We just had these guys out to do an inspection of a roof on a house we intend to buy. The inspector did not walk onto the main section of the roof, claiming he could 'see it from here'. We asked that he place a light weight sheetmetal cap back on a roof jack that had come off in a windstorm last night, and he refused to do so. He was at the jobsite for only a few minutes, and provided us with no service or information worth having. Very disappointing.

We had Chandler/Ham put a new composition roof on our home complete with new gutters and down spouts, ridge vent system ventilation, and 3 tube lights(like sky-lights).
He was one of 3 bidders on this work. We choose Gary Ham because he was
competitive on the pricing, and, because 26 years ago he put a new shake shingle roof on this same house. Both jobs went well and we are very pleased. He handled all the permits and provided lien- free releases.
I recommend Chandler/Ham Roofing, and Gary Ham is very good to work with.

We were recommend this company for a roof inspection and some gutter work on a new house we were purchasing. Roof inspection undertaken at a good price. First rain of through season had water coming through our ceilings. Thankfully the roofer found the problem straight away and resolved it...chandler ham had missed a huge slit on the felt and a flashing missing which left a big hole on a vent. They also passed the gutter work to a third party contractor....who was probably the rudest people i have ever had to deal with. Of course on pointing this out to chandler ham it is of course not their problem but everyone else's. One month on i am still awaiting a promised return call from Gary ham.
You pay for the service you get...if you value your property DON'T use chandler ham.

I was lead by a reference. they installed roof and downspout. But they did not complete the work connect downspout to ground. I contacted them via email and phones. They never responsed. Later, I found that they did not finish work on roof. I need to spend extra money to fix them. I will never recommend them to my friends.

One of our friends recommended them for our roof. We found their price quote reasonable and detailed. Gary, the owner, is a very professional person to work with. They were fast, efficient and finished the work as promised. They followed all the paperwork required by our city and the permit was approved without any issue. We are very pleased with our roof and would recommend Chandler Ham highly.

Roof repairs were done by Chandler Ham in October 2011. Excellent! They fixed an area that was previously messed up by someone else and did new repairs on a few other areas. They did not push for a new roof, were timely, professional, honest and made sure everything was picked up and clean as before they came. We would recommend them and use them again.

We had our roof done by Chandler ham in Jan 2011. in september 2011 we had some funky developments with shingles in a small area and requested Chandler ham to look into it since there is warranty. Had to call a couple of times, but then Rob, came by , took a look & explained it was because the gutter was separating- confirmed that the shingles were ok and he put in a few nails to attach the gutter back to roof even though we hadn't engaged them to change the gutters at time of putting the roof. Thank you Rob & Chandler Ham.

We hired them to replace our roof las August. Chandler Ham Inc completed it in 5 days and with excellent quality. We don't have any trouble for the past wet winter in Pleasanton. I definitely recommend them for roofing work to my friends.

They did roof inspection when I bought this house and they did not find that skylight and valley for the whole house were installed incorrectly. They just recommended me to install flashband to prevent leakage. They are rediculous. Get away from them.
