I really liked this guy Rick. He was on the money when he arrived to see what I needed done and showed up promptly to do the work. A very personal man unlike some other reviewer said. He did a great job and also saw something else that needed fixing. He didn't charge extra for that. I'm very pleased with his work. The repair job matches my shingles exactly.

This guy is a jerk! I called this company to ask if they do smoke tests to find roof leaks, as I am trying to rule out sources of water damage in my home. He thought it was a stupid question and hung up on me. Don't bother with this company.

Called Rick solely based on reviews. I wasn't disappointed!! He was very professional and knows what he's doing. And...he answers his phone! It's rainy season and we had tons of rain yesterday, so I know roofers are BUSY!! Rick set our appt and was here on time. He assessed my roof and fixed it in no time, saving me money!! It's gonna rain hard the next 3 days, so thanks to Rick, I won't have to be worried.

Because of ALL positive reviews Century Roofing was high on our list. Because of what happened to us I believe that I must post a ""heads up"" or is it a ""Yelp Up""? I would give minus checks if I could! We have had two other estimates so far and they were very sincere and professionally done. Rick was supposed to show up yesterday at 10:00 a.m. or close to it. He did not and did not call. So, I called him. He said he would come by today at 2:00. At least he did that. He seemed ill at ease and made a rude comment or two which I said did not sound professional. He did go to the roof even though the ladder seemed too rickety. He said a lot of bad stuff about the roof. (Well, that's why we are getting estimates for a NEW roof.) He said that he had 50 years of roofing experience and knew what there was to know. As he was taking his ladder to his truck I asked him if he would have better equipment for the workers. He replied, ""I'm not taking the job."" He said this while smiling all of the time. I asked him, ""Why?"" He replied, ""I just don't want to do it."" We spent parts of two days waiting for his estimate. I guess with all of the rain, Rick can ""cherry pick"" his customers. To NOT give an estimate or a reason for not doing the work is so NOT PROFESSIONAL and mean. In our 29 years here in Fountain Valley this has been the WORST estimate experience we have ever had. Yelp let us down! A long time neighbor suggested that we check with nearby realtors because they may know some good companies. If you want a jerk roofer, Rick of Century Roofing is your man!

I had Rick at Century Roofing out to my home in Long Beach to fix an upstairs leak. First of all, HE ANSWERS HIS PHONE. I like that in a business! Then he arrived on time, expertly figured out my problem, took care of what needed to be done, and made recommendations about future problem areas that I hadn't noticed. I trust this company with my business and will recommend Century to friends and family.

Rick came out saw the problem with a leak at connecting neighbor's roof. My roof was the problem he gave me a bid came the next day & fixed the problem was VERY nice & very reasonable. I will certainly recommend him to friends & use him again if we have any other problems with rentals or our own home

Rick, the owner of Century Roofing, is one of the hardest working guys I now know and makes sure your roof comes out exactly the way he says it will. He's very honest too and will tell you if you might not even need a new roof or simply just a repair. With our new roof, he did a lightening fast job (3 days!), and that's with rebuilding the entire underside of it first. Plus, he works just as hard as his crew and is always the first one to show up and usually the last one to leave. Getting a new roof is messy, dusty, noisy and NO FUN, but Rick made sure everything went as smoothly and as quickly as possible - and all for a great price! Plus...except for our gorgeous new roof, when they were done, you couldn't even tell they were there because everything was cleaned up so perfectly. Thanks again Rick! It's awesome!

Rick came out and did a great job on my roof. I had some structural damage and he came out and repaired and sealed any openings to prevent critters from entering. Rick is an older gentleman who lives in the local Huntington Beach area. Very professional and upfront and doesn't sell you on services you don't need. Thanks Rick

Absolutely fantastic company and terrific experience! Don't waste your time with anyone else. I had 6 companies give me a bid and Rick's bid was very competitive but his service, expertise, professionalism, response time, and willingness to explain everything and work with our schedule was AMAZING. He quoted me four days to complete the job and actually finished in two! WOW!!! Super high quality work, very clean, and so courteous. The roof looks terrific. Thanks Rick and Century Roofing!

I needed a tear off on my roof, and all I can say is, Rick and Century Roofing are as good as it gets. Rick gave an accurate fair estimate, all the employees were fast and punctual with there eta. They performed quality work, did a spotless cleanup when done, and Mike did a walk around with me upon job completion. Highly recommend Century roofing, A+++
