Had a person come out to evaluate roof on 3.7.2024. Walked on the roof took pictures and said would get an estimate for identified repairs. No estimate sent. Second person came out 5 days later identified repairs needed and took pictures. Said would take a day to get estimate. 5 days later no estimate. Hired another company identifying a completely different repair needed. CFL is not recommended. Do not trust them since both their contractors sent out identified different issues then another company came out and said nothing about what the 2 CFL contractors told me verbally. SHADY!

The worse roof company I have ever deal with. There is a reason why they lower their price compared to other companies. Is not to be competitive, is because they do a very poor job. They finished my roof and said everything was good. Then I noticed shingles were not put correctly. Took them 3 month to come fix some of them. But they did not fixed everything. Pay the money and deal with a reputable honest company. Samuel, Ruby, Christina and CFL management are a bunch of crooks.

Excellent experience with CFL Roofing after getting out of a contract with another roofing company who was looking to drain my insurance and cheat me out as well. You're not going to find that here. You WILL FIND excellent service, quick quotes with fair pricing, friendly staff who will follow up with you on all task with a smile. I'm a very difficult consumer because I want things perfect, and I change my mind over and over , but it was never a problem for them. John, Dustin, and Nelly assisted me with everything from replacing my entire roof, gutters, and drywall replacement. My roof was done in one day and the dumpster company they use picked it up that same day . I'm extremely happy with the final result!!

What a terrible company. I had them do a roof repair and they used the wrong color shingles and now they are refusing to correct their mistake. You look at these pictures and tell me if you think they used the correct color. I will update this review if they do anything to correct their mistakes.

We wish to commend Mr. Sam Edwards, (Project Manager). He went over and above to please us. When ever we called him with some incidental maladie, Sam was there that day. CFL was doing a roof on the corner of our street, and we approached Sam to look at our roof. He stopped by later that day, and the rest was history. The nine Men and Women had my roof done in one day, working 12 hours of really hard labor. They replaced the wood (where necessary), and all the drip edge.

The Women worked as hard as the Men, and when they were finished scraping, and lifting the material, they cleaned the debris from the entire property. We are quite pleased with our new roof. Sam helped us emendationally, we hit the lottery with Sam.

PSA: Please be careful with CFL ROOFING
Before you sign a contract with them do your homework, do your research! And whatever you do...DO NOT sign an AOB (assignment of Benefits). Do not give them or anyone that much power over your money/Insurance claim. I learned my lesson.
After getting denied through my insurance, CFL put me in contact with an adjuster who was able to get my roof approved. Once that happened, CFL contacted me to get started on my roof. They needed me to sign paperwork to get the permit pulled. Their price??? $17, 490 to replace a shingle roof on a 1490sq ft one story house! Yes ...You read that correctly. Read it again: seventeen thousand, four hundred and ninety dollars.!!!!
Beware! Their agreement has two entries, the first price you will see is actually NOT the price you will pay it's the amount of the (first check). Keep reading because below that is a significantly larger number... the (agreed price) or the price you will actually end up paying at the end of the job! Its confusing because where you sign is aligned with that first amount the (first check). Read before you sign. Thankfully I caught this before I handed in my signed paperwork.
I was happy with them initially, I even recommended them to neighbor and lastly decided to also use them for my rental property. This is where I discovered what was really happening. For my Primary residence I signed an AOB, they dealt directly with my insurance. The check even had their name on it. For my rental I did not sign an AOB, my contract was with the insurance adjuster, not CFL roofing. The check was not made out to them this time. Naturally, after receiving that ridiculous quote I became suspicious and started to do my own research. (I should have done it before this).
I got quotes from 3 different roofing companies. All within $500-$700 from one another but still in the same ball park area. Compared to CFL who was charging me thousands of dollars above those quotes for same exact property! When I asked CFL for an explanation I got ""costs of material and labor have gone up"". Their quote didn't even come close to the others, in fact they were about 7k + more than the other reputable roofing companies. So, unless they were replacing my roof with 14K gold shingles with diamond trim, their answer was absolutely not good enough for me. I would have probably recommended this company with a 3- 4-star rating because the roof on my primary residence was replaced nicely. However, I cannot support a company that conducts business like this. I unfortunately, have lost all trust in them as a professional company. Companies like these that take advantage of consumers are the ones that end up on channel 9 news. If you use them, do so with caution.
