Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Waited 3 hours for someone to come out. Never showed or called to say they couldn't make it. Very unprofessional! Stockton, CA

I do not recommend this business. They rescheduled on Friday and then didn't show up on Monday. When I called to cancel they said the appointment was moved to Tuesday.

I've already received other quotes and didn't need another. I see their reviews now - I don't recommend opening a Yelp plan because they reach out to everyone, poor reviews and all. Based on the reviews I wouldn't have even considered them.

Reviews can say a lot.

with requesting landscaping pros, this was one that responded, however, the name or services don't seem to include any requested services. my husband was impressed by the the rep, the plan and concepts ironically. unfortunately, the company has never reponded nor sent quote etc.

needless to say doing business with a non responsive company leaves a lot to be desired. thinking moving forward to an actual landscaping company & is their primary focus.

I requested an estimate from several roofing companies last year, including this company, through Yelp. This company put me on their calendar and didn't show up. I remember calling the company and receiving poor customer service, then someone followed up to see about rescheduling. I received the estimates from the other companies and ended up getting a new roof installed from another company, not this company.

I told this company in a Yelp message almost a year ago that I was proceeding with another company. From then up until today almost a year later, City Wide Roofing's scheduling department has been calling and texting me to get me re-scheduled for an appointment. This company has never acknowledged missing their original appointment window. Apologizing for being a no-show is all it would've taken to get the appointment rescheduled. My complaint went in one ear and out the other, so I had another company take care of my roof.

For some reason they seem to cycle through phone numbers often calling from a new number each time, never from the same number twice. The only thing their repeated calls and texts did was remind me to leave this review.

I already have a new roof. Check your Yelp messages and stop calling me.

Edit: 3 additional stars given for finally acknowledging me. This review is what it took to be taken off the call list, after telling someone last year on the phone I already had a new roof - Interdepartmental lack of communication I'm sure. 4 stars is better than 1 and I appreciate the company making assurances that they'll take measures to avoid a similar experience moving forward. Have a good one!

My home needed the roof replaced due to hail damage. A neighbor recently had his roof replaced by Citywide Roofing and recommended them. I was not disappointed. Mark assisted with the insurance claim process and was always available to answer questions. Lindsay contacted me weekly by phone to provide updates and address any concerns I had. Albert, Owner, made himself available by email. The roof looks great. Roof work was completed in one day. Cleanup was so good you'd never know they were there. The combination of excellent communication and excellent work made this my best contractor experience by far. I highly recommend Citywide Roofing

I received a cold call from ""Alex"" this morning trying to promote this company's services. He was extremely rude when I asked some simple, polite questions about why he had chosen my number to call, and then he hung up on me.

Please don't engage businesses that utilize illegal telemarketing practices.

They sent a ""project manager"" to my house for a re-roof estimate. He provided me a verbal estimate and showed the products they would use for the new roof. I was told that I would receive a written estimate in my email in the next day or two. A week and a half later, I had no email, I reached out the company and was told the ""project manager"" was no longer employed with the company. I was then told a manager would come to my house and provide me a new estimate for the new roof. 10 minutes later, they called me and said the new estimate would be almost double the price of the original verbal estimate and wanted to know if it was worth their time to still come out. The entire process was handled poorly from a customer service standpoint. Would not recommend them to anyone needing any work done.

I had a really bad customer service experience with an employee at CityWide. Not sure if this is just due to one new employee not being fully trained on customer communications, or if this is an ongoing issue with other employees.

CityWide contacted me asking if needed some remodeling work. We scheduled a visit for Sunday, March 7th so they could prepare estimates for me. The company then called me back to reschedule for Sunday the 14th. I agreed to the reschedule.

Somebody named Simon showed up at my house at 3 PM on Sunday the 7th. I told him that the visit was rescheduled but he insisted on doing it right then. Having somebody show up on the wrong day indicates to me that the company doesn't have its internal communications ironed out yet.

Since I still had free time that afternoon, I allowed them to continue with the visit.

Simon came with a colleague of his. She was a young woman and I don't remember her name. He bossed her around right in front of me. I expect professionals to treat others with politeness whether those people are customers or colleagues.

Simon wore his face mask below his nose and sometimes below his mouth. I expect professionals to show concern for the health of their customers.

Simon did not bring a tape measure with him even though the task required one. I loaned him my tape measure. He ordered his colleague (did not ask her, but ordered her) to hold the tape measure. She stepped on it rather than holding it to the ground with her hand. Don't step on a customer's tools.

Simon then ran with the other end of the tape measure until it was past the end of the tape. That's not how you use tape measures. As you pull the tape out, watch that it doesn't go past the end.

Simon over-measured the size of a concrete slab by two feet in each direction. I asked why he over-measured and he said it was to make sure he got the correct amount of dirt to refill after the slab was taken out.

Simon asked me which company installed my solar panels and which company manufactured them. He then tried to convince me that my solar panels, which were made and installed within the last year, were inefficient. Maybe he said this trying to convince me to replace my solar panels, which I won't do since they were installed by a reputable company.

Simon then proceeded to try and explain why my panels were inefficient. I told Simon that I own 5 patents on solar panel technology. As an engineer who did research on solar panels, I don't need to hear his opinion on this subject. Simon felt it necessary to argue with a customer who knows more about a particular subject than Simon does.

I asked the woman and Simon to give me estimates on two other projects, but they blew that off without even trying. If the company doesn't do certain kinds of remodeling jobs, I prefer them to just tell me rather than ignore my request.

I asked Simon to write up a cost estimate for me. His write-up does not mention the company name, company phone number, or company website. It was written on simple piece of paper rather than a professionally prepared company notepad. Perhaps Simon could explain how I would contact the company without its name, phone number, or website.

This review will stay up for at least 1 year. If the company can convince me that it trains its employees on customer service, I will consider removing or editing this review.
