Whatever you do, DO NOT use Chontas Roofing! (or their shadow company PAC LLC) Derek Chontas, Ty Porter, etc.
We contracted with Chontas Roofing and Construction through their salesman Tyler Porter for 3 metal roof replacements due to damage from Hurricane Ian. We paid them according to the schedule of payment in the contracts. We found out after 2 of the jobs were ""completed"" and the 3rd (our personal residence) was 2/3 paid for and the material was put on the roof, that the first 2 permits had not had inspections and our home HAD NO PERMIT ISSUED AT ALL !! We have now received a plethora of lien notices from subcontractors, material suppliers, and others that we didn't even know existed. (we were told that no subcontractors would be used) Apparently, they take the money and never pay their suppliers or subcontractors. We now will be forced to defend ourselves legally for jobs that we paid for in good faith. that these 3rd parties have placed liens against our properties.
I have also since had an expert inspect all 3 properties, and there are serious workmanship issues with the ones that are ""finished"" and our residence is only partially done. They predict water intrusion from unfinished/improper work.
Possible complete removal may be required due to no inspections!!!!!!!!
We have been put in a horrible situation by these people after paying them over 70,000 dollars. If you have been scammed by this company/people, please contact me at [email protected]. I have contacted the DBPR and the State's Attorneys office and others. Criminal prosecution is possible and I will share knowledge/information to stop these predatory people.

RUN! After giving their representative, Ty a deposit of $14,500 for a carport and shed, 17 weeks later, we still don't have a Permit. I recommend you stay away from this company.
