Our family-owned business started in 2019, we bring over two decades of experience to our clients. Before we opened our doors, we gained valuable experience in the industry.

Jose, affectionately called Cheveto entered the field as a carpenter in 1999, where he gained experience at five construction companies from 1999 to 2018, earning a name as a skilled carpenter in Salinas and the surrounding Monterey County.

In 2018, Jose realized it was time to start his own company in Salinas, offering the same quality services he had delivered for two decades.

The team at Cheveto Construction believes that it’s possible to create a home environment that our clients will cherish through quality workmanship and competitive pricing.

Jose Alberto, or Cheveto started his career as a carpenter in 1999 after graduating from the apprenticeship program at the Carpenters Training Committee.

From 1999 to 2018, he was employed by five construction firms as a dependable carpenter in Salinas and the greater Monterey County.

After two decades of working for others, Jose realized he had the skills to launch his own company and offer the same level of services that made him a trusted carpenter.

This is how Cheveto Construction was founded. The business was created with the vision of providing exceptional home enhancement services that are budget-friendly. Jose loves developing residential environments for residents throughout Salinas and Monterey County.
