Harold M.CI Roofing re-roofed our 63-unit condo association. As part of that job they were to flash around 3 skylights I had newly installed. They claimed it took them 11 hours--a ridiculous amount of time as confirmed by 2 contractors. Any self-respecting roofer could have done that in a few hours, not 1.5 days. (Note that the cost of the flashing was extra--and almost double what the skylight installer would have charged.) Thus they are scalpers trying to make money on extras that they did not include in the bid. In explaining this they said they charged for picking up the flashing--but they had a sheet metal worker on site, and drove up daily from Oxnard, so no need to bill me for a separate trip. Their work may be good, but they are rip-off artists--beware.
