We just ended our contract with Champion Restoration and Roofing because of one thing and one thing only, a big fat lie/SCAM! Eric Bosley made one very big mistake. He obviously took us for fools. I made the mistake of leaving my house for maybe an 1.5-2 hours to pick up some much-needed laundry from my mother since all my clothes are wet. On my way back to my home I received a call from Eric stating frantically that I have a gas leak in my house he smelled gas in my den and has walked outside, called the emergency gas hotline and told me someone was supposed to arrive within 30 minutes. I responded by telling him ""oh my gosh, I'm on my way home now it should take me about 45 minutes"" then he proceeded to immediately respond with "" oh, oh, they're pulling up now actually let me let you go."" He calls me back 20 minutes later, literally, and says ""OK the leak is fixed they just left the house I'm going to start working again, we are good to go. They left me with a $285 bill which I will forward on to you!"" (I asked him to do it right then and there and he acted like he was doing it on his phone, The email never came through so my husband asked him again and still no email with contact info and a bill from centerpoint). In my mind I saw big red flags
So, as soon as I arrived back to my home I immediately asked him to show me the repair (as A ten-year homeowner, I am aware that when the gas company comes to inspect/repair your pipes they tag it). He became flustered instantly and it was quite obvious. He started beating around the bush trying to show me where my gas lines are located outside my home then proceeds to bring me inside my home and show me where my gas lines are located under my gas stove (duh, of course I know that), so I again asked him ""please show me the repair!"" He was quite literally sweating by this point... It was like catching a kid with his hand in the cookie jar! When he finally brought me to the den where he ""smelled gas,"" he showed me a picture of a little knob in the closet and then tells me that is where the gas technician made the repair... He removed the knob and must've patched it up. I responded to him by saying that if he had repaired it and took it out of our closet why wasn't it there before and as I looked closer at the picture I noticed that knob was actually from a piece of my husband's workout equipment (in picture) which I found shortly after and showed him asking him to explain but he could not!
To be sure, we called Centerpoint energy, our gas company, to confirm if they had sent a technician out to our property at all that day... they did not! My neighbor also confirmed to me that she was in and out of the house during that time frame and never once saw a gas truck that would normally come to your house (for a very thorough inspection) and always puts out big bright cones to make neighbors aware.
I will conclude this review by noting that Jesse, might or might not have been aware of the situation as we intentionally did not inform him... We just had one priority and that was getting the water damage cleared from our home. We did not want any drama between partners to prevent the demo (which was a four day process btw!!!) going on.

I have used this roofing company to do my house's roofing replacement. At the beginning till the end of the job, the project manager is named Eric was the person I contacted during the project. He seemed ok to contact with. However, after the job was done and the payment received, and I contacted him for my receipt. He has never sent it to me. And never answers my calls and text me back. I think its after customer service is very bad. I will never recommend my friends to this roofing company.
