My husband and I have been dreaming of a patio cover for years. We've been going back and forth on a design because we couldn't agree between a covered patio or a lattice covered one. When we finally reached a compromise and a design, and after getting quotes from other contractors, we decided to go with Ron and his crew. We had to undergo a few design tweaks because of the architecture of our existing house but Ron did everything he could to make our design happen. We wanted the pitch of the covered roof to be higher and city building codes won't allow it because it would hit our bedroom window. He offered to change the whole window at no cost to us at all. The whole process took a little longer than expected but that was because me and my husband are very picky with the kind of window we wanted (which had to be special ordered), but Ron accommodated that as well. We had a small misunderstanding with the type of wood to use for the patio cover but that was partly our fault. We didn't specify the wood in the contract (lesson learned). Ron did add waterproofing and staining of the wood as add on to make us happy. Plus the wood they used was similar to the wood we wanted and top grade, so we were satisfied in the end. I wanted big wood too and he delivered on that as well. My husband would have the crew add things here and there, and they were always accommodating. Overall, the project went down smoothly and we're very happy with to finish product. I have already recommended Ron to family members for their projects.

My experience with Ron and CID Builders has been great! For our initial appointment, he was on time, listened to exactly what we wanted and was very straightforward with his proposals and prices. Once we came to agreement and signed a contract, Ron's team got right to work. Ron always keeps me apprised of the schedule, stops by and checks up frequently and resolves anything that may come up quickly. As a bonus, he's a really nice guy and a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, the project is coming out great and I would highly recommend CID Builders. The pool is next and I can't wait!

We recently moved into a home that needed a tub remodel to accommodate my mother. It previously contained an 18 inch alcove tub (which was too high for my mom to use) and we needed to re-tile it into a shower. We interviewed several contractors for the job and ultimately chose another contractor. I had made an appointment with CID builders and later canceled it after we signed the contract with someone else.
CID called me later that day and asked if they could take a look at the job and give us a more competitive price. I was surprised, but agreed. Ron, one of the owners, arrived exactly when he said he would and gave us a better deal than any of the other contractors we had met with. We hired him on the spot and work began two days later. The remodel was completed when he said it would be (even with inspection). We are thoroughly satisfied with CID builders and will gladly recommend them to all of our friends and family. It's not easy to find a contractor that you can trust, but we feel that we have found that with Ron and CID builders. Thanks again!

Thanks CID :) Affordable home renovation and great service. Oren gets the job done. Even if there's an issue afterwards, he goes the extra mile to fix everything so you are happy with the final product. I definitely recommend :)

Very unhappy with Ron Darmon. Bait and switch on materials, and poor workmanship. It's a shame because he lied right to my face about materials, and we had it in writing. In the end, we finally agreed to a discount, but why not just use the materials you promised.

I had some remodeling done about a year ago. Oren was my contractor. He was VERY nice, VERY knowledgeable, very informative (was willing to educate me along the way about things that were new to me), very FAIR and sensitive to my budget. He helped me find solutions to my limited budget that I still appreciate today. It was a very fun experience to take down walls, expand my kitchen, and match my existing hardwood floors. LOVE my new A/C and am enjoying my new washer/dryer layout. I highly recommend CID, especially if you are lucky enough to get Oren.

We have wanted to remodel our kitchen for 15 years and 2017 seemed to be the right time. We interviewed 3 contractors and kept our fingers crossed that we chose the RIGHT team. Demolition is a dirty and painful time no matter how you look at it; however, CID BUILDERS were not only professional and talented, they would clean up everyday before quitting.

Ron Darmon ( the boss) delivered what he said he would as far as plans, time, and expertise. He took a kitchen from the 1960's and turned it into a very up-to-date, open air, gorgeous, center of attraction eatery. Ron listened to what we wanted; if he had suggestions, we were open to his professional advice. His head worker, Aaron, and his team were great also. The cabinets were handmade for our kitchen are magnificent!

If we said there were NO problems a tall, that would be a lie. Any little glitches were dealt with immediately and remedied.

We usually know what a company is really like by the way the employees act to the boss and to each other. It was obvious that Ron was well-respected by his crew and were willing to work during their break time, if needed.

We'll use CID Builders again and have referred them to friends. Thanks, Ron for an outstanding job!

My experience with this company was absolutely fantastic. Tony was the contractor and Jesus was the foreman on my job of remodeling my 2 bathrooms. These 2 men did the most incredible job. All the workers for this company were highly skilled and extremely pleasant. Very dependable in that they arrived on my property when they said they would be at my home. If there was a delay, I always received a phone call from Tony. The project started and ended as per the dates on the contract. My bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. They turned out better than I expected. I was extremely impressed with the customer service that I received working with Tony and Jesus. Their supervision of the work could not have been better. They were so easy to contact, immediately returning my phone calls and texts. They were so responsive to my questions and concerns. They took such pride in the work that was being done at my home. Next year, I plan on remodeling the kitchen. I am looking forward to another incredible experience working with this company. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who plans on refreshing or remodeling their home.

I have never written a negative review on Yelp but had to share my experience with this company.
We are starting our research and plans for a pool installation. I called CID and requested someone to come out for an estimate. The date was set and then last minute my appointment was canceled. Totally fine, things come up. A man by the name of Hector called to reschedule my appointment and was very apologetic for canceling so late. He offered to have ""the owner"" come out and also ""offer a discount"" for the inconvenience. I accepted his offer and appreciated his customer service.
The night of my estimate, I had an appointment run late. My husband was home so he met with the person who came out. My husband said everything went great and they seemed like a contender. I asked if there was an estimate left or if one was being sent. He sad no. I figured I would just follow up in the morning. That night I had a message on my phone from this company requesting I call them back.
The day after the estimate a very rude man called me, furious. He said that he was the owner and he had sent one of the co-owners to my home for the estimate. He began to question why I was not home and where I was. I was so baffled. Why should I have to explain myself to this intrusive person? I didn't understand the issue. The gentleman who came met with my husband. I was told that ""that was not good enough and YOU should've been home!"" I apologized for my appt going late but he was not accepting it. I asked him if they provide a paper/emailed estimate for the job and his response was ""Oh, NOW you want a paper estimate?"" Is this wrong of me to ask? The whole conversation was just so bizarre. I told him that I was not liking the direction and tone the conversation was taking and we would not be considering his company for our installation. He seemed taken aback. Needless to say I hung up. My only positive experience with this company was with Hector....thus giving HIM the one and only star. I was so excited to possibly use this company with all of the amazing reviews. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience.

I would like to modify my review of CID. I acted quite quickly and harshly. Ron did come out and explained to me that the roof was sealed properly but the downspouts must have had a leak around them so that is what was causing the leak in the apt. Hopefully once I hire someone to fix that problem all will be well.
