TLDR: Andy and his crew are great, his prices are super competitive, and their work is fantastic.

I called Andy for a quote, and he came right on schedule, the same day. Right out the gate I liked Andy more than the other 4 roofing companies I had come out. He was communicative, wasn't pushy, or sales-y. He was transparent about what his ballpark of the cost and timeline for the job would be - both of which were significantly lower than any of the other companies. His price was HALF what some of these other guys wanted to charge for a major roofing job (tear off shingles, remove shake roofing, install plywood, and re-shingle). Not to mention, these other companies tried to jack up other things like manufacturers warranties, and other nonsense just to squeeze more from the job.

He said his crew would show up at 7am, they were at my house at 6:30am ready to work. They were respectful of the property and my neighbors, easy to communicate with about my dogs, cleanup, and schedule, and worked very hard - and fast! Start to finish the job was 4 days, with another day lost for city inspection. The other companies tried to sell a two-week job at least.

Every day the jobsite was left clean, and his crew spent almost 45 minutes blowing down all the surfaces and sweeping up after teardown, which impressed me. Andy and his crew were very accommodating with my request for skylight installation, and worked hard to make sure we got what we wanted.

Their price ended at what was quoted - a huge deal in my book. The work looks amazing, and I really appreciate them. I referred them to my mother-in-law and neighbor to get jobs done right after, they crushed it.

Andy came by to give me an estimate on my 500 plus sf patio cover. Initially I decided on a different roofing company. Unfortunately they never came through with a start date. So Andy sent me a text over 3 weeks later confirmed his estimate. Because of the rain, it delayed another week. Demolition and start of roof replacement 40 foot X 12.5 foot finish 95% of job. Leaving side corners uninstalled because of breakage during demolition. Andy and his crew Chavez Legacy Roofing. Started searching around for matching replacement corners. Located them and finished the job. Chavez Legacy Roofing kept their word and did a great job. Andy text me on all delays and was very communicative throughout the process. I really liked the fact that Andy did not ask or mention final payment until All was completed.

Arrived on time and performed great quality work in making the repairs to my roof. The work crew was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with their work. Overall a great experience and solid value pricing. I was not disappointed at all in choosing them.

This guy wanted to charge me $2500 for a small leak that was around the chimney on top of the roof. And supposedly a missing part around the chimney. Didn't show me any pictures of the problem just gave me a quick quote. I had another company come by got on the roof took pictures of the problem (which was a Small leak around the chimney NO PARTS were missing) put some sealer around the chimney and didn't charged me a penny for it. This guy is rip off just wants money in his pocket.

Hired Andy to build my new roof almost 2 months ago. As of today I only have a pile of tiles that have been delivered and no one installing them. He does not respond to phone calls or text messages and now sends all my calls to voicemail. Was supposed to come last weekend to install and did not show up, then was supposed to come during the week and again no call, no show. If he doesn't come this week then I will have to get someone else to finish the work he started and was contracted to do, then I will have to file a claim for damages through Yelp with their service guarantee as well as a complaint and damages through the CA CSLB licensing board. Hopefully I hear back from him soon!

Just an update on my last review. since then, Andy has come out to repair the broken tiles as quoted on our initial agreement. I do have to say Andy's quote was by far the most reasonable and affordable for the amount of work that had to be done. Now that the work is finally fixed, I no longer have to worry about any possible leaks seeping through or tiles falling and cracking. we're officially ready for the rainy and windy season. Thank you Andy.

Called Chavez Roofing for a quote and Andy quickly responded and came by to inspect the roof damage that same day. Received a very fair quote to repair the leak, replace broken tiles, and seal all pipe. Andy made an effort to squeeze my appointment into his schedule. I needed someone to come out and do a roof inspection and the only one that was willing to come out, because it was a small repair was Chavez legacy roofing. This is the second repair he has fixed
Both minor but he was quick and thorough. Used his drone to show me the roof. He looked for other problems and gave me pictures of the roof. He knows what he is doing and willing to go an extra
Step to make the customer happy. Definitely will call when I need future repairs.
