clark's Gables was fast, efficient and affordable! They got here Wednesday morning and we're done early Friday morning - we had a flat roof that also needed to be repaired so that added a little time on - and they would have be in and out in 2 days if it weren't for that. Clark was awesome to deal with and stopped by several times throughout the process to make sure the job was done right. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the market for a new roof or even repairs. They definitely get from us!

Excellent and timely service. Clark visited my home within 1 day, and 3 days later the job was done to my complete satisfaction. The communication was very professional - e-mail, followed by a formal, detailed quote describing the job in detail. A few days after the job was completed, I received by mail a formal contract and a 2-year warranty. Could not have asked for anything more. This level of professionalism is rare and is highly appreciated.

As water streamed down my living room window, I was so upset and wondering if I'd ever get a roofer to come over during that series of storms. Clark's Gable is the absolute BEST! We found them on Yelp, they scheduled an appointment to assess the situation and they were out doing the repair the very next day (in between the rain storms) . You don't know if the repair is good until the next rain storm, and lo and behold, THEY GOT IT RIGHT! Clark and crew are awesome! Total time of repair...3 hours! Thanks

We received bids from three companies, and decided to go with Clark's Gables. The price was fair, and quality materials were used. The workers were fast, efficient, and friendly. Even though the work was done between storms, they finished right on schedule. Our new roof looks great, and several neighbors have complemented it. Clark's Gables whole crew (office, workers, and owner) were awesome. They put a new roof on my house in 2.5 days (faster than estimate), foresaw future issues and addressed immediately, and cleaned up better than any crew I've ever worked with. I'm convinced I couldn't have hired a better company for the job!


The whole story:
Clark's Gables made our new-roof experience completely pain free! We had just remodeled our kitchen, and had a rainstorm on the day they installed our new cabinets. That evening, I discovered water damage coming down the face of one of those new cabinets...I was heart-broken. After spending money in the kitchen, the last thing I felt like doing was spending more on the roof.

No one wants to spend money on a roof. A Kitchen remodel, a car, new landscaping, sure! That's fun, and you get to look at it and appreciate it and use it! But a roof, well, it just sort of sits there, out of sight, mostly. Until rain begins to puddle in your house, then a roof seems like a pretty great idea!

So I called a couple contractors, and all of them, to my dismay, told me they could not patch our low pitch roof. I had been warned about this already when we bought the house, but was wishing it weren't true. Apparently a low pitch roof needs to be replaced once it starts leaking, because it inevitably has other failure points just waiting to leak. Clark was the only one to actually explain this to me. I got a few quotes, Clark's wasn't the highest, or the lowest, but he was the most personable and every review on yelp said the same things: courteous, knowledgeable, Clark would visit on-site himself, and they were fast!

We picked out shingle colors and gutters, signed the contract, and were all set for an end of Feb. re-roof. In the next two weeks during the rains, two more leaks sprouted up in different areas of our house. I was beginning to feel good about a whole new roof! I got an email from Rachel (fastest replier to emails, EVER) that they could start a bit early if we were able, yes please!

I had a three day quote, and they were done by 10 am on the third day. They finished early before a big storm came through that afternoon! I have never seen a crew hustle like this one, and Clark showed up each day to check in. They found a leak in our skylight, and took care of that. All of the crew was friendly and so nice, too. The kind of guys you want around your house!

That evening, we saw a leak, I honestly wasn't even worried, because of the great and honest service I had experienced so far. Clark and his guys were out the next morning and found the source of our problem...our chimney. A chimney is not a roof, and the repair they performed on the inside of it was not their responsibility. But they took care of it for me because they are great people, and I can't be thankful enough.

Every good thing I read in other's reviews proved to be true, and I would recommend Clark's Gables to anyone. The office staff, the crew, and the owner all excel at not only their jobs, but at being all around great people...thank you Clark's crew!

Clark re-roofed my home approximately 3 years ago. I put new gutters on the house at the same time by Clark's preferred guy. The work was great and the job was done quickly and professionally. I had an issue pop up with my gutters this past week due to all of the rain. I called Clark on a Sunday and left a message. Clark showed up the next day and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. With a smile.
It's great to know this company stands behind their work. So many out there don't. He is a very nice guy with a great attitude and a professional. I would recommend him highly to anyone and everyone.

Clark's did a great job on my roof and even ended up coming out earlier in the month than expected. I felt like Clark was very honest and professional. I had a previous estimate which just didn't add up, and luckily I got a 2nd estimate from Clark's.

I contacted Clark's along with two other roofing contractors about replacing the roof on my mother's house (they always say get 3 bids, right?). Ultimately I went with Clark's because he was straightforward about the work, the process, and his estimate was in line with what I expected (not the cheapest or the expensive bid), and he wasn't just the salesman - it was his company.

Somehow I got lucky this time and made an excellent choice. The work went well, it was quick, his workers were great and very personable. My Mom was dancing to the music coming down the chimney while they were working.

When all was said and done, Mom is really happy with the roof, the new gutters, downspouts, etc. and any/all concerns she's had were always handled. The new roof is so much nicer than the old deteriorated wood shake roof she used to have. What a great experience!

So yes, I certainly recommend that you get bids. Go through the process to get an idea of what's out there. But after that, save yourself a headache and call Clark's to do the job. I figure I've already done the research... so when it comes time to replace my roof, I can just save time and call them.
