When we filed a formal complaint, the company tried to scam us out of $2000 to ""fix"" the original issue. They tried to tell us we committed insurance fraud. We called our insurance company directly, who not only confirmed no such activity, but offered to support us in court if necessary. Avoid this company.

Mr. Castenada, after your completion of the replacement roof on Aug, 9, 2017 your reply that some will have slightly discoloration, this was not stated before I chose your service.

The shingles that I mentioned are completely discolored and an eyesore. I am requesting that you replace these at no cost.

Ruby and Carlos were great! They gave my roof a thorough inspection and were more than happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. I even called them after the estimate was given with more questions, which they were happy to address. They were able to fix my leak in about 2 hours within a week of the estimate. Great clean up also! Don't hesitate to give them a call.

CJ's roofing subcontracted the small job to fix a small leak on a flat roof with a deck. The small crew of three did a wonderful job. It took them a long time to get it done because I wanted them to take their time to fix the problem. Luckily, they were accommodating that way.
Sometimes, a small crew is good but sometimes it has a disadvantage. They worked all the way to Christmas Eve and finished around 3:30 pm. It's commendable that they finished the job but that also caused us to postpone a trip. That's OK. Roof is fixed and that is great!

Had them come to my house and handed me a estimate without even going on top of the room. Estimate was a fair so figured I would use them out of the 6 other companies I had given me quotes. Then I waited, and waited, and waited....and never heard back from them. I texted the wife and she never responded. I called the husband and he finally answered and said that he would call me the next day and schedule me an appointment to come out and talk to me. Well once again, I waited and waited and never did hear back from them. Regardless of how much roofing work San Antonio has, a company should have the professionalism to at least communicate with customers. If I couldn't reach them BEFORE me signing a contract or paying them, there is NO WAY I would've been comfortable hiring them!

Work was done quickly and efficiently. HOWEVER, asking for an itemized receipt to turn into insurance was like talking to a wall. I would never recommend them for that reason.

Ordinarily I would have given 5 stars, since this is the 2nd time we've used him,but this time,I can't. I gave him every opportunity to do the right thing,but he didn't. He left a door hanger that said once the job was completed,and he was given a check from me,or the insurance company,I would receive $100 cash back.Now that I'm trying to claim it,he's saying because he paid a handyman to do some touch up paint,he used that $100.We never approved any of that work be done. All we wanted was for the clean up be done,properly,because his workers left a lot of tar on the side of our carport,and I didn't think we should be the one's cleaning up with ""Dawn"",which they recommended.

After receiving 5 bids, I choose CJ's as the company to replace my roof. Carlos gave me a very competitive bid, his rating with the BBB and Angies list sealed the deal for me. He seems to be very passionate about his work!

2nd

Carlos and his team came and finished the removal and replacement of my roof in about 7 hours. Looks great, they cleaned up well after they were done. Thank you!

After some miscommunication, Carlos and his group came out and fixed an issue I had. After speaking with him, I know the job as a whole was done well.. I had to lower a star though due to communication issues.. But overall..satisfied with the work performed.

These people are scammers! Be careful- they put my roof in in 7-9 hours when I was at work. 2 weeks later in a heavy rain, my kitchen was flooded, my master closet carpet soaked. I called emergency plumbing, they and inspector discovered vents on roof were open and exposed and water went into walls. They denied it and when I suggested they would have to take responsibility they threatened me with a lien. This is still after waiting for original work to be completed inside. When I asked about that, they said that worked wasn't on the one of two contacts I supposedly signed that they turned in to the insurance. They are schemers for sure. I asked them how can you do this? I've worked so hard for my home which I just got 8 months ago! They don't care. Then they threaten me???
