My husband and I had a complete main bathroom renovation - from jackhammering the foundation to make the slope for the drain, replacing windows, taking our shower and bath areas down to the studs (bath tub was relocated), plumbing, electrical and cabinetry. We are very happy with outcome, it is top notch work and our bathroom looks fantastic. On a job this size there were a few things that came up, but Tracy, the original estimator was always there to help from the beginning, picking out material, throughout the project (issues that arose), until the end. Sophia also kept things moving. Matt is very knowledgeable and addressed construction and design questions, before and during the project. The job was finished in a timely manner and the workman, especially Rene' and Roman who spent the most time on our job, are all hard workers. They also kept the area as tidy as possible under the conditions, which is important as this area is connected to our main bedroom. They were always considerate and professional. Peter, who did the pebble stone shower pan did a great job. And the fellow who did the tile work on the walls, which covers a whole wall, a large shower, and halfway up another wall for a stand alone tub, as well as the floor, did a quality job. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I do not like how the project was invoiced. Basically, the job is estimated as a package not itemized and broken down into material and labor costs. We already had 2 other bids that were itemized so we knew that their estimate was fair. But, when it came to adding, replacing or making changes it was not as clear cut as I would like to see. That being said, the project turned out beautiful, in a timely manner and at a fair price. In my opinion, not as many people who are satisfied with their project will take the time to write a good review as those who are unhappy when something goes wrong. Also, as the consumer you should do your homework. Ahead of time, we had a working design that was improved upon with the help of all of those involved. Thank you very much, Chriswell Home Improvements!!!

Gave a general estimate on the spot, but asked for a detailed estimate to send to the insurance company, and I never heard back from the company.

Chriswell recently remodeled my kitchen. They were very professional and helped with the design and the material choices to find something that fit our budget and style. When there were hiccups along the way, they stepped up and took care of things like you would hope that a reputable company would do. I would very much recommend them for any remodel job.

4/19/24-I have Coolwall Lifetime Warranty Paint. It is peeling. I have called numerous times, sent an email with pictures. This has been over 6 months. They have not taken care of it.
They even re-routed me to the manufacturer, who was super shocked that I was calling because Chriswell is supposed to take care of it. And also, at another occasion, sent a ""seller"" out to try and sell me on new product.
The project to paint my 1200 square foot house and garage was $30,000.
We spent it because it is lifetime paint.
But they are not keeping their end of the bargain!
Revised: 4/19/24-I have received a call from Chriswell. They are coming out with-in the week to evaluate and fix the problem. Because we have a new roof that has chipped the paint on the eves as well. He is going to discuss with me a fantastic price for repainting them. Thank you Chriswell for helping my home look great and stay looking great with Coolwall.
5 stars to come after they finish the job. :)

I am 100% satisfied with the work that CHRISWELL HOME IMPROVEMENTS completed on my house. They remodeled both bathrooms with new countertops, plumbing and lighting fixtures. In the master bath they expanded the shower and transformed it with elegant large tile walls and hand-laid pebble flooring; it is gorgeous. Chriswell also updated the kitchen with Quartz countertops and lovely backsplash. The overall result is the modern, clean, and attractive look I wanted.

Everyone at Chriswell was helpful, knowledgeable, accessible, and responsive. They took time to discuss my goals for the remodel and what I wanted, helped me pick materials and styles that would fit my needs, and were clear about pricing. I had not done a project of this magnitude before, but their professionalism gave me confidence that the work would be done well.

The work crew was very careful, explained what was going to happen each day, and treated my home as if it were their own. They were very careful to protect the rest of the house from the demolition dust. They cleaned up and put away their tools at the end of the day. I also got a call from the office each afternoon giving me the schedule for the following day.

I appreciate Chriswell's attention to detail and quality workmanship. They were dependable and dedicated to completing the work timely and within budget. I also appreciate that Chriswell is Veteran owned, they employ many veterans, and give back to the community. I highly recommend Chriswell Home improvements and will use them for any future projects.

Back in 2019, I had Chriswell replace all the windows in my home and they took care of my family well back then. The price was reasonable (not the lowest and far from the highest quote) and they made it very easy and smooth.

Fast forward to December 2023 and just scheduling an appointment for my in-laws home, took 3 calls and an online appointment. Once the day came for the appointment, they didn't show. I was waiting for an hour in a cold empty, under construction home. Tried calling and went straight to voice mail. Left a message and went home. They only offered a 5% discount for rescheduling after failing to at least give me the courtesy of telling me they could not make our appointment.

The only reason I'm not giving them a one star review is because of the great service I received back in 2019. I was really hoping to reward good service with a repeat but that will not be happening with Chriswell.

We had a wonderful experience working with Chriswell on painting the exterior of our house. For our home improvement project Dave Vanni was the area manager and Sal was the team leader, and they did excellent work. Dave spent a lot of time beforehand explaining how the project would proceed and describing the exterior coatings used for the wood and stucco. Dave patiently answered all our questions, and we had a good understanding of what to expect from this home project. We appreciated that Dave and his team performed their work efficiently and skillfully, and they operated amazingly like clockwork. Because Dave has a regular, experienced team, they have developed a routine focusing their daily work on your home project - Dave and his team up showed every day at the same time each weekday morning until the project was completed. Dave regularly updated us at the start and near the end of each day on the work progress, showing up in person and addressing any questions we had during the project. Dave and his team value dedication and quality in their work.

Before our home project, Dave oversaw several projects on our block over the years, and our neighbors highly recommended him for our project. We now concur with them: Dave and Chriswell are an excellent choice for your home improvement project.

Would not recommend. Poor/lack of communication. Unfinished job.

OCTOBER - Signed contract after hard sell (red flag) and salesman saying they can do what we wanted.
DECEMBER - Salesman said he needed to check with the admin team, NEVER got back to us, NEVER spoke to us again (red flag).
FEBRUARY - We saw CHI at the CalExpo home show and inquired about our contract. Shortly after we had someone calling me telling me they were going to send their ""best"" salesman to resolve the issue. When I mentioned the salesman's name, they said that was him (red flag). Meanwhile the office and the job foreman were contacting my wife not me (?) (red flag) to set up a date and time to address our concern.
MARCH - The foreman came over to see our concerns and agreed he could minimize it and do what we wanted. By the end of March on one days notice, the installers started the job. The installers said the salesman and foreman never wrote anything addressing our concerns. They had to redo their work, leaving a mess of sealant on our walls. When I asked about finishing up the job (paint, etc) installers said ""That's not in the contract"", and left me with unfinished trim and gave me a tube of sealant to do it myself (red flag).
APRIL - I finished the job. Fortunately, I am capable of cleaning up their mess, sealing it myself, and painting it myself.

TLDR: After telling 3 people at Chriswell what we wanted, they did what they wanted anyway. When they corrected it, they left a mess that I had to finish.
