Our family-owned business started in 2019, we have more than 20 years of industry experience to the table. Before launching our own venture, we developed our craft in the industry.

Jose, or Cheveto as many know him started his career in carpentry in 1999, where he was employed by five different builders from 1999 to 2018, earning a name as a skilled carpenter in Salinas and the surrounding Monterey County.

In 2018, Jose realized it was time to start his own company in Salinas, offering the same quality services he had delivered for 20 years.

The team at Cheveto Construction believes that it’s possible to create a living style that residents will love through quality workmanship and reasonable costs.

Jose Alberto, or Cheveto entered the carpentry field in 1999 after finishing his apprenticeship at the Carpenters Training Committee in Morgan Hill.

From 1999 to 2018, Jose worked for five different construction companies as a reliable carpenter in Salinas and the greater Monterey County.

After two decades of working for others, Jose recognized his potential to launch his own company and offer the same level of services that made him a trusted carpenter.

This is how Cheveto Construction was founded. We started this business with the vision of providing top-tier home renovation services at reasonable prices. Jose loves developing living spaces for homeowners throughout Salinas and Monterey County.
