Needed a quick turnaround on some roof repairs, and Clark Roofing came to the rescue! Toby is extremely responsive. He was able to provide a free estimate which was very reasonable. I couldn't believe they were able to come fix all of the damaged asphalt shingles on our roof the same day! Toby and his crew work very quick and did a great job with the repairs. I also appreciate it is a veteran-owned business. Highly recommended if you have any work roof-related.

We recently had the pleasure of hiring an incredible roofing company, and couldn't be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. During the big storm, Toby was super responsive and communicated directly with our insurance company about our roof including taking photos and updating his quotes to meet their needs. Toby and his team were punctual and did a very thorough job with our roof. They cleaned up every day which was a big plus for us. Toby communicated with us throughout the whole process, including sending us photos of damages, and gave us fair prices to meet our budget.

Frustrated.

I am not one to post negative reviews lightly. But here we go...

We recently purchased a home in Orcutt and discovered there is a leak around one of our skylights.
We have tried many times and companies to get an estimate on repairs, but have had no luck in getting anyone to return our calls or messages.
We submitted a request for quotes through Yelp (a process which has yielded great results in the past for other projects), and were happy to get a quick response message from Clark Roofing. The message asked me to sign up for a time for a phone consultation regarding our skylight. I did so, with a two-hour window as requested by Clark Roofing.
Well, that entire two-hour window passed by from 8 to 10 am today as I sat patiently with my phone handy, postponing any other calls and tasks. No one called, and still now seven hours after that window of time closed, we have yet to receive any sort of communication from Clark Roofing.
We had hopes that this company would be responsive and respectful of our time and potential business. Unfortunately, they have proven themselves unreliable.

I contacted Toby on a day when it was pouring rain. He immediately got all of my information and responded quickly to the residence. He did not charge me anything to go out there and check the roof due to a leak. Although, I did not go through with Toby's services I would 100% recommend him to anyone due to his excellent communication and response time!

All I can say is ""Wow, to our new roof."" Toby and his team are incredible! Not only is Toby a great communicator through the entire process, he is very thorough. He doesn't miss a beat and he is competitively and reasonably priced. His team is quick, efficient and does high quality work. He cleaned out our rain gutters, got rid of the wood rot and primed the wood so it was ready for painting, installed and sealed our new skylights, got rid of our chimney that we will no longer use, and cleaned up afterward. I would use him again in a heart beat. In fact, we will be for redoing our patio covering. Toby is honest and a friendly person to interact with. I highly recommend him and his team for any of your roofing needs.

I needed a new roof. My insurance company even cut me a check so I could get my roof fixed.
I contacted a few places and all the quotes came in pretty close to each other.
With a bit of a leap of faith I went with Clark Roofing, especially because Toby's communication was top notch - others really lacked communication skills when it came to questions I had about ways to save money, because all of the companies I contacted were a bit more than I got from my insurance company to fix my roof.
I'm very glad that I went with Clark Roofing, even with the setback of one of the workers quitting his first day on the job: It most certainly wasn't because of the boss, but rather the very hard labor that roofing is - the kid just wasn't cut out for the job.
Toby helped me figure some ways to save some money, always responded to my emails/questions within a day, and when it came time to get him up on the roof he got the job done in just a few days with the help of his main worker, and the last day, his two brothers.
Now, it'll be rainy season before I find out for sure if my leaky roof was fixed in the most important area, but I have faith because I have a lot more roof flashing up there, and in the right spots. I also saw Toby and his team working hard in the most critical area, which gave me more peace of mind.
The job is done, and everyone who has seen my roof, from neighbors to friends, have commented on how good the new roof looks, which is certainly a plus.
My new roof is certainly professionally done, but a guy and team with a great work ethic and great knowledge (it really shows).
Would I recommend Clark Roofing? Absolutely. There really were no hiccups in the process, the work is crisp, clean, and looks professionally done (as it should), not like I hired my friend's friend, who will ""do it for a fraction of the cost.""
If you're on the fence as to who to hire, I will say that I have the fullest confidence that Clark Roofing will take good care of you.
It also doesn't hurt that Toby is an Army Vet (I'm all about my fellow Vets) and still has that military work ethic (do the job, do it right, do it well, do it quick).
