We used Chris on our cabin and when I showed up the felt paper looked to be pieces of it and not a full roll and II want to say some of the roof had no felt.

Used before so I thought I'd use again. Called for service. Extremely rude. He answers by not identifying himself and instead answers ""what do you want."" Doesn't deserve one star. Terrible business practices.

This kind man went above and beyond my request for a roofing receipt from 2017. He hand delivered it to my house. Says alot about the charm and integrity of the residents of Wrightwood. He's been a local roofer for over 25 years and I have not had any leaking or problems with his quality craftsmanship.Thank you Chris I would definitely recommend you.

its ashamed you cant give a zero rating be warned he is does not know what he is doing!. we have a barn 10,000 sq ft and a 3800 sq ft house the roof never leaked before he replaced it. we have 4 skylights they never leaked until he finished he said the one in the laundry room needed to be replaced ok never leaked until we put on the new roof....we bought a new skylight on his recommendation over an additional 500.00 it leaked worst than the original his only reply ""i hate skylights"" we found out he never put the proper flashing now we have to tear off most of the roof and re roof it to the tune of 8k save yourself the heartache and your hard earned money this guy should not be in business. we reported him to bbb to no avail find another roofer

Chris was amazing, and I was happy with the low cost he provided. My staircase was pretty old, and unfortunately it broke on him when he was installing my roof. Luckily, he didn't get hurt, and he took the time to fix my staircase on his own. He was very polite, and I will certainly order from him again.

I called this company to schedule an appointment to fix my roof. It was the first company that came up on the website Home Advisor and the reviews looked good. I called and a man picked up the phone with ""Hello."" I asked if this was the roofing company, to which he replied with an irritated ""yes."" I said I'd like to schedule an appointment. The man said with a very rude tone, ""FOR WHAT?!"" Obviously this is not he kind of customer service I expect from someone who I would be letting into my home. So I hung up and went on to call the next company. After I spoke to the other company, I had a voicemail waiting from the man at this number. The message said: ""YOU JUST CALLED AND HUNG UP ON ME. DON'T F*CKING CALL ME AGAIN!""
Certainly would not recommend this company to anybody. There are plenty of other places who will provide courtesy and customer service. I'm disappointed that Home Advisor would allow such a company on their website.

My family had used Chris Booker Roofing in Wrightwood, CA and stated they were happy with him and the work he did so against my ""gut instinct"" agreed to use him as his price was reasonable and my Mom's roof in Wrightwood does look amazing. That was a few years ago, this is now and I have to say, the most unprofessional, unethical and just in general, a man with an attitude +10. Would absolutely not recommend him to anyone for any reason whatsoever, not even to build a roof for a dollhouse.

Mr. Booker came very highly recommended by my neighbors, who's roof he recently replaced. My neighbors are very well known and respected residents of Wrightwood. Unfortunately, Mr. Booker does not, under any circumstances, return telephone calls. I've called him six times... crickets. He also refused to speak with me while completing my neighbor's roof. While he was up on their roof, I asked him if I could leave a note on his truck with my contact information so we could discuss my project, he incoherently grunted something but nodded 'yes'. He never contacted me. I get the impression he simply isn't a happy person, and that perhaps he shouldn't be in this line of work any longer.

Chris did a roof job for a friend of mine. I didn't hire him personally. However, since it was an insurance claim Chris wanted to be paid in full up-front instead of dealing with the insurance company. His total price ended up being $400 more then what he originally quoted. Since my friend didn't have the money to pay him I offered to help out and pay Chris his total amount after he finished the job. When I looked at the invoice I noticed the total was written over a few times which didn't look clear. I tried calling him multiple times but he never answered. I've left a couple messages explaining who I was, why I was calling, etc. He never got back to me and now I'm chasing down my reimbursement with the insurance company and hoping they honor his bad receipt. A simple return call would have diffused the situation.

It is hard to find a really good roofer. I can not comment on Mr. Booker's work as I did not hire him to repair my roof. My comment concerns the lack of follow-through. After the first big rain I contacted Mr. Booker to repair my roof because it was leaking and staining the ceiling. Booker Roofing has very high ratings on Home Advisor and here on Yelp which is why I decided to call him. After I called him and waited a day or two I got no response back. I then called him a second time and left a message. It was during the height of the rain storms so I know he was busy. He did call me back but said that he was swamped and would call me back after he checked his schedule. That was a week ago and he has never called back. I have moved on and contracted with my second choice of roofer because he made the effort to give me an estimate and followed through on the whole process. It is a shame because the reviews paint a picture of an A+ roofer but I would never call him again because of the frustration and lack of follow through.
