Before the storm had small wind leak on roof.So far no problem or leak problem resolved. Price was reasonable. The guys that work they also clean up the area they work. Would high recommend them.

Charlie is smart and HONEST!!!!

TL/DR: He educated me on roofs when buying a house, did a free inspection, and did NOT sell me anything because he said the roof was fine!

Buying a new home, inspector noted ""aggregate loss"" on an 11 year old roof, which sounded like not a big deal. Called Charlie to do a free inspection, and he explained that aggregate or ""granule loss"" can often mean ""Your roof looks fine, but it's actually old and needs to be completely replaced."" He also explained that even if I'm not worried about ocassional leaks, if granule loss is too significant, the home insurance inspector, who shows up AFTER you've moved in, will give you 60 days to install a new roof or else they cancel your insurance.

Funny thing, it didn't feel like he was trying to sell me anything, just helping me understand why I needed an inspection by a real roofer so I could ask for credits from the seller if need be.

I called him on Saturday, he met the agent to do the inspection on Monday, and he called right afterwards to tell me that the roof does NOT need to be replaced, got some years left in it.

Charlie talks fast and talks a lot. But, anyone who understands the dangers of ignoring a roof as well as he does and also makes sure that you don't pay for something you don't need is someone you can trust. I didn't pay him a dime, but a few years from now, when the roof DOES get old, I know who I'm calling!

Roof installed in 2015 and started leaking in three spots in 2016 - around a rooftop vent pipe and through the roof exiting through the soffits in two different locations.

Charlie came out to look at the leaking soffit area and, instead of fixing the source of the leak on the roof, he simply added more compound where the leak was exiting through the soffit.

Shockingly poor communication skills when replying via email and over the phone. Email transcript below:

Me (a week after not receiving a response to my previous email): ""Hi Charlie,

Did you receive my previous email regarding the issue I'm still experiencing with water leaking from my soffits?""

Charlie: ""ok""

Me: ""Charlie,

Thanks for the response. Does that mean you're going to come out and repair the leak? If so, when should I expect you?""

Still waiting on a response from that last email I sent September 4th (it's October 11th at the time of this review).

A year later they sent a bill to my husband's property manager for a roof replacement, when they only fixed the leak. They don't have proofs of replacement but charging you 10 times more than they should. Fixing a leak and replacement of the roof are quite different things.

Impossible to get in touch with. He says he'll return your call and always forgets. That being said, I did use him for a three story townhome that nobody would touch. The repair was not to my satisfaction so the guy came back and fixed it.
