They done a huge repair on my roof. I`ve been looking for someone in Tampa bay and northern Clearwater area to come fast as I saw a water on my ceiling. At first approach it was a small leak, but after their forman James inspection it turned to a big job. But he was right, it was a real hole in it under shinglas. The roof was really old, that is true. Would say they have been rapid with response and done all preparations really quick. Special thanks to David, the estimator. He was really nice and helpful and I`ve got an extra discount from him after a short negotiation. The price was super reasonable and the job was done in 2 days. Excellent! If You are going to deal with them I advise to negotiate, other things you cant wory about.

My experience with Charlie's Roofing and Waterproofing was nothing short of amazing. I had hail damage, and ranging from roof inspection and insurance claim to the finished roof the journey was painless. Rick White was the point man and he answered all of my concerns. The crew worked efficiently and neatly. I couldn't be happier with my new roof.

I selected Charlies Roofing as they were recommended by someone I know. I was not going to use them as i did not feel confident. I should have trusted my gut. The work appears to be good no issues. However as someone posted in a previous review, they were careless and unwilling to take responsibility for actions or miscommunications. There was a miscommunication for upgraded material that was not clear. I ended up paying over $1,100 more than expected. I had no problem with paying but as someone mentioned Charlies roofing is not willing to work with the customer to create a positive customer experience. Not to mention i was threatened that a lien would be put on my house 1 week after the insurance company sent the final payment. Very disappointing that a company that has a 30 year track record values their customers with a certified letter. The job was completed in the beginning of January and the final payment from insurance and my deductible were paid by the 2nd week of February. I immediately was told a lien would be put on my house if i did not pay the additional $1,100 amount they were requesting. Wow, definitely not a positive customer experience. What an insult.

I don't ever write reviews, much less bad reviews. I almost didn't for this company. But, I wanted to try and spare others the expense and frustration that I have had since choosing this company to do my roof.

Run from this company. I saw one other bad review but my realtor gave me the number so I decided to risk it. Big (expensive) mistake. They broke a panel off my side gate and didn't even bother to close it (it was closed) leaving the back yard unsecured. They damaged the front paneling of my house, I assume while removing the old roofing, and didn't bother to repair it. They didn't even reattach wires they'd detached, leaving them obviously sagging. They also ""clean up"" their work but I found nails, little metal pieces, and wood chips allll over my back yard. The lady buying my house has a young daughter. I had to go through and clean up after these roofers.

Of course, they refused to admit any of it was their doing. They begrudgingly did sort of fix their mistakes, when we said they would get paid when they finished the job. We still had to fix a little bit ourselves.

Then, we got the invoice. Don't bother getting an estimate because it will not reflect the invoice, by a couple thousand dollars. I should have gone with the people who did my parents house (Shingle Master's Roofing). Shingle Master's Roofing cleaned up with a magnet, finding every nail, etc. They did not break or damage anything. Their estimate was very accurate and included repairs. They were fast, polite, and professional. And their prices were very reasonable.

My experience with Charlie's Roofing is that they are deceitful, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility for their actions.

Starting home construction projects can be overwhelming, unless you get the right contractors. Charlie's Roofing was professional from day one and continued through the entire project. Pete was so helpful and happy to guide me through processes I was unfamiliar with. I would recommend Charlie's Roofing over and over again. We got 5 estimates, but I always knew we would go with Charlie's because their presence, pricing, and professionalism were over the top. They go above beyond. Thank you for doing such a great job. We love our new roof!

I needed a roof on my rental unit...I got 3 quotes....Charlie's was the least expensive, but I had to check out the company also. This is a good company....They came by my work for me to sign the paperwork....called in the deposit....they did a great job....very professional....and they clean up after!!
